Customers are pleased with the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and easy setup of the 65" Class C9PUA Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. They appreciate the gaming capabilities and the future-proofing provided by the HDMI 2.1 ports. While some find the remote control difficult to use and the TV expensive, concerns about burn-in and the unattractive design when wall-mounted are also mentioned.

Outstanding OLED TV!

Absolutely incredible TV - color is bright, crisp, and insanely accurate. I was on the fence between the B9 and C9, but once I saw them side by side the color difference sold me. 4K content also looks absolutely amazing. However, the most incredible thing about this TV is the insane contrast (thanks to the awesome OLED panel). Blacks are BLACK. My only word of warning is to be very careful when handing - the top part of the display is SUPER thin (like 2 stacked credit cards thin) - I felt like if it shifted a little bit when picking it up it would break it in half. Make sure you have help when setting it up - it’s a little heavy.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with this TV.

I love this TV. I will probably stick with OLED for when I purchase another TV in the future. The black levels are insane and the picture is so crisp. No signs of burn in, cannot wait to get another LG OLED some day!

Best Picture I have Ever Seem on a TV

TV setup was easy and cable connections were not a problem. I'm using a sound bar as the audio with the optical output is much better than the TV audio. There is a little learning curve to use the remote as the TV has so many features. I learn a new one every so often one as I continue to use and explore the TV options. Fantastic picture and old video gets a nice step up in quality from the video processor. I was surprised to find that IP channels come included and already set up. I love the built-in Apple airplay so I no longer have to use my Apple TV device when sending content from my I-pad. The build-in Alexa is a nice feature too. I can highly recommend this TV for anyone wanting a higher quality presentation of their TV, Cable, and locally stored digital content. It's the best I have seen.

Everything they say about OLED technology is true. This screen produces the best picture and most amazing contrast I have ever seen. While the set is plug and play ready, I was really impressed with the customizable features that I could use to produce the best picture possible, for the room it is in. Now that more 4K content is becoming available, it makes this choice even better. The HDR and the individual pixelation create such rich colors...it's amazing! Also, I have not seen much of a difference with the TV not being as "bright" as LCD competitors. Lastly, get as big a screen as you can get! The OLED technology allows for bigger screens, even in smaller spaces. The smoothness and clarity are awesome from close up or far away! This is a purchase I will enjoy for years to come!

I have been eager to get on the OLED train for a while now, after having digested every single review out there... But nothing could prepare me for how good or how slim this TV looks in person. This TV features the best image you've ever seen... Period. I was a bit wary about if the 65"would be adequate... Believe me, it's more than enough for most rooms and sizes. The extra value that comes with Web OS renders most streaming services out there totally unnecessary and it also comes with local stations; a fact that hasn't been highlighted much in reviews! Almost all the technology needed for HDR and Dolby Vision is packed in this thing so if you've ever worried about if your streamer is lacking HDR or ATMOS, this is all you'll ever need. Don't think. Just get this thing!!

The picture is simply breathtaking, from the deep blacks to the color accuracy to the incredible detail. TV looks like a piece of modern art sitting on its glass stand, with the extremely thin OLED panel on top of a curved grey metal base, channeling out the sound from the down-firing speakers and internal subwoofer. This TV will make you smile every time you turn it on. I've bought many HD TVs, and this is the first one that truly "upscales" HD content into 4k. No need to buy a soundbar for this TV, unless you want a separate powered subwoofer to make your house shake. My only criticism: the "magic" remote is challenging to learn and use. At this $2k-plus price, there should be two remotes, including one conventional remote, like LG used to do when it first introduced the magic remote.

Bought an open box, stunning picture , deep blacks and very rich color, so far no issue with burn in and bought extended warranty. Would like to know the right calibration settings but am amazed with the picture quality compared to LED.

It's not the mega pixels for me, it's the HDR and the perfect blacks. Don't get me wrong, pixels are awesome and I like lots of them, but not seeing any banding in a scene is incredible. We run our media consumption through a PS4 (discs, we're old) or an AppleTV4k, but the smart TV apps here made us seriously consider using the LG functions exclusively. Generally we eliminate all picture processing and stay true to source so I can't comment on using lots of TV processing power, but there upscaling from HD content (even 720p) looks fantastic. It depends on the content, most old school animation upscalled can look aliased, but mainly we've been pleased with the upscaler.
If it drops in price as the 2020 CX releases, you'd be mad not to pick up this TV.

I did a ton of research before settling on this tv. Amazing picture, easy to use and awesome sound for a tv. This tv has hdmi 2.1 which is great if you like to game. The Hud is easy to use and takes up very little of the screen.

I'll make this quick. This tv has been out for almost a year now which dramatically reduced the price. Best picture and perfomance at this current price point. I bought this with newer console gaming machines and movies in mind. Hdmi 2.1 and eArc. Allm, 4k at 120hz.
Blown away by the picture (coming from 1080p Samsung 3d) depth, clarity and color. Had looked at possible waiting for a year or 2 but didnt want ps5 in 1080p. Or small 8k tv...
Thought about saving some money and possibly going qled. Or Micro led but reveiws stated that the performance wasn't there yet, plus no hdmi 2.1.
So am I happy.....yes. purchase based on your needs and you'll be happier than if purchasing based on sheer desire.

I am a proud owner of the B6 model. My home was hit by lightning and knocked out all of the hdmi ports on all of my electronics. Thank goodness for insurance! Well I decided to upgrade to the 55' and 65' C9's. Same great performance with a few additional bells and whistles in the settings. I am truly impressed with the sound even though I bypass the sound with true 7.1 surround. Out of the box the picture was pretty spot on and there are several pre selected enhancements if you aren't comfortable calibrating yourself. Excellent black levels and perfect viewing from any angle. These are the thinnest tv's you can probably buy right now. It's early in the year but this has to gain honors for one of the best if not the best set of the year.

This is by far the best T.V that I have owned. The colors and darks are amazing. Some people complain about the brightness but I think it is extremely bright when needed. I mainly stream movies/shows, watch sorts and play video games on it and all are amazing. I had to buy the 55inch version for my bedroom because my after watching this the Visio in my bedroom just does not cut it. I got as crazy deal on the tv and only paid 950$, but would pay retail price without a doubt! Also the remote is awesome! Only inconvenience it caused me was not having the espn app, but I can effortlessly screen mirror from my iPhone to the TV so it’s not really a issue at all.

I didn't think I could spot a difference before purchasing this tv. My existing tv was a LG B7 Oled from LG, 55 inch. Once I got this TV, I was surprised at the difference. It was the best purchase I've made in regards to any televisions I've ever owned. I planned to prepare for Next Gen gaming on my Xbox Series X and did some research with the help from www.rtings.com and this was the perfect set. So glad I made the purchase. Everything displays so wonderfully on this tv set, and with additional features such as Dolby Vision and HDR, the viewing experience is flawless. The amount of compatibility with this set is AMAZING.

It took some time but finally got around to purchasing the lg c9. We wanted to move our Samsung ks8500 to our room and purchase a bigger tv for living room. The Samsung is a great tv but I’d have to say the lg performs better. It has the better software and as a result I find myself using more of the features on this tv. Also even tho it may be a small thing the remote is much easier to use and feels better in my hand. The first show we watched was our planet in 4K from Netflix and The colors jump out at you and it makes you feel like you are right in the action. All in all if you are thinking about purchasing this tv do it

Man this tv is amazing , it’s pricey but well worth every penny. The picture quality will surprise you, the colors and the darkness really brings out the picture in whatever you are watching. The sound is amazing m. Everything about this tv you will love. What I like most is the remote, it has a cursor and you can basically use it like a mouse for a computer. No more pressing the fast forward or the rewind just face the remote anywhere in the room and the tv will pick it up , point where you want the movie skipped and bam hit the okay button . I’m just surprised no other brands have this amazing feature.

This is a beautiful television. The picture is incredibly clear. I will admit, it does run darker, particularly in a lot of Dolby Vision content, but with the right content you are quickly reminded that this is the top tier of TV's. This TV brings a life-like quality to content that I have not seen elsewhere. It's almost three dimensional. The UI is very quick, the remote is easy to use, and the build quality is outstanding. Lastly, it's important to note that this TV has all the requisite features for current and next generation gaming due primarily to the inclusion of 4 HDMI 2.1 ports.
