Customers are pleased with the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and easy setup of the 65" Class C9PUA Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. They appreciate the gaming capabilities and the future-proofing provided by the HDMI 2.1 ports. While some find the remote control difficult to use and the TV expensive, concerns about burn-in and the unattractive design when wall-mounted are also mentioned.

Amazing quality. Use this as my primary movie and PS5 tv. It gets a lot of use and has been wonderful. Coupled with a 7.1 surround sound that is.

OMG! I consider myself a TV enthusiast. I have always been on the forefront of TV technology. After years of trying the best that LED had to offer, I finally took the plunge on this OLED. I could not be more happier with my decision. THE PICTURE IS AMAZING!! It may be pricer than other TV's but for me it is more than worth it!

My first OLED and not disappointed. This set is amazing. Great upscaling and terrific with Ultra 4K content. Plenty bright, suburb form factor. Picture is amazing.

Great picture... but...

This LG OLED is pretty great in the picture department. The one caveat there is that the image looks absolutely jaw dropping when it is still. I came to this TV right off a Sony A8F, which has superb image and motion processing. Although the LG does a great job rendering the image, the motion processing isn't on par with Sony. I noticed a lot of judder or skipping on blu-ray and UHD disks. If that sort of thing doesn't bother you, then this will be an excellent TV for you.

People listen. A review is how something performs when it's working! Not a faulty device! Do you realize that there is NOTHING sold that won't have some units that don't work right when you get them out of the box? A good friend one time when I bought a tv that wouldn't work was telling me I should have got the brand he got and how much better it was so I pulled up the reviews on his exact tv and there 19 bad reviews just from tv's that didn't work when the people got them, 19! The point is there is nothing made perfect that is mass produced or otherwise so you better plan on not owning a tv or ANYTHING else! Go ahead, go find a good tv without a, it didn't work when I got it home story. Have fun! By the way I love mine, it is awesome.

The Best OLED For Your Money!

I absolutely LOVE this TV. I've been using the LG 65" 4K UHD for a while now and had no complaints. It was of no surprise that I'd opt for the LG when upgrading to OLED and I am absolutely glad I did. I did a ton of research before buying and I couldn't be happier. My boyfriend who uses strictly Sony products even admits that this OLED is superior when factoring price, specs, and looks.
We are still amazed at the black and other dark colors of the display when we watch Harry Potter; it's all mind-blowing.
Even though we paid about $3000 with tax and protection plan, we don't have buyers remorse. If you're on the fence with this TV and one of its competitors, choose this TV.

This is the best picture quality of any tv I've previously owned. Always amazed when I watch it. Love WebOS, features, multiple settings, remote. Highly recommend, though my overall rating may not reflect this. Here are the reasons for my overall rating, which may only apply to me.
First, I accept that this is a "SmartTV" but it does not include HBO Go which is inexcusable considering LG TVs in Latin American countries do and the LG rep at the Best Buy store told me it did. I have to buy and connect a streaming device to get HBO Go and DirecTV Now. I should not have to at this price point.
Secondly, for those who are first in the OLED TV market (this is my first OLED TV), blacks are black. Because of this, you will loose some detail when watching very dark scenes or dark objects.
Third, after adjusting the sound/speakers through my connected AVR, then switch TV input back to LiveTV, I loose sound though the AVR. It comes back after much fiddling but it is annoying.

Buyer Beware!

I purchased a LG OLED 65C7 in early 2018, and a year and a half later image retention (screen burn in) became very visible. Before this happened I was very happy with an absolutely gorgeous picture. I don't play video games, but I do watch a lot of sports, and those little bars at the bottom or to the sides of the screen caused damage that can not be repaired. Evidently there are apps that you can buy that may be able to scrub the screen, but I'm told that I'd be one of the few lucky ones if it actually worked. The TV only has a one year warranty (which by the way is simply ridiculous for a product that cost almost $3,000 after tax on sale), and according to LG's website they don't cover burn in anyway. The replacement panel alone was going to cost me $2,200, not including labor, and it cost me $250 just to find this out from Best Buy's Geek Squad, (no disrespect to the techs that came over - I truly appreciated their help and consultation). If you just must absolutely have the best picture, my advice is "DO NOT PURCHASE ANY OLED WITHOUT ALSO PURCHASING A FIVE YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY!" In my opinion if you can't afford the extended warranty then you can't afford the TV, and I had to learn this lesson the hard way. Note that while Sony also sells OLED's, they apparently get their panels from LG. It's also notable that I've been told by multiple sources lately that burn in is not an unusual occurrence with LG's, so it wouldn't surprise me if OLED technology goes the way of the plasma.
