Great Quality Picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm still getting used to the remote and new way of accessing my apps. Have used it for less than a week but I immediately saw the difference in the picture quality. Contrast is great and now I could easily see what was happening during "dark" scenes (watching the Mandalorian). Colors are very vivid.

Best TV but not for gaming.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is incredible but basically only for cinema. If you you’re thinking about this for games only, like PS5, the TV has built in firmware that auto dims bright and static areas that you can’t turn off called ABL and ABSL. Games that have daytime snow like Spider-Man Miles Morales or Resident Evil Village, are dimmed so much that you have to squint in a pitch black room just to see. Only solution is to turn on dynamic tone mapping and make the tv fight itself. Other than that nuisance, no other tv can compete with how good this looks for 4k hdr/Dolby vision or dark games like inside the mansion of RE8. Very spoiled with that kind of picture now.

Once you go OLED Black, you never go back!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this 65" LG OLED in anticipation of the PS5. OLEDs picture quality and colors are on an entirely different world, and I'd always pick an OLED even with the price premium. Highly recommend this LG product - it's definitely set the bar for the OLED industry. I regularly watch Netflix 4k/Dolby Vision content, and it never stops blowing me away. Highly recommended!

It beat already high expectations
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first OLED TV. I have had high expectations for them, but the picture quality still blows me away. I purchased a Vizio PQ65 a couple of years ago, which also has a great picture, but it still isn’t a comparison to the CX65. It also has an excellent picture right out of the box. I only needed to do minor adjustments to some basic picture settings, mainly because it was a little too dark at first. These are easy to find online for the best picture quality, depending on the content you’re watching. The TV is also incredibly thin, which was a little intimidating mounting it on the wall. You definitely need two people to lift this thing without risking breaking it. Lastly, I was surprised by how fast everything is. On every TV I’ve owned previously, things took a bit to load. Not this guy.. you click a button and it’s there instantly. Switching between standard and Dolby Vision is also instant. My QLED always struggled to switch to Dolby Vision. Overall, I don’t think I can go back to non-OLED after using this TV.

My first OLED is sensational
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome TV. Lives up to the hype within credible picture quality. The blacks are unbelievable... however some of the content appears too dark and one needs to get used to the change from the usual bright tv settings we have experienced . As always the sound for all these sleek tv’s are terrible and you need a nice home theater / sound set up to make the most of it

Can't go wrong with this one.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely love this TV. The picture is beyond amazing and the apps have simplified life in my house. Colors and contrast, I don't have words. Black stays black no matter what is on the screen, no varying shades of gray any more. Colors and bright, accurate, and vivid. If you've been on the fence about a new TV and OLED, this is your sign.

Wow! What a screen
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With the widest range of colors and deepest blacks, this is an amazing TV! While watching a movie in the dark a screen split made the screen dark and I couldn’t see anything in the room. It was as if a power outage struck. My wife had remarked that the details are so crisp and clean she thought we were at the movies! It’s an amazing experience!

Consumer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV meets and exceeds my expectations after coming from a 7 year old Sony XBR this TV blew me away. The color depth and features are great, plus it has all the latest features for next gen gaming. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone looking to be blown away by picture quality and features. My only issue is the price, but in this case you get what you pay for.

Excellent Television
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is amazing. Blacks are completely black. Some expert reviews say the picture might not be bright enough, especially in a brightly lit room. We aren't using the TV in an extremely bright room, but the bright colors are easily bright enough. In fact, some of the picture settings are too bright for our taste. The picture quality at an angle is outstanding.

Best quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quality is great! We really splurge to get this compared to the usual $500s tv we tend to get since we watch a lot of movies and shows. It’s been a couple months now since we bought it and have no regrets! The black background is completely black. So space movies or graphics look phenomenal! Very happy to have splurge a bit for this quality TV. Would recommend!

LG CX 65' TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG CX is an amazing TV with some of the best visuals I have seen on any TV I've ever owned. I plan on getting a PS5 and this TV is game ready and future proof with HDMI 2.1 and AMD freesync. It also looks stunning with vibrant colors and has great sound out of the box. Simply put this one of the best TV's on the market and well worth the price. Highly recommended.

LG Oled 65 inch great picture right out of box
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my 4 year old 65 inch LG Oled with the new 2020 model and it has a great picture more enhanced features. Remote is point and select without using up and down arrows. Set has rich colors and sharp picture quality. LG has the best quality of any set currently on the market.

Fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic TV. The OLED display is unreal, Dolby Atmos and Vision are phenomenal and the sound is actually very good for a TV! Overall if you can get this (65") for less than $1800, I would say its SO worth it. The TV is just phenomenal, watching movies is just amazing with the true blacks and such, its like a theatre experience every night.

Excellent TV and great picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This lg oled 65" CX is amazing, for people willing to have the best tv for you home. The picture is great and the web os is fluid and easy to use. Setting it up definitely takes at least two people and it may be useful to have three like I had when you get to the part of flipping the screen up after installing the stand to the base of the screen. This part was nerve racking but instead of straight up lifting it by the screen like the instructions said we positioned the tv on the box and then used the box as a support as we flipped the box up so the tv would then stand on the floor. That seemed like the easiest way for us. After that setting up the tv on the stand and getting it working was a breeze. Once it's all set up I would recommend turning of the TV's tracking software live plus and turning off targeted ads under the general settings since no one likes being tracked. If you don't have a fancy sound bar this tv does have a headphone jack that I plugged some computer speakers into that have a subwoofer for better sound then the stock tv speakers if you want a cheapish upgrade. Mine I used on my last 11 year old tv and they worked fine on this lg. Overall would recommend this to anyone looking for an oled especially since lg makes most or all of the screens of the competition

Excellent Picture Quality!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have thoroughly enjoyed my LG CX OLED! The picture is first class and can be easily adjusted to provide the best picture for your viewing environment. The remote was user friendly and I had no problem navigating the various applications and menus. It’s a highly rated television that is very deserving of its rating.

Great picture, but it goes black randomly
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is great. Great color. Great contrast. However, shortly after setting the TV up, during a show, the screen would randomly go black (as if the TV shut off) for 1-2 seconds then come back to normal. This happens periodically. Also, during scenes with fast movement, the picture looks like it's in slow motion (as if the frames can't keep up). Not sure what's causing this. I did some research, and am seeing that these issues are common among the LG's. I'm considering whether or not I should return the TV. Is anyone else having these issues?

Amazing TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this TV for about a month now bought it just in time for the super bowl and I was extremely satisfied with the picture quality as well as other features. I’m huge on gaming as well and I love how the games play on this tv. It has a special feature strictly for games so once you set it up it decreases the possibility of any lag. I love it.
