the picture was great for the 3 hours the TV worked. It is being exchanged this Sat. I’m hopeful this one will work for a long time and then give a favorable review.
Hi, Jeff. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG TV (OLED65C5PUA) model. We’re glad to hear the picture quality impressed you, even if only briefly. We understand how important it is for your new TV to deliver consistent performance, and we’re hopeful the replacement will meet your expectations. We're committed to providing reliable, high-quality products for a smooth experience.
If you encounter a similar issue, try a power cycle by unplugging the TV for 60 seconds before plugging it back in. This can reset some components and fix temporary glitches. Also, ensure the TV is plugged directly into a working outlet, as surge protectors can affect power delivery. Unless you are familiar with “ smart” devices, I do not recommend buying a product that is one. The learning curve is very steep.

The TV was never delivered.

Due to the size of the tv I purchased the $199 delivery option. The delivery was to take place 12 days later. They never showed up. After hours of being placed on hold and dealing with unhelpful customer service reps the delivery date was rescheduled to a date 14 days in the future. I cancelled the order. Amazon can deliver the same TV at the same price in 2 days with no shipping costs.

Began having intermittent "turn-offs".
Then went OK
Today, LG died and will not come back on!!
When it's on, it's great!
Hi, Albert. Thanks for sharing your experience with the LG TV (OLED65C5PUA). It's great to know the picture quality impressed you. If your TV won't power on, try a power reset: unplug it for at least 60 seconds, then plug it back in directly. Ensure the power cord is securely connected. If the standby light is off and it still doesn't respond, press the power button on the TV itself. Horrible return policy and price match.

Ridiculous 15 day return and price match policy.
I was trying to price match a TV that I purchased 3 weeks ago and was politely told too bad too sad for you. 15 days is not a normal return/price match policy in America. This is ridiculous. I am never buing anything again from Best Buy and don't recommend you to purchase anything from there either. So many store out there carrying the same items with normal 30 day return policy and price match. Hatred and contempt!
Hi, Alex. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the LG TV (OLED65C5PUA). We appreciate your feedback and understand issues with return and price match policies.
LG doesn’t have specific policies for each retailer, so we recommend checking return and price match details directly with the store, as they can vary. You can contact Best Buy customer service at 888-237-8289 for assistance.
We’re glad you chose the OLED65C5PUA — it’s a fantastic TV with features like OLED Dynamic Tone Mapping and AI Picture Pro. Picture is not clear. Fuzzy at times. Colors not vibrant. Not at all like the TV in the show room. Also the screen is very warm. Geek squad coming Sept. 9 to see what is going on. Disappointed with the TV. Hoping it can be fixed.

They sell defective products. I purchased a LG OLED TV and it turned defective, keeps making beeping noise and turns off every 5 minutes. And returning it is a pain.
Hi, Rohit. Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your LG TV (OLED65C5PUA) model.
We understand the importance of an immersive and uninterrupted viewing experience, especially with a high-performance OLED display. Beeping and sudden power-offs can sometimes be triggered by external power issues or internal safety shut-offs. Before proceeding with a return, please try a Hard Power Reset and check the Power Settings to rule out a software or environment-related glitch. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE

The first tv had a strange beeping and buzzing sound. Took it back, grabbed a second one, AND ITS DOING THE SAME THING!!
Hello there, Kurtis. Thanks for sharing your experience with the OLED65C5PUA. We understand how unexpected it can be to encounter a recurring sound issue, especially after replacing the unit.
The beeping or buzzing you're describing may be related to thermal expansion or internal cabinet vibration, which can occur as the TV warms up during use. LG OLED TVs are built with advanced materials that can expand slightly with heat, sometimes producing subtle noises. This is not a defect, and to know more about this, here is a link you may visit: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-oled-tv-popping-or-crackling-noise--20154713282499

The pictures of the framed pictures doesn’t stay on. Goes off after a while. Should be constant
Hello there, TonyR. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand that the picture frame feature on your LG - 65" Class C5 Series OLED evo AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV does not remain on as long as you would prefer. We understand your inquiry and appreciate you bringing this specific operational setting to our attention. This feature, often part of the Art Gallery or Ambient Mode, is typically designed with a setting to manage the display time, which helps to conserve energy and prevent image retention on the OLED panel. To adjust the duration that the picture frame or gallery mode stays on, the simple step we can advise you to try is accessing the TV's power-saving or general settings menu. Look for the "Screen Saver," "Power Saving," or "OLED Panel Settings" section, where you should find an option to adjust the timer for the Art Gallery or picture mode. By increasing this time limit, you should be able to keep the display of your framed pictures constant for a longer period. We are committed to helping you optimize the TV's features to perfectly suit your viewing preferences. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-65-class-c5-series-oled-evo-ai-4k-uhd-smart-webos-tv-2025/JJ8VPZTRG6 For further assistance and any specific concerns you may have, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport. THE REMOTE IS NOT THE BEST - STEEP LEARNING CURVE

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
love our new tv. pixels / picture is amazing. clear and crisp viewing. Just the right size for our family room.
CONS: The learning curve on how to use the controller is high. The vol buttons are not ideal and it takes a while to learn how to navigate hovering over the streaming service you want and clicking OK. You have to get your cursor over it directly - it is wonky. Forget search options and having to find that and type in search for - that sucks.

Extremely pleased with picture quality and audio. LG has addressed the bright room issue well. The screen glare is almost as good as the QLED it replaced and audio from the set easily fills my moderate size room. Of course I’ll add a soundbar and sub later, but for I’m just enjoying the bright screen, rich colors and deep blacks OLED is famous for.

I previously had a 55" LG OLED I was very happy with, and have only found the same satisfaction with this larger model. Incredible rightness and contrast capabilities with black levels that go to actual black, and while the glossy screen troubled me before purchase, in my living room, I don't even notice reflections when the screen is on. Settings are maybe a little harder to navigate then the 2020 model I worked with before, but the essentials are within easy reach.

This smart tv replaced my tv that was not a smart tv
I love the picture clear quality . I’m getting use to using all the different advanced tech features that comes with this brand
. I love the voice activate features
I love the apps that already came programmed on the tv
The sound is theater quality
I only wish I would have purchase a larger screen
I got the 65 in and in my open space it’s nit as big as I wanted
But this is the best picture and found I have ever had in a tv

This is the first TV I have purchased in several years. The internet had only good things to say about it and I must agree! Beautiful clear picture even seen with my aging eyes. Nice clear voices during dialog in the movies. Remote control feels good in my hands. (Not too big) But Not the easiest to use when you have painful joints. Too many buttons have multiple uses.

After careful consideration and research, I chose the LG C5 65". I've had it for a few weeks and I'm super happy with it. I'm thinking of getting one for another room too. The picture quality is amazing in light or dark settings, action scenes have great motion, clarity and color are beautiful. It does reflect light sources as reviews say, but it's about the same as my old LED did. I paired it with an LG sound bar and subwoofer which is also great. I recommend the TV for sure, if you get a good deal!
