Excellent OLED TV with near perfect blacks, rich color and out of the box settings that are right for most viewing locations. The set up was straightforward and easy, it took less then 15 minutes to set up. This TV is geared towards gaming with it’s high refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 ports.

Fantastic value for incredible return. I had always heard OLED picture is unmatched, and it’s true. Great onboard firmware (Netflix/Disney/etc), easy to setup but also many deeper settings options, future-proof at HDMI 2.1, and perfect for next gen gaming with 4K @ 120hz. Top of the line!

Without a doubt, OLED’s are the best TVs out there. The picture they produce are absolutely outstanding, and the CX is no different. It comes close to being a perfect picture, and in many instances, it is. Because OLED’s can produce perfect blacks, the result is and image that looks incredibly detailed and realistic; There is a great sense of depth. The CX provides an unrivaled experience when it comes to watching movies. Because of its low input lag, gaming is also a great as well. It feels incredibly smooth. The CX comes loaded with features, providing every kind of app you would need. The big downside is brightness. While most wont be affected by it, the TV has issues getting bright. Sudden white images appear dimmed. Depending on the content you consume, it can be a bit frustrating. Again, most wont notice or care, but it is a flaw worth noting. Overall, the LG CX is a top tier TV. While very much expensive compared to the other options, you really do get what you pay for; A superb movie and gaming experience.

This is probably the best TV I have ever owned yet. Color and sound are top notch and it's great for gaming. No burn in after almost a year of use, but I'd recommend getting the extended warranty just in case since it has a high chance of happening depending on usage (other reviews).

Love it Best Oled Tv for the price, I had the Sony and after 2 weeks i already had problems with it. The TV is Everything you want clear motion picture, colors are fantastic, you get 4 Hdmi 120Hz, and when you watch movies in 4k you will not be disappointed and very easy to use.

Gorgeous TV. The colors are vibrant and the blacks truly are black. I didn't realize how bright my old TV was until swapping to this and having to readjust the brightness settings of video games from at the bottom to just a hair above the middle. Scenes with fires and silhouettes stand out much more. If you don't believe me watch the opening of Top Gun as they prep for take off against the rising sun. The smart home integration leaves something to be desired but I finally got it setup. I saw the works with Google Home and made an assumption I could cast to the TV but was mistaken. I have to use other apps on my phone. Despite not being able to cast on this, I have been able to find all the video services I use on the WebOS. I just hope it stays updated with new apps unlike my old TV. The remote is also nice too with being able to point at the screen to get a cursor. I do need to find a Bluetooth keyboard I can use to help search for shows.. I cant wait to hook up a PS5 to this bad boy.

Alright yall, dont tell my wife or my kids, but jeeeeeezzzzuusssss! This TV is absolutely incredible! The glorious vibrant content they show off at best buy doesn't even show off the best part of this TV, the deeeeep inky black details! Im not kidding when I say this TV made me feel like I was seeing in color for the first time. It was like God came down and kissed each one of my eyeballs and said, "your welcome", as he floats away facing you and waving. It doesn't get much better than God kissing your eyeballs and Dolby Vision. 4 4k 120hz hdmi 2.0 hookups, gsync and freesync for us Ballin type gamers. Its definitely the tv to get in 2020. Oh and put your oled worries to the side and just get the warranty. Best buy is the only company that backs their products for burn in and many other things.

As others have stated this TV is incredible. Now lets cut to the real stuff: 1. Reflection handling is not that great compared to other TV's. The deep blacks are incredible during movies with lights out, but any lights behind the TV are distracting. 2. Turn off the AI Pro sound and your TV will sound much better. Same with the atmos setting. You can watch soccer and F1 and not be upset about the sound. 3. The TV is cumbersome to mount on the stand but it is STURDY. Use a good screwdriver and be gentle otherwise you will ruin the head of the screws, they are very soft. 4. Adjust the inputs independently so you get the best picture! I use apple TV 4K with much different settings than cable box. This allows best from your TV.

If you only care about picture, this is 5 stars. If you DON'T have an AV receiver, this is 5 stars...if you DO have an AV receiver this still may be 5 stars... The Bad (only thing I've found...but it's big, to me): This TV does not support audio pass-through of HD audio streams, e.g. 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. https://www.lgcommunity.us.com/discussion/13210/can-the-new-oled-cx-serie-make-dts-passthrough-over-earc Where will this be a problem for you? Almost nowhere because almost no Video Streaming apps support HD audio or above Dolby Digital 5.1/Atmos. If you try to stream HD content from your computer to TV, this will become unplayable for anything with HD audio (e.g. I could not play the THX trailer in 4K UHD DTS-HD Master in any way via my TV...it had to go through an external source capable of passing audio to my receiver). THE GOOD (there's a lot!): I absolutely love the way this TV looks. I'm coming from an old Samsung LCD from 2008, which died in 2017, got a new Samsung LCD (cheap) to replace it. We were at our new (bigger) place for less than a week and the 45" Samsung was no where near big enough for the living room. So I asked permission to spend some money and I'm very glad I did! This is just like when I bought that 2008 Samsung and everything looked way better--it really does on this TV...it's amazing. AUDIO: I've only listened to the TV speakers a handful of times (mostly on accident). They sounded nice as I remember. But more importantly, this seamlessly integrated with my Yamaha AV receiver via HDMI (ARC). My receiver also supports (and I'm using) eARC although I can't say what difference that makes (my receiver is from 2014 but does appear to support eARC). I almost have a single (TV) remote. The only time I have to grab the receiver remote, is to switch the input (e.g. if I want to play XBOX instead of PS). Otherwise I can easily control volume and select what I'm watching via the TV remote (WITH NO SETUP!!!).

Rated the best picture by several professional reviews and it lives up to it. I can't speak to how it performs in a highly lit room especially with sunlight because it is used in a darker room. With that said I absolutely love this TV. The picture is amazing, it does very well with upscaling regular HD shows you would watch on cable or satellite. I mostly watch sporting events (basketball and football) and the high refresh rate makes a big difference. The picture is stunning. But of course stream native 4K content or watch a 4k Blue-Ray disk and it is mesmerizing! Everything just pops. The bluetooth connectivity is great as I will use wireless earbuds at night to not disturb others in the house. Has all the typical connections you would expect to find on a high end TV. You can use the magic wand to run more devices than on older LG OLED TV's which was a welcomed surprise (I upgraded from a C7). This TV is so worth the money!

I’ve never indulged for a good TV. For comparison sake, I had a 58” Hisense 4K UHD Roku. It was an after Christmas sale for $289. Great picture for the price. Enter this new OLED, dude, it’s spoiling me badly. I find fault with every other set in the house now. They all look washed out and the colors aren’t as vivid as I thought they were. The contrast is baffling and the colors are true. I’ve read articles about these TVs not being bright enough? I had to tone this one down a bit. But the most amazing aspect is the TVs ability to make whatever channel you’re watching look real sharp. If you have a picture that’s muddled, give the TV a minute and it will fix the pic itself. I’ve not had a TV that was capable. Final word? If you have the cash buy the thing, it won’t disappoint. Oh and I watch all kinds of programming from Blu-ray dvd (which will boggle yer mind) to OTA.

The LG CX is one of two entry-level OLED TVs in LG's 2020 lineup, and like any OLED, it delivers excellent picture quality. It's packed with gaming features such as FreeSync variable refresh rate (VRR) support and G-SYNC compatibility to reduce screen tearing. It has a near-instant response time and low input lag as well. It individually turns off pixels, which results in an infinite contrast ratio and perfect black uniformity, making it a perfect choice for watching movies in dark rooms. It also has wide viewing angles for when you want to watch TV with a large group of people. It displays a wide color gamut for HDR content, but it only has decent peak brightness in HDR, so some highlights may not be as vivid as the creator intended. Like any OLED, it has the risk of permanent burn-in, but we don't expect this to be a problem for those who watch varied content.

Just absolutely amazing TV. I was kinda hesitant dropping so much on a TV but with the black Friday pricing I couldn't pass it up and let me tell you, this TV is WORTH IT. Worth every dollar. I was torn between this another top of the line QLED but you really can't beat the deep accurate blacks offered by OLED TV's, it just makes the colors pop so much more. Set an OLED TV next to a QLED and you'll never go back to a QLED. This TV also has an excellent game mode with G-sync and FreeSync support. Perfect TV for gamers looking for low input lag. Completely next gen ready and all four hdmi ports are hdmi 2.1, big win there. LG did an excellent job with this TV. Oh and the sound is also pretty good too, granted it can never match a solid sound bar or a true home theater system but the TV speakers get plenty loud and sound great. I would upload pictures but I don't think they'll do this TV justice, you need to see it in person.

This TV is amazing, but it's not really any more amazing than last year's c model. The new ai chip is there... But I can't tell that much difference maybe a little faster. HDMI 2.1 was also on last year's. These sets are incredibly thin, about a quarter inch, so be prepared to have help lifting it so as to not damage the screen. Myself, I have a jig I've fabricated that bolts on after the mount brackets (for wall mount... That's 95% of what I do) so I can lift without danger

I bought this TV as i was looking over some reviews of 4k TV's. I only had a 1080p TV and wanted to buy next gen consoles which would look better with 4k. There is also the gamer aspect of this TV. It supports HDMI 2.1 , earc, and has 120hz refresh. This TV is also going to house my other PC, so i can play PC games in a great big monitor with very good input lag for a TV. As for the movies and TV shows, this TV does not disappoint. I upgraded to Netflix 4k and the difference is very clear. If you can do a side by side comparison, the OLED really brings out great colors. The TV has its own OS, which works fast and pretty smooth most of the time. I had one incident where Hulu would freeze into a black screen on the TV app but work fine with the Roku i had hooked up. Later on it worked fine when i checked the next day. Overall, very happy with the purchase and can't wait to game on 4k when he new consoles come out.

This is the top-of-the-line 65" TV for 2020. It looks gorgeous, the quality is superb, upscaling of SD/HD content is great(Mario Odyssey looks wonderful upscaled to 4k). Make sure you have a friend to help you set it up, and look up some installation videos beforehand. I'd recommend leaving some of the packing styrofoam in the box and laying the TV on the box when you install the stand. I've paired this with a Jellyfin media server on my desktop, an Nvidia Shield Pro as a media client, and can now stream 4k HDR to the TV. I would recommend checking out rtings.com's calibration settings. I use the ISP dark room mode for SDR content & cinema mode for HDR content. Disable dynamic contrast and drop the sharpness to 0.

As we have been looking at an OLED for years, we finally bit the bullet. You will not find a better looking TV... We previously had a Sony X950G, and it's also a great TV in it's own way! The LG OLED side by side shows a stark difference in black levels. The Sony will be better for sustained static brightness but for movies, the OLED will be your go-to. Out of pure fear of permanent image retention, we only use this in our movie watching space for special occasions. While I know I'm over protective of our investment, be diligent about long watching sessions when there's a static ticker-board or HUD in games. WebOS is fine, but we use an AppleTV 4k. The speakers were surprising considering the form factor (enough depth in the sound for being TV speakers), but we also use a Sonos Arc as our primary sound source on the TV.
