Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and easy setup of the 65" Class C9PUA Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. They appreciate the gaming capabilities and the future-proofing provided by the HDMI 2.1 ports. While some find the remote control difficult to use and the TV expensive, concerns about burn-in and the unattractive design when wall-mounted are also mentioned.

I love this tv! Very good picture quality. Deep blacks and vibrant colors. Good for both gaming and HD movies. The only thing I don't like is the frustrating updates it pushes on you. Just leave me alone!

We are looking forward to really getting to know all the user friendly features of this TV. We are not too tech savvy, so this is perfect for us. The clarity of the picture is wonderful. so far, it is a great choice for us.

So satisfied with this LG television. Great picture quality. Easy to use. And Best Buy did a fantastic job installing this on my wall. This was a good buy, and something I am looking forward to to enjoying for a long time.

The tv is amazing! The dark colors actually look like dark colors. It connects to everything which makes it easy for us to watch any streaming (Netflix, Hulu) and my husband loves playing video games on it. It’s crazy crisp!

Tv is great super slim, looks amazing deep bright colors. Google and Alexa built-in. Magic remote is very user friendly. I was going to go with a Samsung Q70LED sent more than I initially thought but I am glad I did.

Very high quality TV. Image quality is superb. Remote control and apps are well done. Just a heads up, the TV is VERY thin, so much so that it flexes a little bit when installing on a wall mount.

The LG OLED C9 really does have an awesome picture quality. Everything is incredibly vivid with deep rich colors. It was amazing how big of a difference there was when comparing it with other televisions side by side and is definitely a vast improvement. One thing to note is that the screen is extremely thin. This made it a bit of a challenge to move around and I had to try to avoid touching the screen as much as possible while lifting it because I was worried about breaking/cracking the screen.

The picture is beautiful. Super dark blacks, no light bleed. I would highly recommend googling picture setting suggestions. There's a good article that shows you what to tweak for an even better picture than the default. I no longer need to use any other medium (Firestick, PS4) to manage all my streaming services. I can download Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Crunchyroll, and not be limited to 1080 resolution (i don't own a PS4 Pro). Huge plus for me. The voice remote uses Google assistant and Amazon Alexa, which is also another great feature for switching apps or sources. The only negative thing is the unnecessarily heavy base compared to the paper thin display. You have to be extremely careful when lifting.

    Broke After One Month

We've been looking at the LG OLED's for years, and own 3 LED LG's, and finally decided to pull the trigger for the Game of Thrones final season. It broke just after a month. We were watching the news on a Wednesday evening and the TV turned itself off. We tried to turn it on again, and there were green lines on the left side of the TV and it shut off again. We called LG support and went through troubleshooting steps and were told it needed service. They got us on the schedule for Friday morning. The next day we got a call from the service center who said they certainly couldn't repair it on Friday since they would need to order parts. Two and a half weeks later they had the parts, and replaced the mainboard and power supply. This still didn't fix it. They said the panel itself is likely bad and we would have to wait two weeks or more for a new panel, and that since it's for an OLED, they are prone to breaking. He recommended we call LG to see about just getting a new TV. Called and spoke to Crystal (overseas) and when asked to speak to a manager, spoke to Curtis (AI102685) and was told that "only Engineering makes the determination to replace" and that if they DO, it would be a refurbished unit! We spent $$$ on a brand new TV that broke just after a month of owning - there's no way that justifies getting a refurbished unit or waiting another month to guess at another repair which may or may not even fix it. Nobody claims to have seen this problem before so everything is just guesswork. We wish we would've just returned to Best Buy, since we are Elite members and it was within the 45 day return policy when it broke, and now of course after waiting for the "repair" we are well past that. Pros: Beautiful colors Decent sound Cons: Heavy Poor instructions for the stand Horrible, overseas support

Amazing quality, however for the high price tag I’m not sure the difference in quality from a QLED TV is worth the significant price change. Love the TV but price is still a little steep.

This TV is beautiful when it’s turned off, and the picture when it’s on is breathtaking. LG’s OLED is the best picture around and I couldn’t be happier. No issues with burn in. Blacks are stunning.

We spent a great deal of time looking for the right tv for me for my home gym, and this was undoubtedly it. Frankly, I’d rather stick needles in my eyes than work out, so the function of the gym tv is to distract me from the reality of my existence. The 65” LG does this beautifully. The image is stunning, bright, dark, sharp. The audio is very, very good considering that I refused to buy a sound bar for a television that’s never going to be on unless I’m riding, rowing, or lifting. Mounting it ourselves was as simple as could be, and it took to my Apple TV 4K like they were engineered together. I really can’t recommend this one too highly. Easily the best electronic product I’ve ever owned—and I’ve owned a fair few.

Seems like a great set. Got open box. No box no controller. Employees wheeled it out on metal cart. No cables, nuthin. Bare essential screen stand and some paper work with screws thank god. Scared as all hell to move the TV in a month. 65 inch, no box no protective styrofoam. Pretty angry about them scratching the under side of the tv. Stand covers it up and all but dang. Terrrrrible customer service. bb transfered me to lg for controller, lg said no warranty. Thank God I bought the geek squad protection hopefully. So many bad things have been said it literally scares the kids right out of me when dropping em off at the pool.. Enough toilet humor, lastly I would recommend getting calibration.

As everyone says tv is really crisp, I use OTA antenna and it receives more channels than my previous one. Upscaling works and processor really is fast. Bought the TV and after two weeks I realized it was for sale for $300 lower than I bought it for, BestBuy stood by their match price guarantee and sent those 300 plus tax back to my card!

Absolutely an excellent picture after some minor tweaks. HD cable TV, Netflix and YouTube look amazing. Haven't used it for gaming yet. Easy setup and the remote is really nice and controls my cable box and sound bar too. Not really sure why they call it a "Smart TV" because integration into a smart home environment sucks. Internet TV with a smart remote is more accurate.

This is by far the best tv we have ever owned. The picture is clear and bright, and the colors are superb, even though it's in a room with a full wall of glass sliding doors. Very happy with our purchase!

Bought this as a Father's Day gift for my husband. Needless to say, he was absolutely thrilled! The picture quality is unmatched. Some advice --- have Best Buy deliver the television. I thought I would just pick it up in my truck and come home with it, luckily one of the salesmen who had just purchased his own tv talked me out of it. The screen is so thin, the slightest bump could ruin it. Also, be sure to get the insurance plan. After I purchased the television, I kept reading reviews encouraging everyone to buy the plan in case of burn-in. Had no idea what that was, and no one told me about the plan when buying the tv. So glad I read up on it. Now, we have the plan just in case.

I did a lot of research before purchasing a new 4K TV and had originally landed on the new Samsung QLED. I had concerns about burn in and thought the QLED would be a good compromise based on reviews of overall picture quality. After I purchased the Samsung and calibrated it to my room, I was able to enjoy it for about a week before it failed. Best Buy was great and took it back without question and I replaced it with the LG C9 OLED. I am so happy now that the Samsung failed or I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to enjoy this LG OLED. Best TV I have ever owned!! Picture quality is unmatched.
