Customers are pleased with the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and easy setup of the 65" Class C9PUA Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. They appreciate the gaming capabilities and the future-proofing provided by the HDMI 2.1 ports. While some find the remote control difficult to use and the TV expensive, concerns about burn-in and the unattractive design when wall-mounted are also mentioned.

Yes, this TV is expensive, but it is totally worth it. The colors are aamzing. The blacks from an OLED are indescribable, you have to experience it.

Absolutely the best TV out there. It should be obvious that when we watch TV, its the visuals it creates that we see. IF you spend any amount of time watching TV, Spock would say its logical you want the best TV to create those visuals. This OLED TV is simply stunning. And with most streaming services in 4K as well as gaming, its value is on full display every time we watch TV. I also have last years model so was familiar with OLED before buying. IF $$$ is an issue, the B9 model is less costly, noting the 2020 models of each are about to hit the street.

I chose the C9 over the CX due to the fact that it has full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth(48Gbps) compared to the CX’s(40Gbps). I also chose it over the CX due to the C9 natively being able to passthrough DTS audio codecs, the CX does not have licensing support of DTS codecs whatsoever. Hopefully LG updates the C9 to include freesync support, as this is available to the CX. Nvidia Gsync support is available for both models. I had the choice in 2020 to choose either model and went with the C9, LG please support and update with freesync.

Love this tv. Replaced a decade old LCD. Colors and blacks are just stellar. With a full 4k and hdr source it's a vast improvement over my ln52 Samsung.

Looks amazing, especially with the lights off. The sound is as good as can be expected from built-in speakers.
I really like the cast target, homekit and airplay integration - being able to use the built-in remote in my iphone is great, and I can also use homekit to connect the TV to my home automation system.
I did need to change the settings for my nvidia shield so the HDMI CEC would work on it, which I didn't appreciate.
I wish TVs this nice came without smart features for a bit less money, but the smart features on this TV are inoffensive so far.

I purchased this TV several months ago and was overall very pleased with it. The colors are vivid, blacks are incredible, it does well in a sunny room, and the built-in speakers are even fairly decent.
However, now, after months of the TV sitting untouched on our stand it has begun making this high pitched whine in scenes where there is a lot of white on the screen. I am also not alone in this as you would see if you look up the issue online. Apparently it’s a cool whine at the power supply. While I have not contacted LG yet for a fix I’m hesitant to after reading several people who had parts replaced in their TV found it made the issue even worse.
Overall this TV is wonderful but the high pitched squeal is a deal breaker. I wish I would have known about this issue sooner.

This is the first OLED I’ve ever owned and compared to the tvs I’ve owned in the past, this blows them away! From the great viewing angles to the perfect blacks, it’s unrivaled to anything I’ve seen personally. I primary use it for gaming and watching YouTube and Netflix, and so far it’s all been working without a hitch. One thing I do have to note is how thin this tv is. Handling it made me a nervous wreck. It doesn’t feel flimsy, just not very proportional. Otherwise, it’s an excellent tv that I can’t recommend enough.

This television has an excellent picture. I cannot think of any real negatives. It was plenty bright enough for a moderately lit room. The stand is solid.
I returned the TV in exchange for a Sony. Again, the TV has no real negatives, I just preferred the OS of the Sony and the upscaling of lower quality content, at least for me, was ever so slightly better on the Sony.

This LG OLED TV isn't the top of the line, but it has everything a typical user could want and isn't lacking anything you'll miss. Whether you intend to use it for solo or family viewing, whether you plan to watch movies, play games, or host Super Bowl parties, you can't go wrong with this model.
My household actually didn't expect to use our new screen all that much, since none of us are really big "television watchers." But between the Nintendo Switch, Netflix, and a Chromecast, it has quickly become the entertainment hub of the whole house.

The most astonishing piece of technology I have ever had the privilege of buying and then filing for bankruptcy.
True, it is expensive but it's worth it.
Of the two main panel manufacturers, I prefer LG thus far. Also, the processor does a much better job of temporal motion interpolation, and I am enjoying how well a 1080p signal upscales to somewhat near native 4k levels @ 120hz (mostly from Xbox Series X). Oh, and the OS far exceeds Android's implementation, which is still laggy at best.

I had a 46" Sony LCD for about 12 years. It's been great -- great picture and great sound, but we moved to a new house and it just didn't look right I'm the living room. Decided to upgrade to a new 4K 65" and wanted it to last for a good long time like the last one. The LG had Dolby Atmos audio, eArc audio, and the newer HDMI standard that the Samsung didn't have. I'm surprised at how surprised I am by the picture. EVERYTHING looks better than before, including my kids paw patrol and puppy dog pals tv shows. I regret nothing.
