Customers are pleased with the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and easy setup of the 65" Class C9PUA Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. They appreciate the gaming capabilities and the future-proofing provided by the HDMI 2.1 ports. While some find the remote control difficult to use and the TV expensive, concerns about burn-in and the unattractive design when wall-mounted are also mentioned.

Picture quality is outstanding. Likely better than anything available to stream, although it makes the best of any video, with great contrast and color reproduction.
“MagicRemote” may be a little overkill, as a few weeks of using still requires an occasional look at the pamphlet. User/setup information is only via the TV. A printed copy of comprehensive information would be helpful, for all TV features
Changing sound shown of TV but can’t make it show sound Level except when using internal speakers, which would be helpful when using a sound bar.
Stand instructions were a little quirky, but easy enough.
All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase a month ago, and plan to have it wall mounted.

After reading reviews on different brands, I settled on the 2019 LG 65 inch C9PUA OLED. I previously had a 2014 Samsung 65 inch led and it’s not a fair comparison. The LG picture quality is AMAZING and as a bonus, the Magic remote controls my ROKU ULTRA, Dish set top box, and a Samsung Blueray player thus reducing my remotes from 5to 2. I also have a Firestick and it recognizes it but can’t control it. I also had a sound bar with remote but the sound on the LG is so amazing I don’t need it any more. If you decide to buy this model you won’t be disappointed. Be aware that if you purchase it is very heavy because of the weight of the base. You’ll also need to haul it standing up or have it delivered.

We really love this TV. The color and motion features are great and the sound is good enough that we don't feel compelled to use a soundbar, at least not yet. There are times when the true black is so black that it makes it difficult to see, particularly older movies with a lot of night scenes like Terminator. I have not adjusted any picture settings yet, so that might be some of the issue. The remote has a lot of options and there is a learning curve for some features, but there is also single-button access to Netflix and Prime Video, which is nice if you use those. This TV had a substantial price tag, but so far I feel it was worth the investment.

Bestbuy upgraded me to this from my C7 after I was experiencing some burn in after a couple years. I didn't think it would be much of a difference but I was wrong. Absolutely incredible picture and fantastic for gaming. I've experienced no issues at all so far but it's only been a couple of weeks. If you're hesitant to buy because of the burn in that these OLEDs are capable of getting then I just recommend getting the Geeksquad protection with this TV. They took care of the issue very efficiently. Don't expect to get an upgrade everytime but I feel reassured with the protection and got it with this TV as well. Only con would be the purchase price but they are trending downward.

This tv has a great picture and a lot of nice features. The details and contrasts are amazing, the best tv I have ever owned. The magic remote is so much nicer than the conventional one for entering info that I really appreciate it after all the signing in to streaming content. The voice recognition is as good as using an Amazon device. It’s very thin on the top, incredible to look at. Thinner than an iPhone. The tv itself has great sound, far better than I have been used too. The only problem I have had is the HDMI ARC out doesn’t always work. When it does I sent audio through my Dolby Atmos set up and it’s great but there have been several occasions where the sound doesn’t work and for a lack of better terms, it ticks me off. A lot of money to have a key function not work properly. It has had a good run of several days so I’m hoping it stays that way but it will be noted to LG for future reference. 5 stars without the audio issue.

This TV has amazing picture quality and detail with solid true black color with rich colors all around. I have been watching my old movie collection and my old 1080P blu-rays look amazing it is like I am watching them all in 4k. The WebOS is one of the best smart TV interfaces I have used to date. Much nicer then my old Samsung that had a choppy interface and much closer to a Roku. This TV is well worth the extra money I spent. The screen on this TV is thin as it gets and mount on the wall with ease. I would recommend this TV if you are looking for a TV for movie watching and high detail vibrant colors.

Just got this TV 3 days ago.
Beyond the amazing picture quality (and it is amazing) - the "smart" part of this TV is great too.
Easy setup, recognized my uverse box immediately, and navigation between uverse and built in apps is as simple as point and click.
The included "magic remote" is aptly named, it controls everything from soundbar to uverse box to the TV itself, and recognizes which device you are streaming from automatically so you don't have to change any settings to control the device you need to control.
Finally someone really put the "smart" in smart TV!
and, with this weeks sale price, the value is top notch as well.

The great reviews are for real...watch 4K for yourself on Netflix and you'll be convinced...65" is just right, colors are accurate and vibrant, picture is sharp, crisp, amazing...not too bright, not too dim...nice sound, no real need for a sound bar unless you just want one...remote is easy to use, gets you right where you need to go quickly...as for setup, follow the onscreen prompts and it flows right along...and it looks really nice, modern and sleek tv on a stand that matches...we all like it and we went back to the factory settings after experimenting some with all the options.

This TV is perfect. We were looking for an upgrade from our Samsung. After many hours of research, we decided to go with LG, mainly because of the OLED technology. The picture is exquisite and the color and detail are very defined. However we are mesmerized by the smart remote and how easy it was too set up our apps. We cut the cord from cable this past summer and this TV allows me to integrate all my streaming services. I love this TV.

I upgraded from a 70" LG TV that had atrocious dimming. The picture quality of the C9 OLED simply can't be beat right now. Inky blacks and incredibly vibrant color. Motion handling is good and has great features and picture customization. Great for gaming and excellent game mode picture and latency. HDR is excellent. Doesn't get as bright as an LCD but definitely gets bright enough and shows great light and dark detail. I would probably put it's value at 4/5 at full price but got this on sale for $500 off putting its value for me at 5/5.

Made this purchase after hours of research on my own and four visits to Best Buy. Every time I went in the people were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to talk details and found something that fit my current a future needs at a great price point. I tested the remotes and interfaces on all the competing products and this was by far the best option. LG really did a stellar job on this TV. Also it looks great at home.
Biggest pros:
- picture quality, brightness, smart adjustments to HDR and Dolby Vision
- Interface (continue watching while browsing is nice compared to some other brands with clunkier UI)
- remote voice control and integration with apps
- price for quality
- has hdmi arc
Cons:
- cursor can sometimes be annoying (might take some getting used to for some people)
- would like some more app integrations
- unsure when Dolby Atmos is playing through a connected sound system
- not yet voice activated (cannot use “hey google” functionality unless holding down remote button)
Overall, an amazing purchase and can’t wait for more updates from LG to the apps!

I’ve had this tv approximately 3 weeks now. I love love love this tv. I was debating about this tv and the Sony A8G and A9G. I went with this tv due to the gift card. I sooo love this tv. The remote is amazing. I used setting from RTINGS to make my tv picture perfect. Best TV I’ve ever owned. I use a 5.1 surround sound and do not use the tv sound. I also love that this tv has full HDMI 2.1. I couldn’t ask for more. I think it’s plenty bright during daylight and night time. I have nothing bad to say about this tv. Get it you won’t be disappointed.

Where do I begin? This TV is the best TV I bought so far in my lifetime. Words cannot describe how amazing the experience of owning an OLED until you live with it for a week. Looking back, I wish I bought this sooner. It's well worth the asking price. Yes, it's a fairly super expensive TV, but you're getting more than a TV. You're also getting an amazing monitor or say, best monitor to this date that has nVidia G-Sync, couple with a variation refresh rate of up to 120hz on 4K resolution. This TV is the apex of all TVs. The picture quality is indescribable, it's perfection say the least. I have not seen better picture quality in any TV than this OLED. It's simply undisputed in colors and in the black levels.
My only drawback with this TV are minor gripes but very forgiving. First the TV speakers are atrocious, and it's understandable. The TV has almost no bezels as well as being the thinnest can't accommodate a good sound system through the front which means they can only have a smaller acceptable speakers beneath the TV panel that outputs the audio downward. But let's face it, you shouldn't be relying on this TV speakers regardless, it deserves to pair with a great surround sound system or a sound bar. My other small gripe is the fragility of this TV. Folks never pick it up by the front, and never gripe the TV screen because you can crack it. Treat it like a large piece of thin-glass. This TV is very heavy and very fragile to say the least, as someone who is strong, you still need a second person if you decided to install this TV to your living room just to be on the safe side.
Overall, this LG OLED is simply the greatest TV I've ever own, and BestBuy is the place to get it because of their excellent GeekSquad services. You might want to pay for the 5 year services for this TV as it's the only extended warranty that does cover " Burn-Ins."

This is my third LG OLED. I was replacing the OLED that I purchased in 2016. The picture was phenomenal, and it had everything I could need and want in a tv. Having only seen online reviews, when I ordered the C9 I kept thinking I was crazy to spend a nice chunk of change only to replace perfection. Well, now that I have had a few days with the C9 I do not regret the purchase in the least. LG found a way to improve upon the picture quality. The HDR tweaks are phenomenal, the new webOS operating system brings with it great advances, and the AI is wild. This is LG’s finest! I only have two issues... I wish LG would release a 70” OLED, and I know next year the 2020 models will have me wanting the C10.

Been wanting a OLED for years but the cost / burn in was always holding me back.. Had some great months at work and decided to jump in.. Couldn't be happier!!! Unbelievable picture quality / contrast and colors. Summed up a picture that looks "rich"..
Honesty if I only get 18 month to 2 years out of this thing, its totally worth the investment. Thats how game changing it is!!

Forget QLED. OLED is The Best in Picture Quality!

I will come straight to the point. After reviewing TVs for about two months (Samsung, LG, Sony) - specifically (OLED vs QLED), I zeroed-in on this one purely on
1. Best in class Image Quality
2. Breeze setup process
3. Outstanding sound even without a sound bar
4. Magic Remote (Wow!)
5. Apple Airplay, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa (Double Wow!)
What about Burn In?
Here is my take on it. My old Samsung Quantum SUHD (now QLED) developed burn-in in just 4 years. Samsung claims they have lifetime warranty on all the TVs brought after Sep 2016 (8/9 Series) for NOT developing Burn-In. I called Samsung, they logged the issue and has not got back even after 2 weeks. That stunner is now dying a slow death.
Given this situation - if QLED is also gonna die in 4, I would rather sallow that difficult pill and get the best in class picture quality from OLED TVs
GeekSquad - A definite YES. I reviewed major aftermarket warranties including from LG and turns out - GSP is the only plan that protects your purchase from Burn-In. This is THE critical factor when buying a OLED TV. I would highly recommend to buy it especially the 5 year plan, because OLED TV generally tend to break in its 4th or 5th year.

Did a ton of research before getting the LG C9. It came down to either a getting a QLED or OLED. I was worried about the possible burn in issues OLED tvs can have, but researched and was told that with normal use I should be fine. Normal use I suppose means not playing a game or news channel with same static news logo or same static game HUDs for several hours on end day after day. Vary the content you use on it I guess, which I intend to do. I did get the 5 year warranty of course though for peace of mind. I went with the OLED C9 for the perfect blacks it can produce. It is primarily for gaming and then also for movie nights. The picture quality is amazing. Ive never had a tv that looked this good. It is future proof with the HDMI 2.1 ports. Sound is very good on its own. The metal stand is curved and pushes the sound towards you. If your wall mounting, you may want a sound system to start with, as the stand wont be attached. I will eventually get a sound bar, but for now the sound is great with out one since i use the heavy stand. The tv panel itself is frighteningly thin haha. Thinner than most cell phones. There are plenty of unboxing videos you can find online for this tv. If your not familiar with these kinds of high end tvs, and setting it up yourself, I recommend watching one of those unboxing vids before you try to set it up. I found that helpful. I have had it for a couple weeks now, and I have zero buyers remorse. If you are in the market for a high end tv, and have the money for this tv and warranty, you will not be disappointed. That being said, do your research though, as I did. There are lots of rating sites that break everything down for you.

I have owned a E6 since 2016. We have had game nights for hours. We watch the news everyone morning. Never had one issue with burn in. I wish I could find another E6 honestly. It’s the last year they made a 3D tv. That was a mistake in my opinion. Best 3D I’ve ever seen. But any ways. The only way I could imagine screen burn in would be from watching cnn or ESPN constantly. These TVs have built in screen savers. When you pause Netflix for example it will go to a screen saver. Do your research. If you watch static images all day or game all day.... Don’t buy an oled. Pretty simple. Love LGs’s.

LG TVs let you know when 4K/HDR/Dolby Vision/Atmos are being received. This was a big help when testing my home theater system with new additions. My 2015 LG did not support Dolby Vision. My new 2919 model picture is astounding. I upgraded my Yamaha RX-A3060 based 7.1.4 sound system with a new LG OLED65C9 TV (replacing a 2015 55“ LG OLED) and LG Dolby Vision Blue Ray player. My current Cat 6 network cable extender supported 4KHDR over 50 feet but not Dolby Vision. The KD-X222 was recommended but did not work. The manufacturer Key Digital confirmed it was not designed to support Dolby Vision and recommend KD-X444S. It did not work either. Another extender from Pro Instruments did not work. After a great deal of testing, the unshielded Cat 6 cable runs through the attic and walls where it was receiving too much cross talk from lights, speakers and power cables to support Dolby Vision content. I bought 75 foot fiber optic cable to replace the Cat 6 network cable. Testing the cable between the TV and equipment rack 50 feet away running on the floor works great. The fiber optic cable is being installed in the walls and attic in 3 days. I’ll update this post if there are relevant problems.
