Customers recognize the 65" Class C2 Series OLED evo 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2022) for its exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and excellent performance in gaming. Many appreciate the ease of use and lightweight design, although some users find the remote control challenging and have expressed concerns about the operating system. The high price point is also a factor for some potential buyers. While OLED technology is praised, potential burn-in remains a concern for a few customers.

Great TV!

Bought the 65" LG C1 on clearance from Amazon and noticed a lot of flickering pixels and visual anomalies when it arrived. Gutted. Returned it and spent a little more at Best Buy to get the C2 on sale and picked it up the same day (fits flat in a large SUV just fine). Have been very pleased with the picture and while I was mostly happy with our LG LED TV the past few years, I'm definitely wishing we'd just ponied up the extra $ for OLED. Such a better picture! No more "dirty sky" effect in movies/tv shows, no more horrible light bleed in the bars above/below a widscreen film or around subtitles. Space scenes are actually black and not washed-out black/grey! If you are on the fence about OLED and can afford the price difference, don't hesitate to grab one. Avoid the buyer remorse from going with a cheaper LED. I can attest to the weird PS5 issue someone else mentioned. Ours powers up with the TV almost every time. Hopefully they fix that with a software update but it's a minor annoyance and would not stop me from buying this TV all over again.

The King of TV's

What more can you say about a TV that is near perfect? The picture quality - whether you're watching movies, TV shows, or playing video games - is phenomenal, especially content that is in full 4K Dolby Vision HDR (the TV also features HDR10, so you can enjoy HDR content in that format as well). LG's game mode combined with all 4 HDMI ports being HDMI 2.1 has allowed me to plug in both my Xbox Series X and PS5 to the TV and get full performance out of both consoles - 4k HDR (with Dolby Vision in the case of the Xbox) running at 120hz with variable refresh rate. Moreover, the TV makes 1080p content, like gaming on the Nintendo Switch, look just as good as if it were native 4k. Just note that the C2 does not have any RCA inputs, so you will have to buy an RCA to HDMI converter if you want to hook up an older game console, such as a Gamecube or N64, or a VCR (I recommend the Insignia RCA to HDMI converter sold by BestBuy). You cannot go wrong with the LG C2 for any type of viewing. Highly recommended!

Brighter & Faster

Compared to the Previous year C1 the C2 has.
New Evo Panel resulting in around 30% brighter
Faster Processor, opening shows and apps is significantly quicker and "Snappier" than on the C1
Better Gradiation.
Better Near Black detail with C1 sometimes crushing shadow detail.
The C1 did have 120hz Black Frame Insertion and the C2 does not but this will only matter for gamers who put motion as the highest priority.
Some people will push the QD-OLED tech like the S95b or the A95k over this, and they are right that it is the newest and probably best TV Tech on the market. But keep in mind OLED like the C2 have been around for 5+ years and had almost all kinks worked out. While QD-OLED is completely fresh technology just starting in 2022. In my experience early adopters of new tech almost always get screwed. When OLED originally came out it was Burn-in, and it's literally too soon to tell what the issue with QD-OLED will be.
Keep this in mind, If you buy QD-OLED yes you will have the best of the best but you will be making a gamble.

Lifetime Samsung Owner Flipped!

I have had Samsungs since I can't say when. I always go big and do my research for the best of the best. This year I made a rookie mistake and went with the S95B, a first year OLED for Samsung. Never risk a first year of anything! It was (eventually) not operational. Slow OS as usual and in the first day was unable to connect to sources, then would not turn on. After returning a paperweight, BB rep sells me on the LG and I am over the moon! Love the remote (thought I'd hate it), OS is so smooth and fast! Point and click remote mouse. Looks great sounds even better. 100% honest I came into owning the C2 ready to hate it. But it's the best. I literally called my dad and told him.

Wonderful display with faulty power board

The good: LG OLED displays look spectacular, and they are industry-leading for a reason. The explosion of crisp color and contrast shines brightest with animation content and video games.
The bad: the power board died after about 15 months…just outside of the warranty period. I had to pay upwards of $475 for an independent repair shop to replace the unit. Upon some online research, I found message boards stating that these generation LG OLEDs made during this manufacturing period are known to have faulty power boards. I think LG should have offered every customer an extra year or so warranty period, after the fact.

Love the Bezels, Returned the B2 for this.

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I bought the B2 originally because it was cheaper and saw a lot of reviews on how great it is compared to the C2. I couldnt get over how thick the bezels were on the B2 and I really couldnt tell the difference in image quality compared to my previous tv Vizio P659G. I had buyers remorse after about 2 days and looked at the C2 at bestbuy and decided that was the one. I exchanged the TV and couldnt be happier. I'm an average Joe when it comes to product review so take my words with a grain of salt. I love the image quality compared to the B2. Even my girlfriend said mentioned how clear and vivid the colors are while we were watching a show via FirecubeTV 4k. I play the Nintendo Switch game Splatoon which is very colorful and this TV makes this game GORGEOUS! Game Mode makes everything fluid with no latency. Get it if you can spare an extra few hundred and love thin bezels.

First New TV since 2008

Wow, this new LG C2 OLED is stunningly good! I enjoyed my older Samsung 52in, for years and just didn’t know what I was missing. I would recommend this TV to others, there are many choices and I read lots of reviews and went and saw many in person, in the end I picked this one, and it was not the lowest priced available, and I do not regret it. I have a nice home theater system and this works nicely and was easy to integrate, so I don’t use the native TV speakers. Thanks Best Buy, delivery was fast and easy and they hauled away my old TV for a small fee. Doesn’t get easier.

Awesome TV. Exactly what I was looking for. Colors are vibrant and the overall picture looks fantastic. I can’t speak to the sound quality as I use Sonos Arc sound bar. I had a Samsung TV prior to this and I very much prefer the LG interface over the Samsung. I had purchased a Samsung QLED TV and returned it for this OLED. So happy I did,
Lastly, I’ve only had the TV for a month so I can’t offer an opinion on the quality of the TV over a long period of time.
