Amazing value w/the holiday sales price!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked up at an amazing holiday sales price! Look, there are some great TVs out there, but this one is unanimously considered by reputable reviewers to be one of them. Great picture overall! Movies, streamed base or disc based, look very good to stunning at times! However, this TV really excels in the gaming department. The gaming features on this TV are what truly separates it from the pack. This is the TV to get if you want the best large screen gaming experience currently available. Some may argue burn in concerns and shadow detail nitpicking, but these can become subjective as testing from multiple online sources have proven the concerns to be very minimal. Highly recommended.....with Geek Squad Protection if you have concerns. However at this point, I would try to get it a sales price as new 2021 TV's will start to be announced in about 1-2 months.

Worth every penny
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Back in the day buying a TV was simple. You walk into the store look at the picture on the screen and if it looked good you bought it. Nowadays you need some type of technical degree to buy these darn things. With so many different specks it's all crazy. I didn't know much about OLED TV'S except they are expensive. For the price of a 65 inch OLED I could have gotten a 75 or 85 inch TV depending on the brand. It all came down to picture quality. I bought the 65 inch LG OLED and have zero regrets. The picture is absolutely amazing. I watch a lot of movies from streaming services and they look better on this TV than they did in the theater. Yes OLED is a bit pricey but it is so worth it. At times in life you need to splurge on yourself. This TV is one of those times. You will not be disappointed.

Worth every penny
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OLED definitely worth the price. Stunning contrast levels, deep blacks and unbelievable depth of field. LG produces these OLED panels for Samsung and Sony as well. Remote control with pointer mouse provides quicker access to all features.

Great tv! Possible burn in made me nervous...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Note: I no longer own this tv... but I am rating it on when I did. I purchased this tv to replace a 4 year old Vizio 4K tv that was showing signs of wear. Everything you read about this tv is correct... it is amazing! Crisp picture, awesome contrast and one of the best pictures you can buy! The tv apps and features all worked great. The only reason I returned this tv was because of the “burn in” possibilities. I knew this when I bought the tv... I did purchase the 5 year extended warranty through Geek Squad that would cover it if this did happen. Unfortunately I just didn’t want to deal with it... so I did return this tv and purchase the Samsung Q90T (a QLED tv) in which burn in is not a factor. If your not stressed about screen burn in and do go with the extended warranty... you’ll be fine. Great tv for the time I had it!

OLED 4K HDR is Stunning
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just beautiful! From the TV design to the picture quality, just amazing. I had an 8 year old 47” 1080p 3D TV so the 4K HDR was a huge step already. OLED was a big upgrade as well. I hope this TV will last me as good as my old LG.

A new look into movies and games
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality on this television has completely changed our tv viewing and gaming experiences. We have been able to see details that we never could before which completely changes the context of some movies and games. The tv has an incredibly thin depth and looks absolutely amazing hanging on the wall above our fireplace. I have enjoyed the remote with the magic pointer and its ease of use. We will be setting up our sound to our receiver and speakers soon but in the meantime the sound quality has been very adequate for those not using external speakers. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Once you go OLED you will never go back
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is hands down the best TV on the market. I was reluctant to buy it based on the price but once I set it up and started using it, I came to the conclusion that it was well worth it. Once you get use to watching on an LG OLED you will never find any other TV remotely satisfying. The picture is crisp clear, the color is amazing, and it does it fairly bright even in the brightest of rooms. I am already considering replacing all my other TV's with LG OLEDs since everyone in my house only seems to want to watch on this one.

Get some help putting it together
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've had the 65" tv for about a month now, the picture quality is AMAZING!! Perfect size for our living room! It really is one of the best Oled's out there at the moment. The interface for searching and downloading apps is very user friendly. The remote is easy to use as well, you have the option to point and select what you need or manually scroll to select. It is a paper thin tv so beware when putting the base on the bottom when first assembling. It is best to place some of the foam packaging from the shipping box underneath the tv to elevate the bottom in order to get the base on. You will need 2-3 people to put it together because of its weight and fragility. There's a couple youtube videos on how to assemble since there were no instructions in the box.

Great value OLED with excellent display
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using it for a couple of weeks. A solid buy for the money. What the BestBuy expert told us is that LG is pretty much the only OLED display supplier. And I'm a fan of OLED compared to non-OLED. I'm not hardcore about individual colors but its picture looks much more natural to me. The contrast is excellent. My research also says it's great for gaming but I'm not a gamer. The audio is quite impressive for a TV. The TV itself also looks great. Super thin. The interface can use improvements but that's not a deal breaker at all. I don't care for the pointer (you don't need to use it) but my SO loves it so to each her own. I would recommend if a good value OLED display is what you're looking for.

Best TV ever!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best TV ever! I did a lot of research and this is what I picked. Actually I also purchased a 65 Samsung QLED for a room that had more natural light. Of the 2 I pick the LG for picture, contrast and true blacks

Great TV, small caveat.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was really hard to give this TV 4 stars instead of five. Let me preface this by saying I’m not a video/tech geek. I’m very close to what I’d think would be described as the average viewer. The reason it’s hard to give this TV 4 stars instead of 5 is the amazing colors, and the clarity. The blacks are truly black. Something I read about prior to purchasing the TV, and didn’t think would be a big deal. How much of a difference can truly black blacks make when you’re watching a show I thought. Turns out it’s a much bigger difference than I had expected. The rest of the color spectrum is also substantially more vivid, but the blacks really make the biggest difference in viewing experience in my opinion. Viewing 4K media is mind blowing. The amount of detail, in combination with the vivid colors offers a truly amazing experience. Now when my ol lady kicks me out of the living room and I go down the the man cave to watch anything on the 65” M-Series QLED Vizio I look at the colors with a minor amount of contempt. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is the motion blur. When there’s rapid movement on the screen, blurring is visible despite the claimed 120hz refresh rate. This is not something I notice on the M-Series Vizio in the man cave. It’s honestly very minor. All in all, I don’t regret spending the money. That being said, I won’t be spending the additional money ($1800 at time of purchase vs the QLED M-Series that was $650 at time of purchase) to replace any of the other TV’s in the house

Great for Movies and Games
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is definitely the best I’ve seen when it comes to 4K displays. I have streamed various shows and movies from different services, as well as played a couple video games from an Xbox One X, and the pictures are stunning, given you choose the right picture settings for the media on display. Such improvements as HDR bypasses and the screensaver that kicks on after a minute really puts your investment in a safe place. After coming from an LG B7A OLED, I have to say the remote shortcuts are also a time saver for menus. The home dashboard has been better organized compared to previous models. LG is still one of the top brands if not the best brand to manufacture home theaters experiences like this.

Best TV of 2020
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this TV. I bought it last year early March i have put 5,000 hours and it still has not issues. No sign of burn in or screen retention. Though i do use it a lot i do take care of it even if i have the 5 year warranty as we only get that in hopes of not needing it bit just in case right. Anyways i watch a lot of HDR movies i game a lot as i got the PS5 and Xbox Series X Day One in November and have been gaming heavily also in the previous consoles before. As this tv was sold as a gaming tv with features like Freesync and Gsync. Anyways this tv is amazing for anybody looking for a great tv that’ll get the job done. For me this tv is plenty bright and that shouldn’t be a deterrent for anyone

LG OLED 65PAU
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing picture clarity, deep blacks. LG OLED 65PAU replaces an older LED, a huge improvement! LG OLED primarily used for 4K blu-rays and video streaming. Multiple streaming apps pre-installed (subscription required), includes Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Sling, LG TV, YouTube, Hulu, Movies Anywhere, and many others. Setup was easy, just needed to configure Wi-Fi connection. Remote is used by pointing and click. Point the remote and a red dot appears, click on any app icon on the t.v. screen to run. Sound quality is very good, recommend also purchasing a soundbar or speakers for Dolby surrond effects. Very pleased with purchase, includes free delivery. Highly recommend.
