Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were very excited to receive this tv. Unfortunately, we had to return it. It is shipped by a third party and the condition of the box it arrived in was damaged. We didn’t even open it. I can only imagine what the product endured on its way here. We were not going to chance it at that price. I called the store location and they were not very professional, nor helpful in resolving. They said it happens all the time, but usually it’s with appliances. I don’t recommend purchasing this tv unless you are going to pick it up yourself.

Insane picture quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first OLED and i’m coming from a Vizio M-Series from 2019. I cant believe the picture quality i’m getting from this TV and it hasn’t been professionally calibrated yet. Beautiful juicy colors with deep inky blacks and really good peak brightness with both SDR and HDR content and not to mention incredible gaming performance with a low input lag and support for 120fps gaming with VRR and all the other gaming enhancements mumbo jumbo. This TV was worth every penny and I highly recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a serious TV with serious picture quality.

PIcture is a 6, but -1 for interface/docs
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bottom line: Amazing picture, but documentation, interface, and support is terrible. Still, I'm overjoyed with my purchase. Pros: Amazing picture Cons: -Horrible documentation -Magic remote that's more cursed than magical -Nonexistent additional online documentation Picture is absolutely amazing, well-worth all the "best TV" ratings from the pros. Incredible blacks, more than enough brightness for daytime viewing next to south-facing picture windows: However... -Almost no documentation accompanies the TV. --User manual applies to 23 different A2, B2, and C2 models. Outside of safety instructions and regulatory information, it has 7 - 1/2 pages of actual info about the TV. The only thing that doesn't apply to all 23 models is info about the WiFi. I was trying to find out what size screws to use to mount the VESA wall mount: no luck. It does tell me how to hang it from with "a sturdy rope or cable." Use a piece of string to hang a $2500 TV? Really? At least it did tell me "Before reading this manual: -Read thie manual thoroughly..." --Also included with the TV: ---Warranty info ---Product registration ---Two page sheet for the "Magic Remote Control" that basically tells you what each button does, but no more. There is a more extensive builtin user guide, once you get the set up and running. However, if I can't get the right screws to install the VESA mount, I can't hang it on the wall, so I can't fire it up, so I can't see the user guide... --User interface. Biggest problem here is the Magic Remote. It's very cool to be able to swing the remote around and have a cursor follow it on screen. Of course, when the menus go away about three seconds after you activate the magic remote (just about every single time), the magic goes away as well. In addition, it keeps going into a voice answer mode for no particular reason that I can find. Good thing I have a Harmony remote that doesn't invoke any of these issues. I finally got the screw information by going to the LG Chat support. (6mm x 25mm, by the way) Of course, it took over 20 minutes, including restarting the whole process when the chat disconnected for no reason.
I would recommend this to a friendBrand response from LGAnswers
Posted .The user guide is actually built within the TV menu now eliminating the need for a paper copy.
To change how your magic remote functions on your TV and other devices, you can change the set up in Settings > OPTION > Pointer > and you change change the speed, shape, size and alignment function of the pointer. The alignment function repositions the pointer to the center of the screen when you shake the remote control.
We are terribly sorry to see that there was an issue getting your wall mounting screws and the chat experience. Thank you for alerting us to these issues.
We appreciate you providing us your detailed feedback on your TV purchase. We will share this with our research and development teams for future improvements. ^Jennifer

Dark darks and crisp colors
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is a showstopper. The darks are truly dark! When watching something with a fade-out, the screen truly goes dark, not just the screen is black but is still emitting light move that I'm used to seeing. Colors are vibrant and crisp. Refresh rate truly lets the high-def shows/movies shine. The TV was extremely easy to unbox and setup. Was able to mount on my already existing wall mount with no trouble at all. The apps are as close to plug-and-play as you can get. Added bonus was that the TV pulled in access to my smart devices, so I can control lights and other appliances from the TV. I can't comment on the sound quality as I have a sound bar. Quality of materials is good. I had my previous LG for 5 years, and it feels like this one could last that long as well. Overall, yes, it was a hard purchase to make as it's much more costly than any other TV I've owned, but it's so much more immersive. Truly impressed, and would buy again.

Research will tell you this is a great TV. It is.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After tons of research I decided to make the investment in this LG C2 65" OLED. Do your research (YouTube has a lot) and everything you will hear in the reviews is accurate -- the picture is amazing (just amazing), the TV itself is lightweight, thin, and looks awesome. Here are some things I have found that I didn't hear in the reviews: SOUND: If you are really into pumping sound, I'm sure you'll prefer to hook this up to a soundbar or system, but it sounds pretty great on its own. I even get the full surround experience -- sometimes thinking the sounds are coming from another corner of the room -- just from the TV speakers. BRIGHTNESS: You'll hear that OLED TVs don't get bright enough. This one is plenty bright for me -- in fact, I keep it at 60% brightness as any higher hurts my eyes. If you have a really bright, open room with lots of windows, it might be an issue, but I doubt it. STREAMING: WebOS isn't great. Too many "suggestions" and the actual apps you want have small icons. It gets me where I want to go and it has all the apps I want, but it does make me miss the simplicity of Roku. Streaming content looks amazing and the TV will remember all the AV settings you chose for each app and shift to them automatically when you go back to the app. MENUS: The menu system is also not great. Common adjustments like brightness or contrast are pretty buried. Changing video mode (from Sports to Standard, say) also requires going into the full menu, rather than just having a quick change button on the remote. REMOTE: The "magic" remote is just bad. It's a pain to use the Wii-sports style pointer and while you can use arrow buttons, mis-hitting the center "OK" button causes the mouse feature to kick back in and often click where you don't want it to. The remote is the worst thing about the TV. I wish they would push an update with an option to turn the pointer off. Overall, I'm really happy with this TV. I also have a newer Sony regular LED UHD and the picture in the LG C2 is very noticeably better. The regular LEDs suffer from uneven color and shadows in the corners -- you won't get any of that with the C2. However, the Sony OS and menu system is way better.

This is a beautiful theater tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first OLED TV. I dont think i can revert back to non-OLED TVs after this. The picture quality gives a theater experience but better. You can see human pores. You can see sweat on the brow. You can see hair strands. The tv sound system is enhanced through ai and with a sound bar takes it next level. I feel like im at the movies. It was easy to assemble and setup on a stand. The design is clean, sleak, and modern. If its in your budget push for this tv. You will not be disappointed. Happy watching everyone!

LG OLED FOR LIFE!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will never buy another type of panel after owning an OLED. There is no way I could go back to the gray, washed out look of a regular backlight bleeding LED screen again. I've owned some of the most high-end Sony and Samsung LED TVs you can buy, with all the bells and whistles. None of them have compared to the LG OLEDs. I have been absolutely SPOILED by the perfect black this kind of panel offers. Colors pop against it. Contrast is incredible. The level of detail that I never knew I was missing before is astounding. That being said, OLED is certainly the way to go, but LG offers something better in my opinion and that's their "webOS". This proprietary operating system blows the others out of the water! In my experience, both Sony and Samsung had sluggish, slow menus. Their UI was generally confusing and made little sense. Very cumbersome overall (menus within menus within menus while lagging), to the point I would just bypass the built-in apps all together with a Fire Stick because of how bad the experience with those other brands was. This is not an issue with LG's webOS. Apps load fast, menus are light and snappy, TV boots up right away, updates are quick and non-intrusive. It feels very responsive overall and finding what you want is simple. (The Wii style pointer works like a dream as well, but that's optional if you don't like it.) Aside from that, LG also has really good AI enhancing technology built straight into their system that makes anything you watch look much better (clearer and sharper). I thought this was a gimmick at first, but after thorough testing, I can honestly say that I prefer having the enhancement features active across anything I watch. Additionally, LG offers some of the most natural motion tech I've seen from any brand. Generally, I turn off all motion features because it usually makes people's hands look weird, or their hair glitches and other small details, but I don't notice anything like that with LG's motion. They really did an impressive job in that category. In conclusion, if you're on the fence about OLED, I say go for it and thank me later! If you're not sure which brand of OLED is the best, put some faith into LG. They've been doing it the longest and have nearly perfected the experience. Plus, most of the panels you see on the market right now, no matter what brand, were probably manufactured and produced by LG anyway. The difference comes down to the operating systems and built-in features. LG outshines the competitors here by far in my opinion. I will never buy another kind of TV after owning an LG OLED!

Worth every penny!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this TV! I dislike having to do the research. But I'm just not the one to take others words without verification. The BB clerk was one the nosey. LG does indeed manufacture the background for this and the Sony. I saw a SBS comparison paused in just the right scene and I'll be darned, the Sony did show a better "in the shadow" image. But not enough to make me pay the difference. It's the processor! Dont run out and buy the Sony just cause you can, that's just lazy. Do you're own research! Here's why, I'm not a gamer, if that changes i got the right TV according to all of the reviews i have read. The LG processor is supposed to perform best in the Organic LED lineup (OLED). I may have to find the best game system to use on this beast! No VR for me, I dont know if i would survive the fall, if I tried to hold myself up on a table, wall, etc that isn't really there. Bottom line: I have enjoyed the many hours of movies, World Series, football, and Dolby Vision, Atmos 4K demo videos since I got this setup with the right soundbar. Best of all I made my move to buy & actually paid below BF price.

Fantastic for movies/shows/gaming! Sports? Miss.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Both SDR and HDR movies/shows look fantastic on this. Zero complaints and Im having an awesome time showing this off to anyone who comes over to my house. HDR gaming on the PS5? Flawless. Colors pop. 4k120hz. Gaming mode with VRR. Perfect. New stand design compared to the C1??? HUGE improvement. The C1 and prior stands were AWFUL and so heavy. This one is so much more compact and nicer looking and is more compatible with more set ups due to the more compact nature. Big A+ for LG on that one. Remote??? Well its literally the exact same as the C1. If you liked that remote, than congrats! Youll like this one. If you didnt?.....well. Sorry. Zero change there. Objectively its a very below average remote. The fact that it is not backlight is a crime for a premium television. Why is xfinity the only backlit remote in my house???? Do manufacturers not thing that I use their home theater devices in the DARK??? Cmon LG/Sony/Samsung. Lighten up your remotes please. Goodness. So overall, great for movies, shows, gaming, good redesign on the stand, much lighter and easier to set up, thinner bezels making it look somehow even bigger than last years C1, and the best OLED tv that isnt wildly overpriced as much as Sony. So why only 4 stars?? Because live sports look kind of awful on this. Live sports looked totally fine on the C1. Both regular and HDR sporks in 4k. No matter what settings I choose or how many tutorials I watch on how to set up for live sports, they just look "off". When changing your settings, youll fix one problem and create another. Picture looks hazy? Oh let me just change this......boom. Haze is gone!....but now the image is too dark. Okay....lets brighten it up a bit. Now it looks grainy. Okay lets clear that up. Okay now the colors are off. Okay lets adjust that. And now the haze is back.....You see where Im going with this? I matched the settings between my C1 and C2 EXACTLY, and watched the same recorded NBA game in standard picture and Premier League game in 4k on both TVs. And the C1 objectively looked better in every respect and it wasnt close. Maybe its just me and I dont like how the C2 processes sports. Im a big sports watcher and this really matters to me. I would normally give it 3 stars for being this poor for sports, but the movies/shows/gaming picture is so good, 3 stars would be harsh. So if youre getting an OLED for mainly sports? Go with some other brand and see how they are (I dont know how they would fair tbh) or just get the C1. Itll be cheaper and look way better for sports. And still look fantastic for movies/shows/gaming as well!!

The Best Overall OLED
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent premium OLED TV. It has just about everything from the G series aside from the heatsink and 60W speakers and it gets quite bright in its own right. I have a sound bar so no loss there. Certainly bright enough for my room day or night with a window to the left of it. Performance in games is phenomenal, obviously and appreciate the inky blacks coming from an older LED that was backlit. I was originally torn between this and the S95B from Samsung. That TV does get brighter, but the colors and brightness on this TV are also strong. Competitive with last year's A90J from Sony and the G1 from LG in brightness (if not better). I ultimately chose this because it was the best all around option for me as it probably will be for many others. WebOS seems to be a little less ad heavy than Samsung's Tizen, and a lot less buggy. It's also super snappy and recognizes almost every device I plug into it via HDMI without issue. I've been impressed with how seamless it's been. Works with plex and emby as well.

A fantastic viewing experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG C2 is by far the best TV I've ever owned. The picture is fantastic. They say OLEDs aren't bright enough for bright rooms but I have no problem in a room with windows everywhere. A touch of reflection at the exact right time of day that can be a little distracting. I think that's my only minor complaint picture wise. It has all the gaming features... Like all of them. I have a Series X and a PS5 and I really enjoy gaming on this TV. The sound is even OK. I still needed a sound bar because with a picture this good OK sound is not good enough. Really, really good tv. Had it for over 2 years now and still going strong.

I REGRET NOTHING.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not a pro TV guy—but this is one of the best TVs I've ever owned (and I've owned a few). Over the years, the picture has continued to be one of the best that I've seen from similarly priced and the contrast is something to be appreciated. Enough ports, yes, absolutely. Deep blacks—heck yeah. I do wish the stand was a touch higher, my Sonos Arc covers the bottom inch based on the height of our TV stand and the level of our couch—but that isn't a problem with the TV, just something to pay attention to when you're sizing things up. I REGRET NOTHING.

The OLED to own
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought launch day 2022 for $2,199. Still using it daily in a bright open-plan living room. What’s aged like fine wine • Perfect blacks and infinite contrast still blow away any mini-LED I’ve sat in front of in 2025. HDR highlights in Dune, House of the Dragon, or Apple TV+ content pop harder than on newer LEDs. • Gaming is still class-leading: 4K/120 Hz, VRR, ALLM, Dolby Vision gaming, G-Sync, FreeSync. Zero burn-in after ~6,000 hours (mixed use: sports, movies, Xbox, Switch). • Alpha 9 Gen 5 processor upscales cable and YouTube surprisingly well. Motion handling remains smooth with almost no soap-opera effect if you leave Filmmaker Mode on. • webOS is fast, and the Magic Remote is still the best in the business. Reality check in 2025 • Peak brightness ~830 nits in HDR is now beaten by the C4/C5 and definitely by G4/G5, so in direct sunlight it reflects more than I’d like. Blackout curtains or anti-glare screen fixed that. • Only 40 Gbps HDMI 2.1 ports (fine for current consoles, but no 4K/120 + 12-bit HDR + Dolby Vision simultaneously on all four ports like the G-series). • Internal speakers are predictably weak (paired with Sonos Arc from day one, so never cared). Burn-in & longevity Uniformity is still perfect, no tint, no retained logos (BBC News, ESPN ticker, Xbox dashboard for hours). I just don’t leave static images on for 8+ hours and let pixel-cleaning do its thing. Bottom line in late 2025 Three years later, the 65” C2 is still one of the best-looking TVs in my house and easily beats most 2024/2025 mid-range sets. At current street price (~$1,100–$1,300 refurbished/open-box), it’s an absolute steal. If you don’t sit in a sun-drenched room and don’t need 1,500 nits, you’re not missing much skipping straight to a 2025 model. This thing still cooks.

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was worried about the horror stories of damaging an OLED TV when setting it up but it’s way more durable than expected when handled properly. I have a samsung QLED and a Sony x85j and this TV was an obvious upgrade to those. Using it for gaming is great I’ve been able to enjoy games more since it has higher frames but the OLED just upgrades the quality of the graphics. I also had worries of brightness issues compared to a QLED but this generation makes up for it. I had a minor issue of reflections from my window but it’s not noticable on brighter scenarios but it’s flawless in a dark room. It’s unfortunate that they don’t have an os that lets you get more Apps. There are certain apps that require me to have a media console since their os does not have them.

Best Display Monitor ever!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the 65". This purchase replaced a 12 year old 55" 1920x1080 LG LED TV. I mention my old TV's age as I never had a single issue or service call with it. I got it when HD was new, still had RCA jacks on the back. I expect the same service from this new LG TV. The LG C2 OLED with EVO is absolutely the best picture on the market. Colors are excellent, blacks are truly black. With the WEB OS and a wireless internet connection you can truly cut the cable if you want. I also have a PC connected for gaming and this is significantly better than my 2k PC monitors. Console games look amazingly good. You can get motion sickness playing them. Highly recommend. Zero buyer remorse. Good Labor Day sale! Definite get it recommend here.

Whether you're watching movies, gaming, or just streaming your favorite shows, this TV delivers outstanding performance. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade to the best in home entertainment!
