This is the first new TV that I have bought in 10 years. I researched this TV and purchased it because it is currently the best set for next generation gaming with Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and four HDMI 2.1 ports. The input lag is minimal as well. Playing a game like Thumper which requires quick actions was no problem. The picture quality is excellent and the set is very premium as it should be for the cost. Even in a lit room, the picture is still sharp with minimal glare. I went to calibrate it using the THX optimizer and there were minimal adjustments to be made. The speakers on the TV don't get very loud but I do have a Soundbar that connects via ARC so that I can still get premium sound without losing the benefits of HDMI 2.1 The UI on the TV is pretty sluggish and I only use it to switch to gallery mode to protect the screen while it's on (OLED is prone to burn in so you want to take care of your TV set) I do wish that you could use your own images instead of the provided ones. The installation process was a bit tricky since the TV is so large - the included mount is designed to have the TV fit flush to the wall however getting the two small bolts on the back of the TV to fit into the wall mount was tricky even with two people handling the TV. Also it's not really said in the manual, but you will need a recessed outlet box for the TV to fit flush with the wall. I put all my cables through the wall for a very clean finish- the TV looks like a picture frame. I do wish that I had set the recessed box a bit lower because the HDMI cables do bring the TV a bit off the wall, but when I put other framed art around it, it shouldn't be noticeable. Overall - I would recommend this TV to anyone who plans to mount to the wall - if you are using a TV stand - I would go with the C1 instead since the G1 does not include a stand.

Hanging perfectly on the wall, this 65” TV was an excellent choice. Our previous 40” was an LCD and ten years old. Yes it is expensive, relative to other TV’s probably just as nice for most viewers. We wanted the latest, greatest, with very good reviews on the internet for our replacement. This G1 fit the requirements. We’re hanging it like a picture on the wall, not with a swivel mount. It’s sort of difficult to accurately attach the TV to the bracket, even with positioning tape markers included. Be prepared to ask two friends to help you: one to help hold and the other to stand on a ladder, looking over the top, to help line up the TV into the bracket locks. Please realize that what you see on the store demo, is generally TV’s set to the brightest, contrasts, sharpest picture settings. We were unsure how standard HD would look “up rezed” to 65”. I was amazed! If you take some time and tone down the TV to reality, you’ll still appreciate the depth of detail in both the blacks and whites. I started with the “cinema” setting, went network to network, and played with the individual settings within “cinema” to give me what I wanted in a TV. I’m in the TV production business. My viewing requirements might be very different than your’s. If so, you’ll still be happy with this TV’s preset picture settings.

Honestly the best tv I have ever owned! I bought the lg oled B1 55" for our master bedroom and loved how great oled looks in 4k. My movies on my apple tv 4k in dolby vision and dolby atmos look and sound amazing on the B series oled and I was skeptical of the speakers on this new oled evo. There are several different sound modes and one specifically for voice clarity so you can hear what people are saying. We placed this in our living room where we had a 70" vizio from 2017. Needless to say both the picture and sound are way better than the old vizio led plus aesthetically this tv is so flat and mounts flush to the wall. The only negative I have to say about this oled doesn't involve the tv itself but the included wall mount for flush to the wall look. I used a level and had to take the tv off and place it back on several times. I'm not sure I can say it is for sure the wall mount or the screws I used other than the included cheap wood screws that came with the tv. Either way I had a hard time moving the tv back and forth even with two people as the mount doesn't seem to want to easily be maneuvered back to flush against the wall. Other than that I am very happy with this tv and will recommend it to anyone. If you don't care about mounting it flush to the wall you could use a french cleave. I originally had a french cleave made for it but decided I liked the flush wall mount instead. It would save a lot of time and headaches with leveling the tv.

LG does it again! They are by far the best electronic's company when it comes to manufacturing and designing TV's. The LG OLED G1 EVO is just another platinum spot on LG's resume. This TV is outstanding. The picture quality, backed by LG's A9 intelligent processor is the best picture quality on any 4K TV and that includes the Sony A90J. HDR 10, HLG HDR, and Dolby Vision really pop. Even SDR content looks amazing on this TV. The game optimizer picture setting, which LG implemented and got rid of just the game setting makes all the difference in the world. WebOS just keeps getting better, and the AI ThinQ menu where your inputs are stored is a great feature. Please note: If you're going to put this bad boy on a TV stand; you have to buy the legs for $100. Please buy this TV. I reccommend it.

I am not a big tv person at all. This thing however blew my mind. The clarity, the deep blacks, the colors, the smooth motion. I bought this as an alternative to my LG 3D that had gone out. I couldn't believe how crisp the picture was in comparison. It draws you in. I bought a few 4k movies as everything I had was 3d or basic blu ray. This combined with the LG 90 series 4k player is just amazing. Even on the regular blu rays it looked more amazing than my other tv. I only wish they would introduce 3D back in to their line up. I could only imagine what their passive 3d would like paired with this. The gallery setting has become one of my favorite things to just mellow out to.

I've always had a great experience with LG TV and their LEDs. This was my first OLED and all I have to say is 'wow'! This picture quality is amazing and you really just have to see for yourself. Don't even mess with any of those QLEDs or nanoLED or whatever...go OLED by LG and you really won't be disappointed. You can thank me later.

Best TV I’ve owned by far period end of story. This is my first oled tv and I couldn’t be more happy easy to use and understand. The no gap wall mount included in the box plus all the other goodies this TV offers did it for me, my decision was between this and the A90J from Sony. Both great but this one is almost a 1000 dollars cheaper so no brainer. Definitely recommend it 100%.

This TV is perfect in every way even the sound is good.. I have standard Netflix and this tv seems to just transform it to look better. Never had an issue with it… it’s very slim doesn’t weigh that much.. highly recommend this tv for movies and video games.

The G1 simply put will look epic mounted on your wall. Initial experience has been flawless. Picture out of box is great (I haven’t tuned anything yet). The room it’s in - has floor to ceiling windows to the right of the TV so there is definitely glare and reflections. Pull the blinds and this is largely resolved. The glossy finish on the screen doesn’t help - however I doubt any panel would combat these windows well. The clean look of this panel is worth it. Best solution for this type of room would be an ultra bright short throw projector with a very expensive screen. My only issue with this TV is with LG and not the actual Panel. The G1 should come with more explicit directions on mounting. The cables only feed to the bottom of the TV..if you have a power outlet on your wall and it’s not positioned below the panel..it cannot be used. The paper cut out they provide as a guide for mounting is not the same size as your TV. It’s just used for wall mount position and length of TV (horizontally). Also they should provide better brackets/anchors. Overall I’m very impressed with how this TV looks. It def provided the wow factor I was looking for. I hope they continue pushing updates to smooth out the interface but thats a non issue if you’re using Apple TV or another source for your apps.

What a blast owning the G1! I primarily use it for 4k UHD movies and I’m more amazed each time I watch a film! I previously owned the A1 and it didn’t cut it and the G1 has yet to disappoint. Came with a wall mount was a huge plus and it sounds great with the Bose sound system added! Love this purchase and would recommend 10/10!

This tv is top of the line when it comes to quality. You can game 4K with 120 FPS. As well it is a must that you choose to watch your streaming apps through your this tv. You can see the difference when you watch Netflix through the app of the tv apart from a fire stick or even your gaming console. As well it’s great that HBO Max is finally available to download. If your looking for a tv that is great for this generation of gaming then look no further than this beauty.

Brightness difference between older OLED tvs and this TV is noticeably different. The tv itself is really nice. Is it worth playing $600 more than the C1? Don’t really think so. Also hate that you can’t turn the cursor off on the smart remote. Picture and quality are top notch though.

After buying my first OLED TV I refuse to buy any other as far as resolution goes. The LG G10 OLED is simply awesome. The resolution and color is absolutely amazing. The TV speakers are the best I’ve ever heard.

TV is very nice. Bright vibrant colors. Have a 77 inch C1 upstairs. Set this up downstairs. Bought as open box "Excellent" condition from best buy. Go to pick up and they wheel it up front wrapped in bubble wrap. Said site said open box and that's the state I paid for. Didn't seem to care. This model doesn't have a stand just what's supposed to be included a wall mount which wasn't included. Original remote was also not included. TV quality is phenomenal so not to harp on that or bring that aspect of this review down, but the explanation of the product and what was paid for vs what was presented was off not as advertised. Had a similar situation with pricing with the C1. Maybe just a TV and best buy thing... Ended up buying an original remote off ebay and likely the TV stand I was going to use already had a TV mount built into it. Guess in the end did save a few hundred off MSRP, and I guess I reasoned that was worth the missing hardware and condition so can't really complain that much more.

I love this tv! Great sound and picture quality, everything I wanted. Wall mount looks amazing and doesn’t take up too much room in a small space. Hoping it will last a long time.

This is my second G1. Made the mistake of going with a Sony A80j after getting a 55g1 for my family room and had to return and get this one it doesn’t even compare. I had several sony’s in the past but LG has my oled cents from now on. Even old movies seem new on this tv with not much tinkering!!!

My son convinced me to purchase this TV because of the Black back color and I’m glad I took his advice! Beautiful vibrant colors and the thin flat screen is amazing on the wall

This G1 LG OLED is exactly what I was hoping it would be! LOVE it! Go as Big as You possibly can. Hangs like a picture with the included wall kit. Would have liked the feet too, but it forced us to hang it and glad we did.

I'm not the review type but I had to. I always liked Sony products but I wanted to try something different. What attracted me to this TV is it's thin footprint. I needed something thin to mount against the wall in the livingroom that didn't stick out and would fit as tight to the wall as possible without cutting out the wall and recessing the TV. This LG fit the bill perfectly. As for the sound from the built in speakers let's face it, I have yet to see any manufacturers TV sound good with factory speakers. Ya, it might be good for some but I like my movies and or whatever is playing to POP. The soundbar that was built for this unit works perfectly with this setup. I really couldn't be happier.

Was looking at this OLED for the past few months then saw the nice sale Best Buy had on it. I own the 2018 CX version and this one is definitely an upgrade with HDMI 2.1 and it’s included low profile wall mount that is in the box.
