I was always weary of OLED televisions because of two words I'd always hear associated with them - burn-in. Sure the picture quality I'd seen in store demos was exciting and some of the best I'd seen, but how would I deal with the though of burn-in always in my mind?
I've decided to accept it as a possible risk and I am very happy so far with my decision. The quality of image this television can re-produce is superb. Black areas of the screen don't have those light gray tinges that some LED and LCD televisions produce. The television has a somewhat easy to use "Magic Remote" that puts a cursor on the screen much like a mouse pointer to help you navigate the WebOS Operating system.
The WebOS feature is functional but does lack some app support that you do get with Samsung or Sony televisions. Also some of the menu and calibration options can be a bit confusing as they use some "buzz" terms coined by LG to describe their functions.
Overall I would recommend this Television. If you're worried about burn-in or image retention it's probably best to look elsewhere or grab a Geek Squad protection plan to help ease your mind. The only cons I have are value as these televisions are quite expensive, but I'll leave that up to you to decide if the entry-fee is personally worth it. For me it was.

Obviously the best TV I've owned. I'm coming from a Samsung Plasma 58" which was very very good, but didn't have 4k. But one of the main reasons I decided to go with this TV is because it was highly recommend by YouTube nerds. If you're a gamer or plan on playing some PS5, Series X, or even hooking up the PC to a big screen, this is it. It's got Nvidia G-Sync with 120hz refresh rate so it's basically like a giant computer monitor. 4 HDMI 2.1 ports as well (which enable the 120hz). There is no better TV for 4k gaming within this price range. This is the one to get. Also, the apps that are integrated and the OS are very fast and work very well. The remote works as a pointer (like a Wii-mote) and there are tons of other features that I don't really use. But it's nice not having to turn on another console or device to watch a streaming service.

I purchased the 65 inch version. The setup was pretty straightforward. Even though the panel is extremely thin, it is heavy so having another person to help setup the TV is highly recommended.
We have it on a TV console - the base is fairly hefty to balance the panel, comes in two pieces and is screwed on.
The setup process is very straightforward. WebOS is easy to navigate and the remote is pointer-style.
Watching content on this panel is amazing, even 1080P content is very good, thanks to the AI upscaler feature. Colors are extremely vibrant and HDR content "pops"
I use this for primarily for Netflix and have an Xbox One S - even on the Xbox One S, the picture looks awesome. I can't wait for the PS5 and Xbox Series X so I can take advantage of the HDMI 2.1 features. All the HDMI ports are 4K 120Hz.
Also, the built-in speakers are decent and have strong output for a panel this thin.

Best looking tv I have ever owned. Great color, perfect blacks, and great interface. I bought this for my Xbox series X and PS5 because it offers every option for gaming. Low latency, 4k @ 120hz, hdr 10, Dolby vision, etc. Only problem I have with it is that I have it mounted directly above my 4k Vizio and the TV and directv controllers operate both TV's #BUMMER!! This tv can also get burned in images from static images like using it for a pc or gaming system and letting it sit for hours on end. I have everything set up to turn off after 10 minutes of inactivity so this shouldn't be an issue. Top of the line TV!!

Picture quality is excellent. Best blacks I’ve seen since my Pioneer Kuro.
Easy to set up. You will need two people to move it due to the size.
PlayStation 5 hooked up to it. Games look amazing on it. No issues with burn in at all. Just don’t leave anything paused for an hour and you’ll be fine. The tv has built in features to prevent burn in. Anyone that says they got burn in had it in torch mode or left something paused for hours without the screensaver.
Great for streaming TV. I use YTTV, Prime, and Netflix. No issues.
Only complaint I’ve had is you can’t get the ESPN app on it yet. Need to stream a game off ACCNx and couldn’t find the app. LG says they want the app but ESPN hasn’t made it available to them.

This is an amazing tv, great picture and amazing modes and settings for gamers and or the movie buff that loves to throw on movies. I recommend Blu-ray for the best experience for the best picture. While burn in is something I’m aware of I’m pretty good about not leaving static images for far to long. I would recommend this tv to anyone looking for a top of the line tv, these oleds are thin like razor thin... best tv I know of with 2.1 hdmi 4K 120 hertz of refresh, quite simply the best way to jump into the future of entertainment, gamers just know your games will look amazing with the new consoles or pc of higher end specs will enjoy everything about this TVs features.

I was one of those people who was skeptical of getting an OLED due to the burn in issues. With features to prevent that, this TV is incredible.
First, the TV is about as thin as a couple sheets of paper. The TV bumps out a bit near the bottom third of the TV, but it's insanely thin outside of that. You seriously won't believe just how thin it is.
Second, let's talk about the picture. I placed this 65" down in a dark basement square room. Ideally, OLED's are best suited for dark contained rooms. The picture on this TV is without question the best picture I have ever seen on a TV. It's not even close to discuss a better picture out there. The deep dark blacks just are beyond comprehension. The insanely wide color gamut punches vibrant and rich colors no matter what is on. If there was an itty bitty complaint on the TV, it would be that the TV doesn't get nearly as bright as some of the QLED's out there. However, if you have this in a basement, it won't matter. If you want the best picture on the market, this is the TV for you.
Third, I bought this TV primarily for gaming. I have a Series X and PS5 on the way and wanted a TV that had 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs which this TV has. I also wanted a 4k/120hz set that could also use VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) at 4k/120hz. There aren't many sets on the market that offer all of those things I just listed. This set has an automatic feature that detects when a game is being played so that the input is modified so that the input lag is set to nearly none. I currently game with an Xbox One X and the colors and picture this TV puts out is absolutely incredible. Another awesome feature is Super HD Color that punches the overall color gamut to never before seen levels. The TV is insanely fast with almost no input lag whatsoever and nearly no motion blurring issues that are present on all other LED's. Super deep blacks paired with incredible color, this TV is literally the best TV to use for gaming and pretty much everything else.
If you want the best, look no further then this panel. It seriously will stun you.

Pros:
Magic remote, Customizable features, Gaming BEAST, beautiful picture
Cons:
Brightness, Auto-darkening feature
This TV does it all. Whether you're looking for a TV to game on, or something watch beautiful looking shows and movies, this is a no-brainer! I'll first start with a PC gamers perspective. If you are looking for an incredibly vibrant, smooth and responsive gaming experience (and you have the cash to spend), this TV will blow you away. I bought a Corsair wireless keyboard and lapboard setup so I can play games with mouse and keyboard and browse the web. I can personally say that even when using a mouse and keyboard, I can't notice ANY input lag on this TV. Coming from an older 4K TV from Vizio, it's a night-and-day difference. I tried to play the Outer Worlds on a controller, and the input lag I got from that thing made it unplayable! Now I can play DOOM on keyboard and mouse and feel like I'm on my 1440P 144hz monitor! It also Is G-Sync and Freesync compatible. It has HDMI 2.1 inputs so I've been desperately trying to get an RTX 3080 to take full advantage of that but that's not happening anytime soon. There is a feature that, as of right now, you can't turn off and I find it to be annoying at times. If the image you're looking at on the screen is dark, the TV will turn the brightness down, making it harder to see. Not sure why LG choose to do this, but hopefully they can patch it or give us the option to turn it off. Watching shows and movies on this is also insane, the presets that come on the TV are very nice, and you can tweak them however you like. You can even make your own motion blur setting! Very cool features. It's also super handy to have a remote that you can just point at the screen instead of using arrows to move around the screen, makes everything faster! To close out this review, this TV is no doubt expensive, but what it provides beats everything on the market right now. I'm glad I bought mine!

Went from a 39” Samsung lcd tv to this 65” LG OLED. My wife wanted no bigger than 55”, but after an in store examination of screen size vs how far away we will be from the tv, she reluctantly agreed that we needed a 65”. But, WOW!! Picture quality difference is huge!! We have this in a 15’ by 20’ Florida room. Double hung windows on 3 walls with no more that 12” of wall between each set of windows, plus two skylights right above the TV. This room gets ALOT of light, and I have had no problems with the picture being washed out. Definitely better brightness than the old Samsung. And the blacks are amazing! Could it be brighter? Yes, but I have no regrets on buying this. In the 5 months we’ve had this LG I have not run into an occasion that the screen wasn’t bright enough to see what I’m watching, and I have zero regrets that I bought this instead of something else. Some comparisons that I have read said that OLED isn’t bright enough for a sunny room, but I have not found that to be true for me.
Sound quality: sound is very good, but I wish it could go louder. However, I do have a slight bit of hearing loss, and no one else seems to mind. Typically, I run it about 50% volume, but on some movies, I’ll turn it up to 80-90%. Not a problem though, and I plan on getting the LG 3.1.2 sound bar system later on.
On screen menu control: this is NOT your normal “press menu choose option 1” type of control. The remote acts like a computer mouse that you point at the screen. Takes some getting used to, and guests will have a problem understanding how to use it. HOWEVER, once you do get used to it, it is faster than the old style remote where you have to look at the screen, then the remote, then the screen…
SCARY UNPACKING AND SET UP; If you haven’t seen this in person, the entire screen is about 1/2 “ thick. There are very special and specific instructions on how to unpack the tv, assemble the stand, and pick up and move the tv. We did it, but in retrospect I wish we would have paid Best Buy to do it. The whole thing is a lot heavier than I thought, and the instructions emphasize that YOU DO NOT SQUEEZE OR PINCH THE SCREEN!! Doing so could break the screen and that is not covered under warranty. There are specific places to put you hands and how you hold the tv.
In all, I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this LG tv.

This is my fourth or fifth 4K TV I think. I tried to replace an 18 month old Vizio P75-F1 with the new Vizio 75" Quantum X for 2021. I'm getting the new Xbox and Playstation so wanted something with the newer HDMI 2.1 and the better gaming options. But the Vizio, while it looked great for bright scenes, looked bad for dark scenes, and it had a lot of other issues with handshaking with equipment like my media center PC, my game consoles, my cable DVR... Not to mention that even Logitech support was unable to get my Harmony Elite remote to switch inputs on it.
So I went to the local Best Buy to check out OLED to see if I'd be happy with a better picture quality, but 10" smaller screen. I loved what I saw, they had the CX OLED right above the same sized Nano 90, both running identical content, so I could easily see the difference OLED made. I ordered the new TV.
I almost don't notice the drop from 75 to 65 because I'm just always too busy admiring the picture. It isn't just that the blacks are BLACK, it's that the colors are all so much more vibrant. I keep watching movies I've JUST watched, so I can see them now on the new, better screen, and I can't even describe just how much BETTER it all looks.
Even something simple and static like the Xbox One X dashboard - looks gorgeous.
I have had ZERO issues with my Logitech Harmony Elite controlling this. And ZERO issues with handshaking any of my hardware. I switch the input and the new source is just THERE.
Plenty of options for people who use a smart TV for the apps. For me, I have a new Fire TV Cube if I want to watch Amazon, I no longer bother with Netflix, so the TV is just a dumb monitor for me. Although I *DO* like the ability to use it like a large Amazon Echo Show to display the various Wyze cameras I have around the house.
Voice control via Alexa works well also.
But then we can discuss video games. New consoles aren't out yet, but things on the Xbox One X (which was able to check EVERY display option with this TV) look amazing still, and the PS4 with Ghost of Tsushima was amazing to play. Great response, no tearing or stutters when spinning around in first person shooters, things just looked deep and smooth...
The downside is that they are pricey - I went from the 75" to this 65" since I didn't want to pay the HUGE price increase to go to the 77" version of this. But as I said, I don't really miss the larger screen since the colors are just so pretty to look at. Every movie seems to have had new life breathed into it since watching them now on this, I'm seeing things I couldn't see prior on the other TV's.
Definitely worth every penny.

This is THE tv to own for top-tier cinematic experiences as well as now current gen gaming on the newest consoles (PS5 and XSX), and it also works very well as a PC monitor if the need or desire is present.
Pros:
OLED tvs are no stranger to perfect black levels and some of the richest color gamuts tvs can pull off, and the LG CX has the added bonus of a higher peak brightness to really show off HDR highlights in films and games; mind you, it's not as high as you would experience in higher quality LED tvs or the newest OLEDS such as the G1 from LG, but things still pop beautifully.
I do not currently have an office and monitor setup, and this tv works wonderfully with my gaming PC (AMD 3800x, RTX 2080Ti), especially enjoying 120fps gaming when using 1440p resolution instead of 4K. Both new consoles perform wonderfully on this tv as well and take full advantage of its feature set between native 4K, 120fps capability, VRR support, and ALLM.
I do recommend following picture settings recommendations from places like Rtings.com or Caleb Denison's great work with Digital Trends, but overall setup and picture tweaking to perfection for me really only took around 30 minutes or the first night I received the tv.
Cons:
This tv sits incredibly low, it should be noted, such that if you're using a soundbar, the soundbar will likely block the bottom 2-3 inches of the screen. I'd recommend finding an appropriate riser of some kind on which to place the tv atop your tv stand unless you're going to wall mount it to resolve this issue.
The stand is deceptively HEAVY and is an odd V-shape in the back of the tv in the center. Total depth from front of tv to the deepest part of the V-shaped base is a hair under 10 inches, so make sure whatever stand you're using has enough depth.
I definitely recommend having a friend or family member present to help you lift the tv onto your stand once assembled, and even viewing some YouTube videos of this process would be recommended for safety's sake, both for yourself and of course the brand new, expensive OLED tv you just purchased.

The picture and sound are excellent. Very simple user interface and I really enjoy the magic remote. The color and motion display are the to things that stand out the most to my eye. Nature documentaries on Netflix are stunning and the upscaling is pretty impressive as well. Gaming is also a big step up, the detail is remarkable and the screen is extremely responsive…no laggy feel in any way. This is a premium product and would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it.

Got this TV a couple of weeks ago and I love it. It’s stunning. Definitely great picture quality while watching shows like Blue Planet II and movies like Bad Boys For Life and 1917. I was debating between this TV and the Samsung Q90 because I had heard that OLED TVs weren't that good in a bright room but so far I haven’t had any problems with reflections or glare in my living room which can get pretty bright. Definitely looks better in the dark though. PS5 runs great on it while playing games like COD Cold War, Warzone, and Spider-Man. The TV even upgrades PS4 title to HDR. I love that you get 120hz refresh rate and HDMI2.1 support on all HDMI ports. Only things stopping me from giving it 5 stars is that I don’t like that the controller is not backlit which really annoys me when I’m watching TV in the dark like you’re supposed to with an OLED TV setup.

I’ve had 3 Samsung LED’s since 2010, so I’ve always been used to a bright screen. It took me afew hours while enjoying the tv to fine tune sdr, hdr, and game hdr but it was worth it. I use standard for sdr, cinema for hdr, and I found that game mode in hdr on some games too dark which another review said he switched to a QLED for this reason. This took me the longest to figure out. Sharpness on max and super resolution will fix the blurriness, while cranking up the brightness(not backlight) will dull colors but increasing the color will rebalance it out, making the picture just as bright but also wayyy better than on a Samsung. Color accuracy and blacks and sharpness after doing this look just as good as regular hdr. So don’t be discouraged by the picture being too dark, a lot of people will recommend settings, but it’s your tv, find what works for you! It can be grainy in sdr, so if you have the cash to buy the 2021 C1 it’s apparently a lot better on graininess and sdr looks closer to hdr with the new processor. But if not it’s still superb. There isn’t dtsx even through Earc pass through, although the tv speakers are good just not much bass. I had to use an optical cable which my soundbar was able to upconvert it to dtsx but would not work for Bluetooth or Earc even to upconvert it so be warned. I’m also in love with the magic remote! Love the wii mote like pointer. Even with some of its downsides I’d still have to give it 5 stars, it’s a suburb tv, and hdr is finally not too dark on Netflix now like it was on Samsung. Very happy with my purchase!

This is my fourth LG Oled currently have 3 other C6Ps from 2016, they are still running perfect no burn in, occasional image retention that fixes itself fairly quickly. Bought this one specifically for my gaming setup, works flawlessly with gsync, freesync, and vrr. Setup for the next gen consoles out of the box. The only draw back I have run into is if you are using the tv as the main connection to your device to be output to a reciever for audio decode on the ARC (Audio Return Channel) it will not pass through DTS, or DTS HD audio to the reciever. This is not a big concern for gaming but is for video playback from XBOx One S or above for ultrahds, and next gen consoles. Currently the only reciever that has VRR support is denon and it severely limits gaming by not allowing 1440p@120hz output from pc or xbox, marantz is releasing a new 8k capable reciever with hdmi 2.1, and so is Onkyo my go to brand. I have yet to test Marantz, but denon is a no go from a gaming persepctive. Versus the c6p it has a much brighter peak brightness, also better handling of black levels, and no visible image retention at all for anything left on screen, even for a moment. If this tv had a 3d option it would replace all my other LG Oleds, but alas 3D is an abandoned technology. I highly recommend this tv.

This is a pricey TV but it's well worth it. The design is very slim and runs excellent with the new gaming consoles like the ps5 with its 2.1 hdmi ports at 120 hz. It looks amazing. The picture looks great whether it be for gaming or watching movies. Although it may not be as bright as some other tvs in the same price range its black levels are true and play movies wonderfully in low light rooms. Even during the day there is very little glare and web os with its matching remote works great but takes some getting used to. Over all I'm very satisfied. The only thing that did not like about this TV was setting up the stand it came with. There are no instructions and if you only put the back part on the TV will tip forward. I had to look up online how to put the stand together so that it wouldn't do that. As it turned out there was 1 more piece that connects to the base but its hard to know that because there were no instructions for it and how to connect that. Other than that once I got the tv standing it has been an amazing experience to see everything this TV had to offer.

I originally bought the Samsung Q80T, however, it came damaged so I had to upgrade to the LG. I am very glad I bought this TV. The colors are very crisp, there is a lot of options for apps, very easy to use, and perfect for gaming. I needed to buy a TV with HDMI 2.1 to run my PS5 at its highest refresh rate and this TV delivers. It’s also very nice that all (4) HDMI ports are 2.1.

What else can one say other than this OLED is amazing?!
Let's start with the low hanging fruit, picture quality. OLED is considered the best for good reason. I upgraded to this TV from an LED and gone are the days of white text on a black background causing the whole screen to turn a shade of dark grey. The contrast differences and overall image quality are fantastic. I also appreciate that this TV displays a logo in the top-right to let you know when the content you are watching is HDR or Dolby, cool feature!
Other than the picture quality, what I actually love the most is WebOS over Android TV. Android TV is cumbersome and has really slow response times. On my previous TV, if I wanted to adjust a picture setting, it would honestly sometimes take up to 10 seconds for the menu to load. On WebOS, it is instant.
The only aspect of the TV that leaves something to be desired is sound. Even with AI sound on, it's just okay. As with most TV's, if you really want great sound quality, you'll want to invest in some external speakers anyways.
I could go on an on about why this TV is great; I didn't even write about all the great gaming features included. The bottom line is, if you want an OLED, and don't want to spend $$$$ on the new models coming out, you will be very pleased with this purchase!
