Great TV!!! Going from a TCL 55" P605 which still works well but wanted a tv with less or no black crush, hdmi 2.1, and a larger size (65"). I looked at the Q90T and this one. With four 2.1 hdmi ports, I knew it was more future proof than the Q90T (one 2.1 port). Watching comparisons, I seen the starfield test was much better on the CX. Q90T still had led black crush issues. I feel very good about my purchase. My main worry was the burn in but I purchased a 5 year GSP warranty for peace of mine. It was certainly pricey but I look to keep this guy for 5 years. I imagine I'll want new tv technologies after that point. I miss my Roku OS but the webOS is growing on me. It's not too bad. I wish I could change the simple stuff like the wall paper and screensaver but I understand, it's probably a safety measure for the burn in. Haven't had much luck with Alexa tying in properly but not a biggy. Just be sure to play with the settings for all modes. I like the cinema mode and the motion set as user so I can change judder to two. That seems to help quite a bit without having the soap opera effect. Cyber Punk 2077 looks ridiculously good on this TV. Eventually I'll have the PS5 and maybe Series X. I know I'll be good with all the 2.1 HMDI ports.

Beautiful picture, color, brightness level uniformity, black levels, are fantastic, I’m still getting familiar with the OS. Have been a Samsung fan for many years but this OLED surpasses the LEDs I own, as to be expected. Can’t speak to use over time, my Samsung’s have been trouble free, I hope to get the same from this unit.

Words can't describe how amazing this TV is until you experience it for yourself. The picture is just breath-taking and the built in speakers are amazing! I would still recommend a nice sound bar though, to enhance the entertainment experience. When you watch content that is in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos it bumps it up a notch. The picture looks like a window of real life you can stick your hand into and go through a portal or something. Tiny Creatures on Netflix made my cat want to jump into the TV and chase the kangaroo mouse! Dolby Atmos makes it sound like someone is knocking on YOUR front door in the living room when its actually happening on your TV. Or it will sound like your hearing noises from out your window but its coming from the TV. Its absolutely wild! The Smart Web OS is very fast and easy to use my only gripe is its missing HBO MAX unless they are going to add it later? This TV was built for the gaming. If your looking to upgrade and your a gamer, this is the best TV on the market for gaming right now. Especially if your in the market for PS5 and Xbox Series X. 4k@ 120hz all 4 HDMI ports. I have been blown away with how good Xbox One X looks on it. And with the sound bar I have its like I can feel the wind coming off it when I'm gaming. Its on another level.

With how inexpensive TVs have become today, I always figured most UHD/LED TVs were the same around the $600 mark. I purchased a Samsung last year and was actually less than thrilled with it. After researching this online, I immediately was like "who still spends $2k on a TV anymore?" After some hesitation, I decided to do it and I can honestly tell you, this is the absolute best picture I've EVER seen. The blacks are BLACK, the colors are VIVID and it is absolutely stunning. I've had it a few weeks now and having just moved, set up the aforementioned Samsung in my bedroom. Last night I went to bed early and figured I'd finish watching my show in the bedroom. Holy heck--the LG had me spoiled because when I saw the Samsung, it looked terrible in comparison. I will say I was mostly unhappy with the brightness level of the Samsung, not the picture quality. But after watching on the LG then Samsung, there is NO comparison. If you've got the budget, highly highly recommend this TV. FYI, I only stream, no cable. Unfortunately live in a rural area where internet isn't the best but average around 40-50Mbps and I can assure you there is no quality loss.

I upgraded from a 55" Sony Bravia 4K LED and this blows it out of the water. The picture quality on this OLED is amazing. I watched the Mandalorian on both TV's and there was just another level of definition here compared to the normal LED TV. The contrast and deep colors displayed are so beautiful, especially when watching 4k content. I might need to adjust my settings a bit, but I've noticed in specific conditions, certain scenes will have a grainy look to them. Also, the screen is highly reflective, so make sure to have this placed where there is not direct sunlight / lights fixtures hitting the screen. I was also lucky enough to get a PS5, so the HDMI 2.1 will allow me to use "next gen" features on the games I play. If you have this TV delivered, be prepared that it is a very large box. Also, make sure you have someone to help set up the TV properly. The TV itself is extremely thin and the screen itself can bend pretty easily. I attached the base (which was WAY heavier than I was expecting) and almost dropped the TV when placing it onto my TV stand - it has since been mounted. But again, I would highly recommend setting up the TV as a two person job, just to be safe.

This is my 3rd LG OLED. I replaced my 65B6 this weekend with a 65CX. The black is so black it looks like someone painted black on the screen. The motion artifact is gone!!!! Direct Tv looks like it's 4k! Im still exploring the new features but this model or the GX is the way to go. I also have two Samsung 4k TVs but not even close. Sorry Samsung.

The TV to get for next gen game systems

I purchased this TV as strictly a gaming TV to take advantage of everything the new game systems (Xbox Series X & PS5) can offer. This was replacing a 2016 4k LCD and this TV is definitely a step up and offers a pretty amazing picture. It took very few changes to the picture settings to get it looking great (plenty of videos on youtube) I will say that I don't notice a huge difference from my old TV but I also couldn't compare them side-by-side. If I could, I am sure there would be a noticeable difference, especially with the blacks. A couple suggestions: I will say it is a little scary getting the TV upright after putting on the stand. Since it is so thin and the stand is quite heavy it flexes trying to get it upright which is quite unnerving. So be sure to have two people to move it. As I mentioned above check online for the suggested best picture settings. There is not a lot to say that hasn't been said so I will keep it short. This is THE TV to get if you want the best gaming TV out there and you can confirm that by checking any review website out there. If you want it for normal TV use you can't go wrong in that regard either.

Great picture using a HDTV antennae and sound from internal speakers. Very easy to set-up but need to adjust the picture for dark room viewing. Two small cons: 1. No information provided on how to assembly the table-top stand. 2. The remote is not backlit at all.

After researching TV's online, including Consumer Reports, I decided on this TV. We have 2 Sony's and thought they were amazing... until we turned this one on. Even our kid's cartoons were breathtaking. We have it connected to our Denon 9.2 ch. AVR (receiver) and when we turn the TV on, it turns the receiver on, and it almost always gets the sound settings right (not sure if that is the TV or the receiver doing the thinking). Anyone who has had to turn on the receiver separately, then choose the input, etc. in order to use their sound system knows how nice this is. The apple airplay is a nice feature. The remote has a cursor like a computer mouse that shows up on the screen. The cursor works on almost any user interface, including our DVD player. This is an expensive TV, but ultimately, I'm happy with it and feel it was worth the money. We finished our basement and didn't want to cut corners, but didn't want to get stupid about it either. Again, we spent a lot of time considering if this was worth the money or if we should go with a less expensive TV, and we are happy we bought this one.

LG has done it again. They have once again built a great product that is easily the best TV on the market compared to anything close to this price. I bought the TV to pair with the next-gen consoles (ps5 and xbox series x) as well as to keep up with the various streaming services that are now supporting 4k resolution and HDR. This TV has surpassed my expectations. I already owned a 55 inch LG OLED TV, but it is not 4k. Even after all the warnings about the lifespan of an OLED TV, my old LG OLED from 2017 still works perfectly with no burn in effects. The contrast on this TV is unmatched by its competitors as well as the performance while gaming. There is zero input lag when gaming and the TV keeps up with the refresh rates of my new consoles easily. All HDMI ports are HDMI 2.1 where most TVs are only including 1 or 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. The stand is high quality and has some weight to it so there is very low risk of this tipping over if you don't mount it on the wall. I am very happy with the purchase and I will continue to be a loyal customer of LG TVs if they keep this build quality and visual quality up in the future.

Amazing tv Picture is gorgeous. I had a 120” 1080p projector and was worried about downsizing. After months of research I chose this one and grabbed it for $550 off original price. Picture quality over size was great choice. The detail, contrast, and color is amazing. I don’t regret it especially Wikipedia Series X

This is a gorgeous TV. Incredibly sharp and clear, and anything black on the screen (like the black bars on a letterboxed movie) totally disappear from view. No “glowing black” screen with OLED. I was a little concerned about the glare from the window over our couch, and it does reflect on the screen, but the screen is so bright when it’s on that you easily forget about the reflections. The color definition is beautiful, and the appearance is sleek and minimal. Main concerns: 1) the audio level is limited. The volume seems to max out around 40%, even if you run it up above that. The AI audio also takes some time to set up for your room, so give it a day of usage before you start messing with the audio settings. A sound bar or speaker system might be a good accessory. 2) this thing is so thin across most of the display - it felt like it could have easily cracked during install. If you’re setting it up yourself, just be very careful. If you’re hanging it on a wall - have it done professionally. I could see this easily getting cracked by someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing.

If you ever saw that movie, this television will melt your eyeballs with all the color, and none of the stark brightness of other TVs. An OLED has been my dream TV for years, and this baby went on sale for $1800 for a short time, so I got it. Never going back! The thinness is nuts, and you will feel like a slight push will snap it, the TV seems so delicate, but the picture it produces is incredible. I have two gripes about OLED, but neither are the product's fault. 1) research brightness on OLED vs other TVs and take into account you will not get the whites you are used to from other TVs. This unit adjusts brightness automatically, which sometimes makes things dark (usually only noticeable on commercials, so who cares, right? 2) If you find it hard to suspend belief during shows and films, you will see CGI for what it is, and it will look as fake as the puppets and zippered monsters of old. That much is a little saddening, but if you are looking for that "reality" effect, you won't be watching that kind of content anyway.

They used to say my 55 inch plasma had deep blacks but switching to this TV was a major WOW factor. I sit about 10 feet from the TV and found the upsize to 65 inches did not feel too close at all, it was an improvement. The picture is great even from a 45 degree angle. Old B&W 1930's movies from satellite and movies from a DVD player (not BlueRay) both look great. I was expecting enhanced graininess. I even have an old VCR with red/white/yellow RCA connections plugged into the analog input of the TV (using an adapter). The VCR video is better than I have ever seen, ever. The computer logic used in this TV to display low quality video on its large high-definition screen is amazing. After seeing what this TV can do with all the old media, the HD(720p), UHD(1080p) and 4K(scarce) is still better than I expected. The built-in speakers are more than acceptable for watching general shows, sitcoms and news but I definitely recommend connecting to an external sound system for those action movies and music-centric media.

Picture quality was an immediately clear improvement on my previous 4k tv. I got this mainly for next generation consoles so I'll have to wait and see if it was truly worth it but I appreciate many new features I didn't have before. Dolby vision became a quick favorite. Any content with dolby vision will automatically pull in picture settings that were set by the content creators. Many movies have a very noticeable change so it feels like you got something out of it every time. Video games are also a noticable improvement. I used a splitter to see the difference between this tv and my old 1st generation 4k. The low latency was very overt and an obvious improvement. Fast movements will have a clarity that is night and day. With the addition of HDR I see a big improvement with my playstation 4 pro already so I don't have a hard time believing the ps5 will be done justice. Especially when you add in hdmi 2.1 capabilities. Whether you're getting this for next gen consoles or just want great movie picture quality you can't go wrong here.

Blown away! Coming from an 4K LED with only HDR10 support, this upgrade blew my mind. The colors, contrast, Dolby Vision are out of this world. Plus, with support for next gen games (VRR, 120hrz/fps, AMD FreeSync, Nvidia GSync) and almost full HDMI 2.1 (not 8k) compliant, it’s near future-proof too.
