High Expectations and It Delivered

I recently had to replace an older Vizio P Series LED TV as it reach its end of lifecycle. My goals for a new TV were simple yet demanding. I wanted a TV with high refresh rate for sports and video games along with a lower input lag. Additionally, I wanted to have amazing colors, support for Dolby Vision / HDR content, and I wanted to have it in OLED specifically because I love deep contrast along with vivid colors. LG's C2 Was pretty much a given based on my requirements, but also because its price is honestly very reasonable. With the C2 you're getting a panel very similar to the LG Gallery from the previous generation, with improved brightness, along with a great picture. So... how'd it do? FANTASTIC. Genuinely, my favorite TV I've ever owned and one of the best panels I've ever viewed. It takes sports and gaming content like a champ, especially with integrated G-Sync. If you're in a regular lit - darker room, OLED just blows you away with the depth you get from having individually lit pixels. Colors will pop like you've never seen before and the thinness is astonishing. I highly recommend the C2 if you're looking for a high end TV without breaking the bank, especially given how much OLED TVs have come down in price over the years. Well worth it!

Despite using the pixel refresh feature, it still remains and will either be white or black. I have rarely, if ever, touched the screen, and now this happens after less than two years. Not sure I’ll ever buy an LG TV ever again.
