LG's best TV overall...
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands-down the best TV I've ever owned. I had an LG C1, which is also an excellent TV, but I couldn't help but feel there was a certain punch lacking in HDR content. This is not the case with the C2 and it's all thanks to the advancements made with its panel brightness. Granted, the difference isn't immediately noticeable, however, if you are well-versed in TV tech to where you DO notice things like highlights, you WILL notice the difference compared to the C1. This is also a great gaming TV. I've put hundreds of hours playing several games, Overwatch, Horizon, Breath of the Wild, etc., and they've all looked gorgeous and left no burn-in. Sometimes, there's slight image retention, an example being the Switch icons set against a gray screen, but it's brief and hardly noticeable or actual burn-in. Additional new features like AI voice-controlled actions are nice, as is the new stand design which makes the TV FAR LESS heavy, and the fact it's priced near the C1 makes it a no-brainer. If you're looking to get a high-end TV without necessarily paying high-end prices, look no further.

LG OLED is the best
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have two other LG OLED TVs, so when we wanted a new one for the family room, the choice was easy. Fantastic picture, black levels are amazing, no edge bleed at all, and even incredibly dark scenes in movies are viewable. We had plasma TVs, back in the day. These are better, in every way. And LED televisions don't even compete.

OLED is a must have for movie watchers, and gamers
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this tv!! The vibrant colors. The 120hz VRR feature. The deep blacks. Great for movies. Amazing for games. The 120hz enables smooth gameplay, and the Variable Refresh Rate makes it all even smoother. Definitely a must buy if you’re in the market for an OLED. FYI, EVO is LG’s new version of OLED.

A Gorgeous Smart TV for a Discerning Eye
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, let me tell you that, historically, I've been a "Sony Bravia guy". So when it came time to replace my 55" Bravia 1080p, I naturally went for a Sony Bravia OLED 4K model. Unfortunately, though the picture was still stunning, I wound up returning it because of glitches in the Google Android OS, that were just deal-breakers for me. Everybody was telling me how good the LG's were, but I tend to trust my own eyes over what critics say... So I returned the Sony and after careful scrutinization of the LG 65" OLED model (knowing that they pump up the brightness etc at the store) I decided to go with LG knowing that I could return it if need be. Not only is the picture quality right up there with the Sony, I found that their proprietary WEB_OS smart system was every bit good, if not better than the Android interface (that deterred me at first). All and all, being and audio/ videophile person I love my LG as much as I loved my Sony and highly recommend this model for those with a discerning eye. ( I use ARC to pipe the audio into my Pioneer Elite 9.1 receiver so I can't really speak for the TV audio quality. But no doubt it's fine if that's your sort of thing

Worth every penny
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I spent several months researching and deciding what new tv i wanted. I went back and forth between this LG and a Samsung, but the LG came out on top in every category. Amazing picture and interface. My only tiny complaint would be with the Magic remote. The cursor flies all over the place and takes an extremely steady hand to control.

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Black Friday price for a beautiful picture. This TV is rated almost the same as the Samsung and Sony OLED TV's for a couple hundred less. As a matter of fact LG makes the panels for both of those companies with the difference being the electronics that control the picture. This 65" TV only weighs 37lbs and can be easily handled by one person. Apparently the TV is made out of a version of carbon fiber.

Happy with my purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been refreshing this page for a while now in order to grab one right away. I am glad I have. There are a lot of competition out there and my reasoning for getting this one starts with the price/value ratio. I think this is a great starting price for a tv that comes this packed with features. I only have one TV in my apartment and this is great all in one. As far as I am aware, GSync is only available in LG TVs so whether I am streaming 4k, playing on XboX or PS5, I am getting this best stuff. Is it worth the extra grand over C1? C1 is excellent. I think it this is worth the extra money because I value speed and this thing is smooth while using the web os. When I am switching between apps or loading stuff, it just happens. I also know that given its faster processing, upscaling is better on this one but I do not know if that alone is worth the extra money over C1. That being said, I'd pick C2 any day because fast now will take longer to get slow in the future and I plan to keep this thing. I was not expecting much from its speakers to be honest but I am considering even unboxing my sound bar is worth it. Speakers are really good. I did not turn them on all the way yet but I don't think I will need that. Someone commented with two stars pretty much the day this TV became available on BestBuy which is the day I ordered mine. Mine took a week to get to me so I doubt that comment is legit... Also, it is comparing this one to a more expensive TV??? I mean, shocker, the more expensive TV is better... I am very comfortable with my choice. There are a lot good stuff coming out these days but I wanted to go with a better version of a proven platform than trying out new stuff. I also want to enjoy my console gaming and this is the best one for that.

Best TV for gamers
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the LG CX and this is a big upgrade. Remote design is so much better and fells better in your hand. Apps load faster with the new a9 5th gen processor. The blacks look even deeper now (don’t know how that’s even possible). Looks and performs phenomenal on my ps5. HIGHLY recommend this for gamers.

Exceptional Video Quality
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent TV. 65 is a good size. The native smart functions work well and are rather quick. If you purchase, I find the Apple TV is excellent companion for exception video and audio quality. One downside is that the TV doesn’t seem to be capable of achieving more than 100 mb/s download through WiFi. I don’t believe the WiFi chip has the capability to achieve higher speeds than that. However, someone would be hard pressed to need more than that on a TV. The video quality is exceptional and I find myself trying to find the highest quality videos I can find to appreciate the beauty this screen creates. I’ve owned it for a year now and I still look for demo videos, so that I can just watch how nice the picture looks. Audio quality on the TV is decent. I have a Sonos Arc mounted below (which I love), but I watch a lot of movies so the Arc is well worth it. Not much else to say. Excellent TV, no gripes and it is a good buy. Check it out if you get the chance.

Great set, but make adjustments
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love my new LG OLED. So much nicer than my older version from several tears ago. Much brighter and vibid. I found some videos with recommendations on adjusting settings. Some factory defaults are really bad. Energy saving needs to be turned off. Green on football field looked like the Grinch's fur, so unnatural. After adjustments, I am totally satisfied. Added sound bar.

Grest value for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, this is a great unit. I had dropped Verizon FIOS to go with a strening service, and had noticed a significant drop in picture quality on my 2015 LG HD55" set. I looked at quite a few TVs in trying to find a reasonably priced, yet highly rated OLED. I looked at the LG G2, but found out that despite having a better picture than the C2, it was prone to burn in over time. The C2 had a great picture, and seemed to be the right solution. It was. Once I got everything connected, and all the appropriate apps downloaded, the picture I saw was a MAJOR improvement over the old set. This on a streaming service (YouTube TV). Also impressive was the audio quality. So I am very happy with ny purchase. I did get the 3 year warranty. A consideration: if you want a free standing set, this is not it. No problem, as I simply bought a stand. I had been very hesitant to drop FIOS. But, picture quality aside, I now have access to most any app you could want (Tubi, Roku, Pluto, Fubu, etc) and the SELECTION of programming puts FIOS to shame. Highly recommend this TV.

Great 4K TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV has a fantastic picture for the price. I use it with my PS5 and having upgraded from a 1080P TV, it looks incredible. I don't use the TV speakers so cannot speak to them but it sounds great through my surround sound receiver. Highly recommend this TV if you're looking for a 65" that isn't over $2k

Quality Premium Experience
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a beautiful TV that really caters to a gaming, movie lover, and sports lifestyle. OLED's have always been a favorite since they first came onto the market and have never let me down. When deciding on an OLED it is vital that they are placed in a darker room, room with black out curtains, or a basement. OLED's thrive in darker environments because of their rich dark colors. They will have a lot of glare if in a room with a lot of direct sunlight that you can't block out which will ruin your viewing experience. This TV has been gorgeous and leaves me awestruck time and time again while enjoying content on it. Paired with a Dolby Atmos / DTX soundbar only increases this experience of satisfaction. I still have a G series from 2016 that is going strong that this replaced and has only cemented that OLED is my preferred TV when in the market. I also have no personal concerns with image burn in and even if it does become a problem LG has built in features for pixel refreshing and even then OLED's are now more affordable then ever. You can't go wrong if you want to enjoy a premium experience at home without breaking the bank. Especially with C series having more premium components inside, this is a no brainier purchase

Great Value for OLED Gaming and Movies
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV hits the sweet spot between price and quality if you’re looking for an OLED tv to play games on and watch movies/tv. It’s too early to comment on burn in, but I’ve seen no image retention so far. Make sure you read up on and configure your burn in protection. Avoid using the manual cleaning unless you’re specifically having a problem - the interface does not make it 100% clear that using it too often will reduce your screen’s brightness. Brightness capability is more than sufficient, but be aware that keeping it too high will cut into the life of the tv. I recommend researching the pros and cons of OLED tvs to make sure they are right for you. I don’t use the speakers because I have a Home Theater system, but I heard them during setup, and they sounded surprisingly full and good for tv speakers. Settings were relatively easy to figure out, but I don’t like LG’s webOS as much as I did the interface on my old Bravia. All in all recommended if you are sure you want an OLED right now, and you plan to do some gaming. If you’re on the fence, wait a year or two for quantum LEDs to come down in price and get perfected.
