Had a Sony OLED and exchanged it for the LG OLED. The LG is superior in almost every way. Much easier to operate. Outstanding picture quality. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

The color
Contrast is quite amazing. My mother has macular degeneration and has difficulty seeing dark areas of the TV. She is able to easily see the picture. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Stop comparing OLED vs LED/QLED/Anything

Owned many Samsung TVs. I figured why spend money on old technology when OLED is here and getting cheaper. This is the best TV I’ve ever owned. Watching anything in 4K blows everything else out of the water. Dark scenes are stunning in detail. New to the magic remote and took some time to adapt to, but it’s fine. Pro/Nerd tip: Streaming in 4K on this TV looks better than anything else you’ll see on QLED/LED/etc, but invest in a 4K Blu Ray player, buy a few favorites shot in 4K, and prepare to witness something truly remarkable. Worth every penny.

The quality is great, the color is very fresh too. Love it. I can enjoy the nature programs very well now.
Very thin, I don’t know why they made it so thin like a paper. I actually like it little stronger.

Honest Review: overall it is a really good tv vs it’s competitors within this price range.
Pros:
- picture quality with 4K content is very rich in color and provides crisp clearness.
- has a lot of future proof features, such as, free sync, hdmi 2.1.
- best gaming tv available currently.
Cons:
- certain scenes you see black crush and almost a shadow like black fuzziness. This is random but makes the scene almost unwatchable if it happens. Experienced this during a night scene in Vikings with Torvi and Bjorn when Horiks son tries to kill him at night. Giving people specific scene to reference and see for themselves.
- the lip sync is trash. I have a nakamichi 9.2.4 sound bar and the lip sync was so far off it was unbearable. After a significant amount of tweaking and setting the sound to pass through I am very close. Once in a while you can still notice it and I doubt it will ever be perfect all the time which is super disappointing for a unit this expensive.
-hdmi 2.1 capped at 40gbps. This is going to limit a future proof option. True hdmi 2.1 is 48 gbps. This means you can’t run 120hz and 12 but color. Though there is no Oled panel that can run true full 12 bit, you can still receive more of the color from the gamut if this option were available.
Overall, this tv is a huge step up from my late 1080p model but at this price point I would expect better.
The challenge is that you will fave issues/sacrifices with any other brand/model tv that is even within $1000 extra when comparing to this model.
If you are a gamer and can’t wait a year or 2 then get this one.
If you are strictly looking for movies and couldn’t care less about games go Sony a9g.
If you want the best of both worlds and 8k isn’t on your map, considering 8k is at its infancy and no real content can even touch this, then go for this tv.

Picture/image quality is superb. You can't beat LG OLED, and this is no exception. Best color, black levels/contrast, and overall image quality I have ever seen. 4K HDR/Dolby vision is spectacular.

SMH! This tv is outstanding. The picture is great. 4K movies look great and playing a Xbox Series X on it is just wonderful. The setup is good but it's missing HBO Max app on Web OS.

Having amazing BLACKS makes movie viewing a superb experience.
I'm so glad I upgraded from a 55" to 65" and from LED to OLED.
I don't see "burn-in" being an issue as I don't game on my TV.

Great TV! We love the picture, and I've added a Vizio 5.1.2 soundbar system for terrific surround sound. I've cut the cord, so it's nice to have apps available with the standard system. However; we can't add all the channels we like, so I have a Roku Ultra that I've paired with this TV. At first, I had some trouble selecting channels directly from the LG menu, but I've figured that out, and it's easy. One thing I don't like is that the pointer appears whenever I move the control. The pointer is good when your using LG-native channels/apps, but it gets in the way with Roku channels. I'd like to be able to turn this feature off, but I haven't found out how to do that yet.

Great picture, very good viewing angle, and the built-in sound is amazing for a TV -- haven't even turned on the home theater system. The remote is fun, too -- like using a Wii.
