Customers are saying
Customers are pleased with the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and easy setup of the 65" Class C9PUA Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. They appreciate the gaming capabilities and the future-proofing provided by the HDMI 2.1 ports. While some find the remote control difficult to use and the TV expensive, concerns about burn-in and the unattractive design when wall-mounted are also mentioned.

Must have TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for amazing picture quality paired with all of the apps you desire, then this is the TV for you! It is easy to go from watching live tv to switching to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Price, etc. This also can be linked to Amazon devices, so you can control the TV without having to pick up the remote. one of my favorite purchases!

Excellent tv
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one heavy TV. Didn’t hang on wall but placed on TV stand. Physically it is a nice TV. The picture is great and there are many options for setting picture to your personal taste. Intuitive remote. Took some time to get used to using the on screen cursor but could be my not to steady hands. To date I haven’t found any cons regarding the TV, except it not cheap. But worth the extra money.

GREAT Picture, when it works - 2-1/2 stars
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PROS: I love the picture, the absolute BEST picture I've ever seen, hands down!!! A wide array of picture settings available right out of the box. Love the Magic Remote, wish other companies had this. The setup was quick and easy. CONS: Ever since I've had this TV, (for less than a month as of this review), I've had to do 2 hard resets. I have to enter my wifi pw almost on a daily basis. For a 65" TV costing well over $2000, this is unacceptable! I contacted LG support, about 9 days ago, this is when I learned about the hard reset option. I told the person the TV kept dropping my wifi pw, he says, "check the box that says remember pw". Oh wow, why didn't I think of that...because it wasn't an option. I told him there was no box to check! This is when he said to do the hard reset and said this will fix the issue. WRONG! No box appeared! nothing, notta, zilch! Just yesterday 12/25 (Merry Christmas to me for buying a lemon), all of the apps (except Prime Video) stopped working/loading. I again had to perform the second hard reset in less than 2 weeks! If it weren't having a Firestick attached, I wouldn't be able to watch TV at all! For being a "smart" TV, this one is dumb as a box of rocks! Bottom line, after all of the research I did, and all of the reviews I watched, I'm extremely disappointed with this purchase. Again the picture is fantastic, it's just getting an actual picture on the TV is the problem. LG support wasn't helpful at all. Luckily I saved all of the packaging, I will give this until the new year, if it's not corrected by then by LG support, I'll be returning it to Best Buy, and either buying a SONY OLED or something else. I am extremely disappointed in LG's "premium" TV offering. At this point, I cannot recommend this product to anyone else!

Superb
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced a 65" Panasonic Plasma that was performing very well -- but wanted the convenience of a "smart" TV along with the same or better picture quality. This TV gave me both. Of course, 4K, and HDR are remarkable -- but, the real plus has been how well it does displaying 1080p from Spectrum. We still watch cable TV and this TV delivers an outstanding picture via up-scaling.

the best out there, but get extended warranty
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It seems to be the best OLED tv out there. Great picture with the blackest blacks and whitest whites, especially when watching HDR sources. The only downside is the dreaded vertical banding which I found affects many OLED tvs. Luckily my 2-3 inch vertical band appeared right before my 1 year warranty was up. LG replaced the whole panel for free, the only solution for that problem. I definitely recommend getting some kind of extended warranty. If I only knew. You would need to get it I believe before 90 days after purchase which I didn't do since I wasn't aware of the vertical banding problem prevalent with OLED tvs.

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding picture quality. User interface is above par and remote is good. Only downside is lack of availability of some native streaming applications - requires accessory such as a Roku or Fire TV. I run audio through an external processor, so no real comment regarding sound quality.

Best picture hands down
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is amazing. CLEAREST picture I have ever seen. The features are amazing to run through, and the remote is just flat out awesome. You can get to any app quickly, and adjust using the Magic remote. The pointer option helps you type quickly, and the voice assistants are super helpful. I would suggest this TV for whomever wants one of the best pictures out there!

Big and Beautiful
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn't realize how massive this TV would be until I unboxed it. Wow! Crystal clear display, eye-popping color, ultra-thin, and works great with my Bose 500 soundbar. Easy to set up and operate thanks to voice activation and the cursor-enabled remote. If you want to take your TV experience to the next level, go with this model. You won't be disappointed!

Great OLED 65"
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did a lot of research and BB had all the models to review on the wall next to each other. Chose this over the Sony. The picture is excellent. Have had a month at home. Can easily move between setups and customize. Difficult initially to setup with older Polk Sound bar but now works great with the magic remote. Like the SmartTV and remote features. Streamlines our setup. Add a few apps and have everything previously used under Roku. Overall, very pleased with both the outstanding picture as well as the features and usability.

Picture is excellent
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had plasma screens for the past 19 years and this LG doesn’t disappoint. This screen quality is exceptional and the 65” size is perfect for our family room! No more cable service needed! That will pay for our new LG TV in no time. It was easy to add our subscriptions to YouTube TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime and ROKU. The HDR is very convenient. Love our new LG!!

Very impressive display!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a big fan of LG TVs for a long time, but this display stands out from any of the others I have seen in the past. Very impressive deep colors and clarity. One of the easiest TVs I have ever calibrated. Barely had to tweak any settings to get an incredible picture. The built-in sound is even respectable in comparison to other flat screen's audio quality.

Best tv EVER!!!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Movies, sports and video games looks AMAZING on this tv. I play a lot of video games with my PS4 since I got this tv on September 2019, and NO BURN IN. There is some image retention but it goes away. I did go for the Best Buy warranty for peace at mind (it covers burnin). But overall I DO NOT REGRET IT. Can’t wait for next gen consoles to utilize the HDMI 2.1

Astounding Quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm an engineer at a TV station, and have seen each step of TV display evolution over several decades. This OLED TV is quite impressive, the best video display I've ever seen. A couple of comments... Because it is such an excellent display, it will reveal more flaws in the video quality of your sources. If this TV doesn't look so good to you at times, it could very well be that your source is sub-par. A good control or comparison is to stream a good 4K video from Netflix or YouTube - that will restore your faith in the TV's picture quality. The over-the-air tuner is the best I have ever had. There are some distant channels that no other TV in the house can receive, and this TV displays them flawlessly. I use the optical output to feed a 5.1 audio system. I discovered that if you set the TV's output to "Optical + Internal Speakers", you'll get essentially 2.0 format. You have to set the TV output to "Optical" only in order for it to pass through 5.1 audio. The picture is perfect at any viewing angle, a real plus for our living room that has a fairly wide spread of seating. In conclusion, we continue to be impressed with the picture quality. With proper 4K content, or top-notch 1080, it is stunning and quite enjoyable.

Great TV--lives up to expectations
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had not realized what I was missing. Color is fantastic and I see details that I missed before, e.g., texture in fabric, freckles, the lettering on shirts fans are wearing at hockey games. Even for non-HD programs, the picture is better. On rare occasions, there is a "stutter" in the picture. I don't know if that is the TV or the service provider.

Gorgeous Picture
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this several months ago and the picture quality gets better with use. Whether it's sports, movies, streaming, TV it has a great picture! The functions are easy to use and there are a lot of apps. With the pandemic we have had much use of this in all aspects but live sports but even the old re-runs looks great! Highly recommend

Best Buy's best 4k tv of 2019.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a LG 55UJ7700 that was mainly used for gaming back in 2017 or 2018 after my old HDTV finally gave out. I didnt have much idea about 4k tvs and figured as long as it was 4k it should be ok. Once I tried watching a 4k HDR movie, I noticed ugly looming lights on dark scenes or when using subtitles. I thought there was some kind of malfunction with the tv. The Dark scenes with subtitles made the lights act crazy like a christmas party. For 2yrs, it has been embarrassing and distracting. With the Will Smith movie - Gemini Man it became so bad, that at one point I bit my lips from the pain on my eyes and said, enough is enough. Now, after 2 months of research, it came down to a QLED, OLED, 4k Projector or VIZIO P series. I was leaning towards one and then the other back and forth. But somehow always came back to the Oled. I finally went all in and never looked back. Didnt want "what if" in the back of my head, had I gone with the other tv options. Now my blacks look black and not faded gray. Only negative that I can think of, is that the C9 does not come with zoom in mode to avoid the burn in risks. But for 4k movies, its #1. BEST DEEP BLACK LEVELS. BEST TV for serious movie collectors. BEST GAMING TV.

Outstanding!!!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Due to COVID we had to use the drive up delivery to car system at Best Buy. We had never seen this TV in person, but was ready to upgrade. After reading tons of customer and expert reviews we decided to go with the LG C9 and man are we loving it. The picture is amazing, hook up was easy and the pick up process at the store went seamlessly.
