Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is great. Best picture quality. Perfect blacks that OLED screens are known for. Four HDMI 2.1 inputs all supporting 4K HDR at up to 120 hz. Add in ALL and VRR and this is the best TV you can buy for the upcoming next generation PS5 and Xbox Series X gaming consoles. Better even than the Sony TVs advertised as “Ready for PS5”. I added in a matching LG 3.1 sound bar. Only word of caution is that the glass is glossy and a little more reflective than my old TV, so I now prefer to close the blinds behind me when watching during the day. Not really a problem. I have this 65 inch model in my living room. I’m now trying to figure out how to bring home the new and more affordable 48 inch model for my smaller family room without getting in trouble.

LG CX OLED is the TV to get!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would say to anyone reading this, this is the TV to buy. It is very true, if you haven’t heard the saying “once you go OLED you won’t go back” I can attest to that. I love this TV. Everything about it. Best for next gen consoles, super thin, superb image quality, the absolute richest blacks and the images in HDR are so superb. I am extremely happy with this purchase, it has me looking to buy the even larger size as well. When I see people looking at this tv I want to tell them get it “get it” you will not be disappointed. Best picture for the price, bar none. You can’t go wrong. I never owned an LG or OLED before, all I can say is “get it” if you can. You will be extremely happy that you did.

Best of 2020
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down, best TV of 2020. Picture Quality is astounding. clarity and vibrancy of color and contrast is such a leap. LG has knocked it out of the ball park in terms of tech and modern styling. Supports everything you could need for the next 10 years. The form factor is worryingly paper thin yet it is sleek and modern. I would say this is the TV to beat for the next decade to come. Web OS is fast, smooth, and intuitive. Dolby Content is the cherry on top. Very little calibrating, mostly left everything on default, for Cinema watcher, Filmmaker mode removes all the extra processing and fluff. For people who wants to watch films in the way as they were intended. This TV is truly a film watchers TV.

No Going Back from Pixel-Off Black
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wife finally gave the green light. Bought the OLED, she says she sees a difference but not sure it's worth $2k. Me (with terrible night blindness) yeah you might be right, let's just get a mid-tier something, anything new would be better than this old Bravia. Returned, bought $1k Samsung, setup, after a couple hours wife says yeah this sucks, go get the OLED back. "Gladly dear" I even bought the same one I'd returned still behind the Geek desk. Never a peep about picture quality again. If you think YOU are a big Nightmare Before Christmas fan, wait til you see it on this TV! SUCKS that there's no HBO app but Airplay works so good with this TV that limited app selection isn't even an issue. Another issue worth noting: this may be a random issue with all modern TVs for all I know, but some random scenes of some random shows like to mis-decode HDR. Seems to be most common with artificially haze-saturated scenes (think sun-filled room with reveries and diffusion) and scenes with prominent shiny black patches (there's a scene in Schitt's Creek where the two guys are hiking and one gets hurt while wearing a unique fuzzy black shirt, OLED didn't know what to do with that partly-sunny/partly-shaded sparkly deep-black shirt). This is a worthy tradeoff imo since every other TV has much worse decoding and processing flaws and more often. Gaming with a PS4 pro is flawless, definitely able to react faster while tracking movement in an FPS. I get a more noticeable audio/video misalignment with this TV than others I've had. This seems to depend heavily on which app is being used (Prime is the worst offender) and it may be partially due to the ARC connection to a low/mid-tier Sony receiver (bought to match previous Bravia, communicates with LG OLED flawlessly btw), but there is an adjustment with a more than adequate range to find the right timing. The wide range actually makes it a bit difficult to get the sync perfect because it's hard to tell the difference between a little ahead or a little behind but as long as LG gives me the power to decide for myself, I am completely content. Also, the magic remote works way better now than it did 9 years ago, easy to get spoiled with it now. Been wanting an LG OLED for years, finally did it, even better than I thought it would be, highly recommend!

Great TV for the next-gen consoles
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.---Pros (in no particular order): 1. Future-proof(?) HDMI 2.1 and most of its features. 2. Big screen - I upgraded from 55' and the difference is stunning. 3. Benefits of OLED (deeper blacks, etc). 4. REALLY thin and beautiful (but unboxing it can be scary). 5. You're getting it from the one company that makes every OLED TV panel. 6. Immersive sound experience. 7. Every HDMI port is treated equally so you don't have to carefully arrange your connections. ---Cons (in no particular order): 1. Cursor comes on screen even if you slightly touch the remote. 2. Lack of picture fine tuning in the settings. 3. My image got cut-off slightly when projecting from a PC (doesn't affect gameplay, but I can't tell which apps are currently open from the desktop taskbar) 4. Potential burn-in (haven't experienced this yet, will update) 5. The controversial downgrades from C9

Best OLED TV
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's expensive BUT worth it! Those blacks are pretty amazing! Screen can be reflective across from a bright window during the day but no complaints at night. Tons of features and apps. It uses its own plug for power, not a universal. I use it on stand and not mounted and it is pretty low. My soundbar blocks the IR receiver. Magic remote only needs it to turn on, everything else works flawlessly. It does not play nicely with my Vizio soundbar. It sometimes disconnects just tv is paused for like 10-15 mins. I really love the tv, its thin and the picture is amazing! Its a spectacular machine! It beats VIZIO and other OLED tvs. (LG makes all the screens).

Outstanding TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a pro photographer who was once color blind, color and detail are very important to me. I compared multiple best selling brands and this tv delivers outstand color, blacks, contast consistently in any viewing conditions from any angle. Further, it gives you multiple setting options so you can tailor to your specific tastes to give you a true cinema feel with rich sound, or high definition. I love that unlike other brands there is effective anti burn in protection built in which factory resets the led pixels. Hi definition movies or blu ray are a delight to watch and rfresh rate provide ultra smooth motion and no blur. Cant wait to watch classics How the West Was Won and LeMans

Great 2020 TV
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is the best looking TV I’ve ever personally viewed. The contrast has to be seen to be believed. It is constantly updated still with new features, and can handle any movie/game format you can throw at it, including Dolby Vision 4K/120 gaming, on all 4 HDMI 2.1 ports. The only downsides are that it isn’t the brightest TV, so I wouldn’t recommend it in a sun room, but it cannot be noticeably beat at night, and lack of DTS sound support. However, with a good enough receiver and external streamer, this shouldn’t matter.

She's a BEAUT!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I abuse this TV(not intentionally) but it's definitely better than the last OLED series. My last started developing spots. I've had this one since release. It's now Nov 2023 and as many times as I've left this on accidentally, this OLED IS STILL FLAWLESS. Colors still fresh and vibrant and the gaming on this TV is beautiful. No pixelated glitches when moving fast on any console[Switch, Series X, PS5]. Highly recommend. Also I returned the sound bar that I bought with it, it was not needed after I heard the TV alone.

OLED is the new standard!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve loved OLED for 4 years and always gravitated to them on the electronics floor, but the cost kept me from getting one. They have finally come down to a reasonable cost and I got this tv on sale. The display is absolutely gorgeous with deep blacks, great contrast and it’s capable of 4K 120hz if you buy the correct hdmi cable. I use this as a PC monitor for my RTX3080 and the visuals art truly next generation. I was hesitant to go with LG since I’ve had bad experiences with LG products in the past. However, they are the go-to for OLED. I will say the OS is snappy and I have zero complaints with build quality and software. If you have the funds, I recommend this tv.

Antar and Arnie
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Antar and Arnie knew everything about TVs. I had so many questions about HDMI 2.1, 120hz, Freesync, Freesync Premium etc. They broke it down for me and I got the best tv for my new PS5. The LG OLED 65” is absolutely great! Without their help I would’ve gotten the tv that wouldn’t take advantage of my new console. Those 2 are amazing and I cannot say enough thanks. I actually came back about 2 weeks later and got my son a Samsung 55” Q80T because of their great input. Those are the type of individuals you want working in your store. Thanks Antar and Arnie, I appreciate you guys so much. My son and I are enjoying our PS5s on our brand new TVs!

One of the absolute best available!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not only does this TV check all of the boxes as a TV, it also checks all the boxes for an immensely impressive monitor when hooked up to a PC. I haven't been able to get my hands on either of the new nVidia cards yet, but even with an RTX 2080 this things looks unbelievable in games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider and AC: Odyssey. HDR is absolutely insane with OLED and creates a gaming experience that I never even knew I wanted. Throw official g-sync support on top of that and the ability to do 120hz at 4K with HDR (if you're lucky enough to get an RTX3080/3090) and you have just about the most impressive display you can ask for. 10/10 AMAZING!!!

Love It
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic TV! The picture quality is the best I've ever encountered, especially with HDR content. I really like the remote with the pointer on the screen also - it sure beats clicking up/down/left/right! The smart features and various settings were new to me - previous TVs are Samsung and Sony - but they were easy enough to get familiar with. This was a fairly impulsive buy for me - a combination of keeping up with my son's TV and COVID-related boredom. That said, I don't have any regrets about it because the TV is so great. The only less than optimum thing right now is no native HBO app - need to use a Chromecast for that.

Best TV in the world!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this TV. I drive the family insane tweaking the setting for every input and source format. But I just love how perfect everything looks! Perfect companion to the XBox Series X, of course, but it's also a show-watching monster! So many accolades: -HDR looks amazing on those oh-so-inky-blacks -webOS is great on the TV. Remember the HP TouchPad firesale? Glad something good came from the operating system! - Burn-in schmurn-in. Best Buy warranty covers that! - LG provided frequently updates, even to older model like CX. Keeps it cutting edge!

LG 65” CX OLED - Wow!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had seen and heard great reviews for this unit, did some research and found the right opportunity to make the purchase. Now I’m seeing it in my home and It is much better than I expected. This is an amazing system. Picture is beautiful, crisp, clear and the true black for nighttime or dark scenery is incredible. Setup and connection to A/V gear and other devices was a breeze. Settings are simple and easy to access, WebOS is slick, easy to navigate and intuitive. Remote control is well done...could be better only if backlit. I am so excited and very happy with this purchase.

Best TV out there
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent oled tv! I have put about 1500 hours on the panel and can't praise it enough. Matches up pretty nicely w/ my PS5 and it's able to handle the 120hz rate smoothly. Also, LG is constantly updating the OS so they do support their products pretty well. My only complaint would be the speaker sound quality, it's just ok. Not a big deal but WebOS does support HBOMax due to some legal issue between LG and HBO but the other major streaming services are available. 0 burn in, 0 dead pixels.

From a sony to an LG tv guy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is amazing! I bought this for the 2.1 HDMI feature to go with my new PS5. This is the right tv! The remote has a nice computer like mouse movement and click. It has an art gallery screen saver mode that is really cool. They said it would be best in a dark room but mine is wall mounted in a room full of windows with blinds only and I never have trouble seeing the picture. The tv speakers are nice. Very clear and there is a lot of bass. Sometimes almost to much. If I had to pick again i'd go with the same tv.

Send it!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited until this went on sale 1850. Was watching for about 4 months. Lives up to expectations. Coming from a sharp 60” 1080 really blew me away. Can’t wait for ps5. I think I’ve seen some hdr content and it’s mind blowing. Love the magic remote. Love the functionality. Got rid of my Apple TV and don’t need ps to run all my favorite apps. I have a Sony soundbar and may not even use it. Screen is ultra thin. Adjust well for my darker living room. I’m the kind of person who stares at reviews and I have no regrets.

DO IT!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well folks, I have to say. This is by far the best tv I have purchased yet. Now I get it, technology regarding tvs get better and better as the years go by just like with any other kind of technology. I had been eyeing this bad boy for quite some time, more the 77 inch version but I had to be realistic in regards to my finances. Then this went on sale, and I was pacing the best buy for quite some time and finally pulled the trigger on it. The picture on it is fantastic, of course when you watch a 4k movie or show. Now for us gamers, this tv is what you need for clear color popping and crisp images, along with lag free gaming. There's still details that I am finding out that makes just a little bit better. I play my PS5 on it so I can only comment on that type of quality. The other thing that blew me away a bit was the sound quality of this tv. Most tvs these days you expect the quality of sound to be ehh. Shoot I was even looking at sound bars and a surround sound system when I purchased this tv. But when I got home and started to watch tv and game on this, the sound is actually pretty impressive coming from a oled tv, but it also depends on what service your using for entertainment. I stream hulu, amazon prime and Netflix, and sound varies from each service depending on the quality of audio they produce overall. Now I am not saying it replaces a surround sound system but I can definitely bypass getting a sound bar. You can hear dialogue quite will and what surprised me is that it has a nice bass sound to it which I think steps up the sound quality a lot for this tv. Overall, I am completely satisfied with this tv and do not regret my purchase. I hear the new models are coming out, so if your thinking about purchasing this tv DO IT!!! While it's on sale! Supposedly the new models won't be as expensive as last year's model but you don't want to wait on that. Great picture Great sound Great for gaming.
