This TV is gorgeous. There’s a huge difference between this TV w/ HDR and the $700 tv I had before. OLED is gorgeous!

I did a ton of research for months before buying a tv. I compared OLED vs QLED. In my opinion, nothing compared to OLED. I almost went with the Vizio OLED, but like the addition features with LG and it's super thin! Ultimately I'm glad I spent more to get a tv that is relevant 5 years from now. I also had to decide between a bigger screen less quality or smalled screen highest quality. The 65 was perfect for my fairly large living room. Won't disappoint

Very happy with this purchase! The picture quality is amazing—there really is a noticeable difference in the depth of color and the contrast between the vivid colors and the darkest blacks give the picture an almost 3D quality at times (the framed art screen saver displays this beautifully). The only annoying thing is that you can’t get rid of the No Signal box when in the painting screens are running. For a tv this expensive, you should be able to make that thing go away.

I have been a supporter of samsung TVs for many years, I felt that the TV that I currently have and I still really like isn't much differant than the new models (I have a 6 year old samsung 65") I did some research on this TV and was thinking it was over hyped. Its truly a amazing TV. I love it, the picture is amazing and its full of useful APPS it has lots of hookups plus the remote is awesome. I could go on and on about how impressive the display is.

    Upgrading from C6 OLED

I have had a C6 curved OLED for a long time and I LOVE IT. I really really love it. Plus it was the last passive 3D 4K OLED. The pinnacle of 3D. Its just incredible with Oakley 3D glasses. So now that the C6 is getting a bit old I decided to get a CX. CX vs C6 Pros: - CX is a bit brighter overall. I watch in dark rooms and it can make my eyes hurt a bit in HDR on bright scenes. - CX is much better a low light grading. Way less blotchy in compressed content like Netflix Daredevil for perfect example. - CX input lag is better CX vs C6 Cons: - I know 3D is dead, but it wouldn't be if TVs were all as good as the C6 is. The downfall of passive 3D is it cuts the resolution in half. Half of 4k is still amazing. Active 3D cuts the light output in half and there is no way to make that good. Passive on a 4k 3D OLED is literally better than any theater 3D ever. Oakley made 3D Gascan glasses that I got cheap and WOW. I still love a top end 3D movie. If the CX had this it would be PERFECT for me. I would even pay more for the G version if it had 3D. Its literally something you cannot believe unless you see it. Gaming: I game on both my C6 and CX. I have never had any issues with an image lasting more than a few seconds. I play RPGs that have long active HUDs and still cutscenes, loading, etc... breaks it up enough it never burns in. I play DQXI through twice on my C6 with no issues so I am not afraid of OLED at all at this point. Final Thoughts: I was expecting the upgrade to be mainly in low light scenes. That is basically true. It doesn't blow me away like how OLED blows about every other TV type. I miss the 3D and I kept my C6 as a backup just for this. I won't upgrade this OLED again unless a new one with passive 3D comes out (its only software for them at this point).

This is my first OLED tv and a big upgrade from my 4K vizio tv and all I have to say is wow. This tv is amazing and can do everything! With 3 hdmi 2.1 points it allows me to take full advantage of the Xbox series X and future proofs the tv For years to come. The thinness on the screen due to oled technology is mind blowing and amazes everyone I show it too. It is a bit pricy but if you’re a connoisseur of great quality TVs I highly recommend this one.

So I've only owned this TV for about a month, but I love it. Great quality, sound, and features. I haven't played as many video games or spent time long enough to experience burn-in (which was my hesitation), but I'm so glad I got it. When my PS4 was connected to the Magic Remote, it turns on and causes a weird lag where I can't do anything when turning on everything, but functions once I turn all off and on again. I decided to disconnect magic remote from the PS4 and it's fine.

Amazing quality picture. Performance is spectacular. It's expensive, but worth it for people who will notice the difference. The screen is super thin and the design looks amazing on a wall, especially after I ran the cords through the wall. If you watch a lot of TV or play video games, this is the best TV on the market. Might even have to put this above the Sony Bravio. Also the user interface is awesome and the magic remote makes it super easy to use.

This TV has everything I wanted in a TV. The picture quality is amazing. I bought this TV for My Series X and PS5. The 4k 120hz looks and feels great! Another reason I purchased this TV was because of Nvidia Gsync and AMD free sync support (VRR). I was also surprised at how well the audio on this TV is. I run the audio settings on AI Sound Pro and am impressed on how clear and crisp it sounds. Easily the best TV I have ever seen. Well worth the price!

The remote takes some getting used to but we love our new Tv! The picture is amazing and it has every feature we were looking for plus extras. We picked this up ourselves... one thing we weren’t expecting is how heavy it is. The thin screen makes it very awkward when trying to put the base on. Also, it doesn’t come with instructions for assembly, and the ones for wall mount were severely lacking. We looked for them online and it was no better.

    Amazing T.V.

This is an amazing T.V. to own. I went from an old Panasonic plasma T.V. to a Samsung 8k, and even though the Samsung was a nice T.V., the LG just has a more true to color picture. I bought the Samsung, and a little later bought the LG to compare the two and the LG was the favorite for the whole family. The Samsung was just to washed out when using the vivid mode, while the LG had more color while still being bright in their vivid mode. The Samsung was a great T.V., but the LG was just better all around in my opinion. So I returned the Samsung and kept the LG. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the fact that I play video games and I am really worried about burn in, but I purchased the Geek Squad protection which covers burn in. Just having to worry about it on a T.V. that is the main T.V. is hard to deal with for me.

This TV is probably the best of its kind with a built in wiimote lol. Magic Wand is an very good way of easily navigating through the TV's interface, and the quality of the picture is out of this world. Really popping colors, if you have an xbox series x or ps5, this TV will surely keep up with them.

Just got this New Year’s Eve and all I can say is wow. The picture on this is the best that I’ve ever seen. The set up was easy, hooking up all the cables was easy, get everything synced to it was easy. I have it wall mounted and paired up with my JBL sound bar. Sounds like the theater is in our living room and the picture is even better. No lag time on fast action, blacks are truly black, colors stand out and pop. Hands down the best I’ve ever owned.

I did a lot of research when looking to upgrade from my 12 year old Samsung LCD TV. I looked at LG CX, Sony A8H and X900, Samsung Q80 and Q90T, and Vizio Oled. I went to Best Buy several times to look at all of them and compare them side by side. When looking at the 4K demo in store, all these TVs look fantastic but I was also able to compare live TV when they were showing a football game on all the screens. The sales associate was trying to sell me on the Sony X900 saying it had better motion control than the rest, but the colors looked too washed out to me. The one that looked the best to me was the LG CX. The Sony A8H might have had slightly better image quality, but no HDMI 2.1 which is something I wanted for future proofing. I went with the LG CX 65 and couldn’t be happier. 4K and HD content looks amazing of course but I’m also impressed with the image quality of regular cable TV. There are so many settings to play around with that I’m sure I could get the picture to look even better with some fine tuning. The sound is pretty good too for TV speakers, although I did end up getting a soundbar as well. Overall, I don’t think you can go wrong with this TV. I’m not too worried about burn in, but I did get the 5 year Geek Squad warranty as I plan on having this TV for a long time.

We got the 65" version and the tv picture quality is jaw dropping (the tv sound is also very good). I also hooked it up to my earc sony reciever and a 5.1 channel surround system and it seems to work appropriately. I set it up so the tv is the brain with devices plugged into that and only one hdmi cable to the receiver. Everything seems to work well. I did notice once that the tv got confused as to which device was being used and cycled through a few. It took me a little while to get used to the lg software but am fine with it now. I also am ok with the lg pointer remote after getting used to that. I have no bugs as far as I can tell with youtube. My wife and I were scared of putting the tv on the stand but we did it. We mainly handled the thick base of the tv and lightly grabbed the side of the screen by the upper part of the thick base when we had to. We moved quickly and confidently and without issues, were able to set the unit flat down onto a ping-pong table where we put a thing plush blanket. Once we got the base on the rear, we did the same and placed onto the tv stand. I do want to give kudos to best buy. We bought one of these before from another seller who used fed ex as the shipper. They left it outside my house in my backyard when I wasn't home (no call ahead to see if I was home). When I got the big box in and opened it, I immediately saw that the tv was damaged. When they came to take back the damaged tv, I noticed fed ex only uses one worker even for such a big box. So I ordered a new one from Best Buy. Best buy ships with their own ppl and two people came to deliver this delicate tv. They called ahead of time to make sure I was there and both people handled the tv carefully. It was a very good delivery experience.

Picture quality is excellent, blacks are crisp, motion is very natural, and my 4k blu rays never looked this good. You really do get what you pay for. WebOS honestly sucks, it leaves much to be desired in terms of app availability and smart tv features, but it’s not worth docking a star over it—you don’t buy this for the smart features, but for the picture quality, just buy an appletv/roku/other streaming box and use those apps.

This TV beat all expectations. The picture quality is exceptional. There is a notable improvement in the 'magic' remote - it behaves in a much smoother fashion than previous LG models with their sporadic, jumpy pink dots. The apps and streaming features were easy to learn and navigate and what a difference streaming makes. I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a great value without cutting corners in quality.

I had supported Samsung TVs and was a little shocked when the employee said I need to check out the LG. I looked on CNET reviews and sure enough, this LG was rated really high if not the highest. The picture quality is really amazing and I like the tv speakers but if you get a soundbar for Dolby atmos, you will be happier. The remote is called magic wand and it has a little cursor to move around selections. Overall awesome tv!
