Customers are pleased with the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and easy setup of the 65" Class C9PUA Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. They appreciate the gaming capabilities and the future-proofing provided by the HDMI 2.1 ports. While some find the remote control difficult to use and the TV expensive, concerns about burn-in and the unattractive design when wall-mounted are also mentioned.

This review is not on the atV itself but on the very poor service I got from BB. Because of this very thin screen, it makes it very delicate. Well the person who loaded this TV laid it down on our truck bed when anything over 55" should be stood upright. This ultimately lead to a crack on the TV and when we tried returning it BB denied it was them. Have not been able to use it, just sitting in our garage. Bunch of waisted money for BS service from BB.

This is my third lg oled, (B6,C8,C9 all 65”) and this set is just absurdly good. All of the issues from past oled’s have been addressed (near black artifacts, motion and brightness). This tv gets brighter, has zero motion artifacts and the near black areas are pristine. In a pitch black room the hdr is searing, and it will genuinely drop your jaw. See it in person, you’ll need to leave with it. I’m usually not an early adopter, preferring to wait for deals, but I just had to have this set day 1. Honestly floored by the quality.

We replaced a Sony LED TV with the OLED. We've been blown away. The colors are so rich and vibrant. Our room is very bright with natural light, but we've not had any issues with the OLED not being bright enough.
The TV is very easy to use and navigate. The setup was very intuitive and simple. The Magic remote takes a little getting used to, but it's a breeze once you're used to it.
We have the TV mounted above our fireplace and the design is awesome! Very slim profile and easy to mount. Overall, we've been very pleased!

Giving this device a bad rating until LG figures out how to make airplay work or stop blocking HBO on this device. I did not pay this much money to have these problems.

We thought it would be too big for our apartment, but the size, picture, quality, SOUND, color -- it was and has been absolutely perfect. It's incredibly easy to connect our apple and android devices, I love the different apps in the app store (fyi you can do YOGA and PILATES in your living room from the app store)! We've had this tv for four years now and it hasn't changed a bit. It's fast, updates when it needs to and runs like it did when we first turned it on. I'm spoiled rotten now whenever I travel because no other tv in a hotel, airbnb, even some friend's places match up to the quality of the LG OLED 4K.
I don't much like a lot of the newer definition TVs because it looks too real or almost like a high-def home video. The realism is too much. This puppy is perfect.

I was looking to replace my old Samsung LED tv from 2010. I was comparing Samsung new TVs with the new LG OLED, and it was a comparison. OLED amazed me with its deep blacks and contrast. I’ve heard the issues with burn in, but decided to go with it, because I’m not a heavy gamer nor do I watch tv all day. Love my new C9, paired it with a Sony sound bar and I’m blown away.

The Best TV Ever Made

I just received this today and hooked it up right away. Be very careful as this TV is extremely thin. Make sure you have help unless Best Buy installed it for you. The picture is simply amazing. I'm running 4k content off of a PS4 using AudioQuest Ocean cables. Make sure you download the THX tune-up app on your phone to calibrate it. This requires a HDMI adapter for your phone. I have all Sony 4k tvs of various sizes throughout the house, but this TV in my man cave blows them all away. I cannot say enough. If you've been waiting, this is your TV!

Great Picture... I only found two faults.

This tv is probably has the best picture I have every seen on a tv. I mounted it on the wall. It weighs about 55 lbs. So, far I have nothing to say bad about the tv except two things. If it was not for them, I would have gave five stars. I did alot of research before buying the tv, and did not find this information anywhere. I installed my wall mount before the tv arrived so I would be ready. When it arrived I found that the power cord is hard wired to the tv. The cord is short. It is about five feet long. It would not reach the floor, and came half way down the wall. Since it is hard wire, you cannot replace it with a longer one. I had to use an extension cord. The second fault that I found was that the mounting holes on the back are not in the center of the tv, but at the bottom. This will raise your tv higher on the wall than planned. I had to reconfigure my mounting bracket, but then my optical cable input on the tv was now blocked by the mounting bracket. In closing, other than the short AC chord and mounting holes, it is a great tv.

My family and I are completely in love with this tv. The picture quality is amazing its so clear and you can see it from any angle in the room. The sound quality is nice we did add a surround system because my husband wanted it louder for his sports games. The picture is so clear you can get lost in the screen and feel like you are really there which is pretty cool especially during a baseball game. It was extremely stressful hanging it on the wall but thats just because we was so scared to drop it or fit the skreen to hard trying to hold it up but we got it hung and its perfect. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

LG OLED 65C9 Breath-taking

Absolutely amazing television, IMO no doubt best money can buy. This is the 2nd Oled I've purchased back to back years. The 55in I bought the year before is still jaw dropping 4K gaming Television in my mancave. We went with this 65in for the family the next year. I doubt I will ever buy a different brand as long as I live. The interface is so simple and truly its a one of a kind system that literally leaves all other brands in the dust. They just keep getting better every single year.

LG OLED BURN-OUT & have a short life span!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I bought a similar model just over a year ago. While it did at first have a great picture, especially with HDR/ Dolby Vision, I was not aware of the huge problem with rapid decay of pixels, either with CNN logos, or with simply using a format that does not completely cover the screen. Sadly, I just notice the other day, that dreaded burn-in aging effect. While I use varying content & devices, including Netflix/MA/Apple TV 4k, Roku/ Cable DVR and more recently "discovered" that the TV itself can do either HD10/ Dolby Vision either via it's App or via my new Apple TV4+.
It seems to be a huge problem with LG OLEDS and they always downplay the effect or trivialize complaints. LG OLED TV's had varied in stating the number of hours that these OLEDs will last without mismatch [range was from 30k to 100k hrs., for a 50% decay].
I called LG's customer service the other day, and they sent me a claim number to file with my pics of the defective screen due to differential use. Pixel reset does not remedy the solution, but I found that the Zoom-in feature can take most banners & logos off a cable/Spectrum channel input. The Zoom-in is a pain and I am missing out on the big picture. Other sources that use a full screen without promoting distortion, such as with movies on an AppleTV4k, may help slow further degradation.
Sadly, the CNN static elements have made a persistent defect in the Red/Magenta elements, so that it will become visible in movies that use reddish tones. The advanced menu allows one to use a Red Filter to make the burn-in quite apparent & negates that former quality picture.
I find that LG's position that they describe on their website is highly misleading. Their so-called test picture is not accurate since the flower pics is on a white background and has different colored flowers.
My estimated use of this LG OLED is likely not more than 2,000 hrs or so. Immediately, before this, I had many top of the line Samsung LCD TV with showed no pixel problem with the same input for 3-5+ years. Some of my relatives still have the original LCD TV's that I bought them for almost a decade...without this problem.
If you do a simple Internet search, you will find lots of problems with LG OLEDs, that they seem to ignore. While ironic, they did give me a case number which started with CNN1909......
I sent out the required screen pics in several different ways. I am afraid to buy another LG OLED TV and will warn others as to this effect.
While I do expect a response from either these reviews or calling them, I sure wish that they would hurry up, since I finally upgraded my Stereo system [top of the line Yamaha receiver] for Dolby Atmos and to be able to pass a 4K HDR signal.
BEWARE OF BURN-IN & short life of these OLED pixels! Some articles also downplay these issues, and are so insulting to anyone who has these problems. Some recommend the inferior QLED type, but I would hesitate to buy from LG again.
I am hoping that LG will do the right thing!

Great image quality, but so so brightness. very sturdy as this is the 6th year I used this tv, it has survived long distance moves. Scratches here and there but didn't impact viewing quality. no burn in detected ever.
