Customers love the LG 65" Class CX Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2020) for its exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and smooth gaming experience. They appreciate the easy setup, thin design, and user-friendly remote control. While some find it expensive, many believe it's worth the investment. Picture quality is worth the extra money for this OLED TV. Contrast and richness of this OLED made my previous TV (Samsung LCD) look relatively flat. As well, the colors are beautiful and adds a little more pop to the screen. I paired this TV with the Bose Sound Bar 700 (Geek Squad installed) and it also sounds amazing! Also purchased the extended warranties due to the expensive price but no regrets so far. Highly, highly recommend !!!

We replaced a five year old Sharp LED TV with this LG OLED. The difference in picture quality between the two is amazing. The true blacks on this TV are really what make it so great. We also enjoy the point and click function on the remote and the built in apps. This was one of the cheaper OLEDs we could find, but I don't think you sacrifice any quality by going with this lower priced option.

I've had my eyes on OLED for years and always told myself I'd take the plunge when they dropped below two grand. Well, this excellent display fell below that price and I pulled the trigger. I'm very satisfied with the display which sports 4K @120hz and has four HDMI 2.1 ports. Additionally, this display supports Variable Refresh Rate which makes it an excellent TV for gaming. Pairs perfectly with my Series X.

I never thought I’d see TV technology advance to the point where it literally looks like you’re looking through a window into another world. This picture is absolutely breath taking when watching 4K HDR content. Perfect blacks and colors that just absolutely pop off the screen. I’m also a huge gamer and there is not a better TV for gaming. Almost instant response time and fantastic refresh rate. Best TV on the market PERIOD!

Beautiful TV, easy to start up and link media platforms. Picture is superb. Even better with high quality audio (e.g. Sonos Arc, Sub, SL’s). Easy to set up devices like gaming consoles and DVD players via hdmi. Highly recommend watching some YouTube set up videos to learn about all the TV’s features and how to fine tune the picture quality. Hope to keep this product for quite some time.

Picture is crystal clear and the contrast is perfect. I prefer my picture to be darker and this hits the nail on the head. Packed with features, including Apple HomeKit support, which allows for many different connectivity and scene options. Also pairs nicely with Xbox Series X as it has multiple HDMI 2.1 ports as you’d expect from a mid-high tier consumer tv that’s a year old.

This tv is a beast the colors pop and playing games on this tv was qorth the money this tv is basixally plug and play. The only downside is the quality outside the box is average. You need to actually go in and change the settings to get a great picture and if your not skillfull at knowing tvs and colors its going to take you some time other than that its an awsome tv meant for gaming

Great picture for everything except sports. I'm coming from a 10 year old Samsung 55" plasma that handled sports perfectly. I bought this TV because I wanted a bigger TV and because it is supposedly state of the art, not because my Samsung plasm ever let me down because after 10 years it is still going strong - my folks will like it. My wife and I agree that after watching this TV for 2 weeks, the picture is great for our network-Spectrum cable box, netflix, prime and disney shows. The blacks are pitch black, colors are dynamic. Disney pixar films, especially Toy Story on Disney plus for the grandkids looks almost 3D and really pops out of the screen. Works well with my LG Soundbar, sub and satellites too. So very happy for the most part. Other features I like are the Webos remote - easy to operate, and makes for quicker adjustments than a normal remote. I also enjoy the center stand (as opposed to the feet), the number and variety of inputs and outputs on the TV. I'm a bit of a tinkerer, so it's great having a multitude of picture and sound adjustments and the fact that each picture mode from standard to cinema to sports to games retains the settings within that mode and does not apply them across the board to all modes - very smart TV. The apps work great and I had no problems setting up this TV. The reason for the 4 stars is the poor motion handling of this TV watching sports. I watch a fair amount of NFL, basketball, baseball and any sport that interest me at the time it's on. This TV pixelates and blurs with rapid movement, and with the sports ticker running across the bottom of the screen - clear one moment, blurry the next and then quickly corrects itself - sorta like it can't keep up but then catches up - however, this repeats over and over. I spent a couple hours yesterday googling different recommended settings on a CX65 to try and reduce the blurring and pixelation while watching sports - everything from Trumotion on and off, to different dejudder and deblur settings to trying to smooth and a bunch of other settings. Really everything multiple sources talked about in terms of settings for sports and reducing pixelation and blurring. Most telling was in general, my finding that actually lot of LG OLED owners complain about sports on this TV, so I'm not alone. Funny, because you'd think as technology advances, such issues would be avoided. I never had trouble watching sports on my Samsung Plasma - none. I guess it's something I'll live with because the other features of the TV sort of even things out.

Just gonna make it short... this is the best OLED TV LG CX ever made right, LG listen to what we the majority had said and they made it right and correct what was wrong... Don't let the word "BURN IN" fear you at all, had this TV for the past months on it for 10+ hours a day from my kids doing their home school work to watching movies and me playing video games.. this is by far the best 4k picture quality and HDR contents, this will blow you away... checkout the the picture attached with playing on PS4 PRO maxed at 4k HDR game mode at 60hrz super amazing...best HDMI 2.1 SUPPORT.

Best TV I've ever had. It took a little getting used to as far as all the settings and the hdr and sometimes intense brightness, but once I acclimated, its been a wild ride. Everything looks so crisp and beautiful. Playing games at 120hz and 4K is just another experience entirely. If you can afford it and have a powerful computer/console, you wont regret it.

Best TV and sound system i have found. I opted for the last year model and got the LG soundbar and sub with it for the same price as the newer model. Newer Model did look a little bit better in picture quality, but this one is still more than what I could ask for in terms of gaming, and movies. apps are very easy to use and comes with a fancy wand remote too.

BB - floor rep helped us with this purchased. Educated us about the differences in the TVs and helped us make a decision on this one. This is the best TV we have ever had picture quality is excellent, sound is excellent as well. The colors are sharp and it very easy to use. Several online ratings have given this a high rating compared to the others. It's so thin it crazy.

Love this TV! The picture is amazing, especially in low light. It can reflect glare in a well-lit room. The design is sleek, the remote is easy to use, and the size is perfect. We are mostly impressed with the color and sharpness of the picture. The color black is VERY black! We were also happy with Best Buy's installation & set up and their price match policy.

Background (skip to BOTTOM LINE for fast breakdown). I was coming from a 2008 55" Panasonic Plasma that was sitting in a bright living room with two sunlights, and a ton of windows. I was deciding between the Samsung QN90A vs. this LG CX. Here is my review breakdown: PROs: + Perfect contrast ratio: but you already knew that. In broad daylight, is it still tough to see some things in dark scenes? A little, and the reflection is noticeable. But it's worlds better than the plasma and as soon as the sun sets, all memory of daylight viewing is forgotten and OLED remains king over QLED. MiniLED is still not affordable, so nighttime dark viewing is undisputedly going to be better on an OLED. Dark scenes melt in the background and images appear to be floating in a sea of black, and it's just beautiful. + 4 HDMI ports all 4k120hz: no explanation needed really. If you're a gamer, you know. If you're not, just know that these are the best HDMI ports available right now and if you're spending this much, it's nice to know you have the best. + Thin bezel: I only point this out because the bezel of my plasma was 2.5 inches. You heard that right. 2.5....INCHES. Not millimeters or centimeters. The bezel on this thing is a centimeter or two. You almost don't even notice it. + Quick and easy SOFTWARE setup: after your tv is physically set up (more on that later), and you finally are ready to turn it on and watch something, the opening walkthrough to set up your tv is very user friendly and super easy. Connected to my wifi network flawlessly, and was able to customize all the normal things I wanted right from the get-go. Thanks for making that simple LG! + Sound: Though there will never be any replacement for a soundbar or a dedicated surround sound system, not everyone has the budget or the space for those. If you're one of those people, or if you're like me and just are too lazy to turn on the surround system sometimes, this tv sounds AMAZING for a tv. Deep and noticeable low-end, clear vocals, good mids, and not too much distortion on highs even at super-high volumes (like 60+ level from 1-100). I actually watch most of my content just using the TV speakers and I'm totally fine with it. + WebOS: I know it is now out of date because of the webOS on the C1. But I have a friend with the C1, and I gotta say, I like the CX webOS so much more than the C1. I love the "taskbar" view more than the entire page being taken up. In other words, I can pick and choose another app to use, while still watching whatever current app I'm using. On the C1, the second you press the home button on the remote, you're immediately taken to a fullscreen homepage that stops your content. There are other quirks and things I like more on the CX, but the C1 does have a few new additional features like the dedicated game mode and whatnot. If you want a full breakdown of the webOS differences, I suggest watching a youtube video about it. Otherwise, just know that one is outdated but very GOOD and the other is the new current one, and in my opinion, a backward step in overall UI implementation. + Overall design: This TV looks beautiful. The stand with the brushed metal, the thin profile. Just looks good. + Picture quality: In this day in age, you'll be hard-pressed to find a flagship TV from any manufacturer that DOESN'T look good. But as my title states, how exactly the TV looks will depend on what you're willing to do with it. I'll expand on this later in the "CONs" section, even though it's not really a con. The picture quality is basically perfect in my opinion, but I made it look the exact way I wanted to. And that's because.......... + An abundance of settings: If you're a tinkerer, there is no shortage of how you get tweak this TV to look exactly the way you want and do exactly what you want it to do. If you like it super bright with no soap opera effect? Done. Want super vivid colors with a little more motion blur? Sure. Want a more muted profile with realistic looks? You got it. But all of that comes at the cost of knowing what to do. Again, more on this later... CONs: **note** these are NOT actual BAD things about this TV. These are more CONcerns that you need to know about, rather than just an actual CON as in "pros vs cons". These are things that some people may like, some people may dislike, and some people may want to return the TV altogether because they hate it. - The remote: the one thing that the C1 line is better at than the CX is their remote. LG got the C1 remote down almost perfectly, and that's because they addressed nearly all the problems with the CX remote. The scroll wheel is a little TOO sensitive, in that when you're just trying to click on something using the pointer (which I love btw, the pointer is super helpful), you might scroll and change the option you're selecting altogether. It can get frustrating. The remote has a curved bottom so it can't sit still on an armrest of a remote. So we drop it....a lot. Both of these issues are fixed on the C1 remote. However, the C1 remote lacks a play/pause button, while the CX does have it. I don't use it (because pressing the scroll wheel does the same thing, but again with the sensitivity problem, you may prefer to use the actual play/pause button). Overall, the remote isn't that great. I do prefer the C1 remote. But the glossy plastic on both of them should just be done away with. If you know the X1 remote from Xfinity, that's the best remote on the market in my opinion. The soft-touch finish, the motion backlight (neither the C1 nor CX remote is backlit), and the great voice remote responsiveness. The LG remote is pretty poor at voice recognition, and I never use it. It was so good on the X1 remote that I sometimes used it. - Initial physical set: because the TV is so thin, you must be EXTREMELY careful when setting it up. The TV can flex really easily and that can cause screen damage. I would've been okay with sacrificing a little of the "thinness" to add some reinforcement to the screen to avoid the flex. The TV stand itself is very wide and heavy. The cable management is pretty bad and is only really good for the power cable + 1 HDMI cable. I don't bother using it. Mounting this TV can be a real pain. Make sure you have everything plugged in (or set up to be plugged) before mounting it, because the I/O is back-facing rather than downfacing, making it very difficult to plug things in if it's mounted. The power cable is only 5 ft long. Too short in my opinion. Overall, I had to look up a youtube video on how to set this thing up in the safest manner. The fact there's nothing in the instructions on how to do it in the safest manner is disappointing. For those who don't want to look it up: use the box and styrofoam to set the TV face down while attaching the stand. Do NOT grab the screen panel itself. As much as you can, only grab the thicker rear part of the TV or the stand. - An abundance of settings: how is this a CON if it's also a PRO? Well, it depends on the type of user you are. I'm a tinkerer. I love that there are a hundred different settings and ways to customize the TV. For others, they just want to set up the tv, plug it in, and watch it right away. I understand that. But if you judge how the TV looks right out of the box and don't do ANY settings changes, you may not like how it looks. That's not to say the TV is terrible right out of the box. It just may not look good for your particular situation. There is no shortage of videos on youtube of how to optimize your settings. All I will say is that please do keep an open mind. Try tweaking your settings a little and see if you can get the picture to look more pleasing to YOUR eye. There is no "ideal settings" package. Everyone's setup is different, and your settings will be different than mine. Please, oh please, DO NOT BUY "SETTINGS PACKS" that scammers try to sell you. In my research of this TV, I came across a host of people saying their settings are the best and if you want the settings they use, you have to buy them off of them. Pay someone else to tell you to set the OLED brightness to 85 max, and turn overall brightness to 60??? No way. And that's just an example (but it is what I use.....so PAY UP lol), but there are literally people who pay for that. Please please please don't do that. Just play around with your settings and see what you like the best. The most ideal settings are the settings that YOU like. Not settings that some youtube idiot tells you to like. - Wireless works better than wired: This isn't really a con because I actually prefer to use it on wireless because that's one less cable to worry about. But for others, they might think "how is that possible??" Well, the ethernet port on this tv is NOT gigabit. Unfortunately. For a TV of this price, you'd think that would be a standard, but unfortunately, it is not. So long as you have a strong and reliable wifi network, this shouldn't be a problem. But when I tested wired vs wireless, apps buffered and stuttered WAY more on the wired network. No explanation. Your results may vary, but it is something I experienced and that I have heard that other people also commonly notice. - Panel lottery: you may win. you may lose. screen uniformity varies from panel to panel. Please research this and if you notice bad parts of your panel. BOTTOM LINE: If you're debating between a 55" C1 or a 65" CX, save some money and get the bigger size. No shame in the "outdated model" as this was a flagship only a year ago and is still a fantastic TV. But QLED or OLED???? If you just want brightness and blinding HDR, get the QLED and blind yourself to your heart's content. But if you want those perfect blacks and that unmatched contract ratio for nighttime viewing that is an EXPERIENCE in itself, do yourself a favor and go OLED. 10/10 TV. I love it.

I love this TV so much I don't know where to start. I have a PlayStation 5 and it works fantastically with the TV. I play a lot of sport games and first-person shooters and see only greatness on the screen. How the colors really blow me away and the ease of changing between game mode and cinema mode. This TV has a lot going for it. The quality of the picture and its ability to handle fast motion scenes is top notch. Pretty much right out of the box, but there are plenty of settings to tweek if you want things to look just to your liking. Gaming is amazing on this TV. PS5 and Switch games look about as good as they can, and input lag is seemingly nonexistent. Smart features work well, but honestly could be a little better. Apps crash every now and then, and LGs app store doesn't have HBO MAX, which is disappointing. The remote is great. Has a pointer and voice control, both of which work very well. I also like the fact it works with seemingly all devices. From the PS5 to Bluray player, the remote automatically works on these devices. I've had a few hiccups with HDMI inputs changing on their own(mostly PS4/5 seems to confuse the TV at times), apps crashing, and the TV freezing, but a quick reboot(either holding the power button or unplugging the TV for a few minutes) resolves the issue. Haven't had any issues with screen burn, dead pixels, or anything like that in the 6 months I've had this TV. There is no 100% perfect TV, but this is pretty close. Very happy with my purchase!

I waited and skipped buying a new TV during Black Friday because I wanted to invest my money into a TV that has pretty much all the bells and whistles. I saw this TV in January at CES. I could not wait until May to buy the 48 inch so I ended up getting the 65 inch. My only regret is not being able to get my hands on the 77 inch. TV is the best picture I've seen on any 4K. The sound is much better than other TVs. If you are just playing video games or watching TV channels the sound is good, has some thump in the bass, but if you want to watch movies I suggest investing in a good sound bar. Other than that no complaints! I love this tv so much I might end up buying the 55 inch for another room. It's just that good! Bring on PS5 and the new XBOX! I'm ready! Just some advice. Make sure you have two people when you lift this TV. The panel is thinner than my cell phone and I think the panel could easily snap if someone pulled on it. The screen is thinner than my cell phone. All the weight of the tv is at the base stand that you have to connect to the TV. Some of the screws were a pain to simply just screw in with a screwdriver. They could easily strip if you are not careful. My TV did not come with a guide at all for the features. I think it may be in the TV's menu? I've had it for a week. So far very happy with the purchase. You get what you pay for.

When my 2013 LG Plasma TV died this past April, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what type TV set to buy - LED or OLED. I went to Best Buy several times to browse around and look at the different models under $1,500. After reading various reviews on the LG 65" NANO 90, I purchased it and was happy with my decision. I was informed that my delivery date for setup, etc would take two weeks. During this wait time, I started looking at the best Oled 65" smart TVs and came across the reviews on the LG CX OLED 65" Smart TV and was blown away not only by its exceptional quality but also its cost. No worry, I had purchased the LG NANO 90. A funny thing happened on the delivery date- it wasn't delivered because the driver had the wrong address but didn't call me. So this pushed the delivery date back anoyher week. This turned out to be a blessing as I went back to Best Buy and upgraded to the LG CX OLED 65" SMART TV. This is the best TV I've ever purchased! The outstanding picure quality and sounds that go with the picture quality is extraordinary. The magic remote is great after you get used to its various functions. I'm so glad I got over the cost - sometimes it's just worth it to pay more.

First things first, this is the second largest in the CX class. The next is 75, but I feel the 65 is the perfect fit to most rooms. OK, the visual quality is stunningly vivid, sharp, clean, crisp, and fluid. The OLED used in the panel is by far the best I have ever encountered and I have seen MANY! The OLED is BRIGHT, very bright, very, very bright, and that is rare to see in OLED panels. usually they run dimmer. 120hz refresh, G-Sync ready for gaming on NVidia cards, and the WEB OS is a treat to use. It is quick, responsive, and simple. The panel is unbelievably thin. I highly suggest an external sound source be used with this TV. While the on board is loud, it doesn't have the depth and breadth expected from such a beautiful TV. LG really knocked it out of the park. I'm not the only one raving about this screen. The CX is ranked THE BEST OLED of 2020- (early 2021) NOTE: IF YOU ARE HANGING THIS HAVE 3-4 PEOPLE. While it is light, it is thin, very thin, and could pose an issue if being hung in a conventional manner; meaning one person on each side. Doing so could be risky and result in bending the screen or worse. I had 3 people during this hanging and used suction cups on the rear to help stabilize.
