Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and easy setup of the 65" Class C9PUA Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. They appreciate the gaming capabilities and the future-proofing provided by the HDMI 2.1 ports. While some find the remote control difficult to use and the TV expensive, concerns about burn-in and the unattractive design when wall-mounted are also mentioned.

Switched from Samsung to LG, also switched from led to oled. I like the LG operation, looks and function much better than the Samsung. Beautiful TV with good sound, however use receiver and surround sound system for movies, Xbox and whenever the best sound is wanted. The Magic Remote is awesome. The start up and smart functions are pretty fast, especially from what we were used to before. Because we like this TV so much, we switch all TV's in the house to LG.

This TV is remarkable. The picture quality is the best I have ever seen in a home environment. I used the built in pattern generator with Calman AutoCal software to calibrate the TV and the results are spectacular. The upgraded processor provides a noticeable difference in processing speed. There aren't any changes in the menu system or remote, but they are both still great. While not the cheapest TV, it is definitely one of the best. If you can afford it, I recommend getting it!

I am now seeing programming as it was designed by the producers. What a Quantum leap from any other Television I have ever seen including a regular LED 4K set from SONY I bought several years ago. The only downside is that because the black colors are so deep sometimes I have to draw the drapes because if the room is too light the darks are too hard to view. That said, the screen has a very effective anti-reflective coating that helps tremendously.

This is the crispest, brightest, most clear picture I've ever seen. I paid a little more for the technology, but SOOOOO worth it! You should see sporting events on this screen. BTW, my brother-in-law just got the QLED about 6 months ago. He's wishing he could return it or trade it in for the OLED. I've seen them both and couldn't agree more.

My husband and started looking at TVs priced around $1000. After looking at this one, we opted to make the big investment in size and advanced technology. We have no regrets. The picture is beautiful, from any angle. The sound, even when we don't have our soundbar turned in, is impressive. We aren't audiophiles with multiple speakers everywhere. But we now feel like we have a home theater. At our advanced age, this might turn out to be our "forever tv."

I went in with the mindset of getting a Sony or Samsung. I didn’t like how thick some of the TVs were but still had the mindset to buy one right on the spot. The Best Buy employee who helped me was very knowledgeable and showed me the difference with the LG, and it was exactly what i wanted so i purchased it. I have received my compliments and it works great, the picture is amazing and my gf cannot tell if I’m playing a video game or if football is actually on the tv.

Was hesitant to make the 4K leap, but now glad I did. I wanted a bigger screen (to watch my Blu-ray collection, in particular) and wasn’t quite sure what to expect with standard BD discs...but let me say, they look fantastic! Going from a 50” plasma to this 65” oled has been a dream. 4K content looks stunning of course, but I’m almost more impressed by how amazing 1080p discs and streaming look, since that’s the majority of what I watch. Highly recommended!

I am disappointed in the content quality from cable boxes but any 4K content streamed via third party providers (netflix, disney, amazon, etc....) is insanely impressive!! Also, while i did purchase a separate Dolby Atmos soundbar, the TV speakers are solid (for TV speakers...). Also, if you get this TV (any 4K for that matter), getting new HDMI 2.1 cables DOES make a difference. And I bought 2 8ft Monoprice (best name in cables) HDMI 2.1 cables for $18

This TV has the best picture I have seen anywhere. This is a 2019 model but was manufactured on 01/2020. I purchased this TV in February 2020. Don't know if that makes a difference. Go see this TV for yourself at your local Magnolia while they still have them. The new 2020 LG OLED'S will be coming out soon. Compare the two and see what you think. I haven't seen the 2020 models but it's hard to believe that the new models will have a better picture.

TV is great and honestly was a little daunting to take out of the box with the size and how incredibly thin it is. Despite being thin, it delivers an incredible picture. I noticed a difference instantly when watching Netflix and sports. Can't wait for baseball season. Reason for 4 stars is that the setup was a bit annoying. One of the screws stripped almost instantly. So LG, please spend a little bit extra on slightly higher quality screws. There's only like 5 screws holding the TV onto the base, I don't love that one of them is stripped and will make take-down more difficult if I ever have to move the TV. Be careful and gentle with their cheap screws.

I love my new TV. The picture is great and the sound is very good. The crew at BestBuy was so helpful. I looked at loads of TVs over about 4 months. I had lots of questions and they helped me make my decision. After enjoying my new LG65 OLED for about 3 weeks I am thrilled with my purchase, thanks to the BestBuy crew!

I have owned several flagship plasma TVs my latest being the Samsung PNF8500 which is an excellent tv. I have wanted the OLED TV since it first came out a few years ago. I almost purchased one back then but a friend of mine beat me to it and asked me to help hook it up for him. When I did I was so disappointed in the picture quality of regular tv that I chose not to buy one. Fast forward a few years and technology advancements and now it is worth the upgrade to 4k. I did do a side by side comparison of my plasma to the OLED just to be sure it was worth the price and there was enough of an improvement for me to keep the tv. The reason for 4 stars is longevity. I have only had this tv for a few weeks and I have read enough reviews to know there are issues with these tv"s. If this last a long time it will be worthy of 5 stars.
