Tv bricked after 5 months. Frustrating to say the least. Might as well deal with vizio. Doesn’t seem like LG’s quality control is any better.

Don't get fooled with Sony and Samsung's "Trick or Treat" gimmicks. I purchased the Flagship Sony A90J 55inch and was sooooo let down with pretty much everything it offered that I returned it for an even bigger Upgrade the Flagship Qn900A Samsung 65 8k set. I very much love Samsung and never had any problems with any tvs over the years until this 8k set. The 8k is amazing, its the best picture quality hands down. But there is limited 8k content and the Screen had this Strange yellowish circular ball that was offset in the center of the screen That ruined the TV for me and for anyone else that would get this model. Plus it had this strange dimming feature that was never active but yet the screen would dim itself so low yet dim itself so low out of nowhere it was only on a few settings I believe it was standard in cinema and I made sure that none of the ecosystems were on and they were off! I had nothing adjusting the brightness but yet the glitch of the TV would automatically adjust to the room so that was another reason to ditch the TV. Then I got the Best overall Tv ever the LG G1 65inch. Its perfection in everyway possible. It takes your breath away every time your watching or using the TV. After adjusting a few settings the TV was perfect! Plays Call of Duty the best out of all the sets Sony would be the 2nd best. Films and movies on the G1 are are so amazing that when compared to Sony and Samsung it destroys them even but together it will destroy them the overall picture quality on the G1 is something to behold if you are gonna spend any money on upgrading your TV and you're thinking about the Sony or Samsung trust me you want to get the LG G1 you will be disappointed in fine errors and Sony and Samsung sets like I did. I didn't want to find any errors on those sets but they were flawed. Plus the Sony TVI purchased didn't come with the flagship sticker that's on the TV which I thought was very strange considering watching all the reviews of the T v's on YouTube that every TV had the flagship sticker on it and since mine didn't and I even called Sony and then never returned my phone call and the guy on the phone told me that that was very strange that every TV that you buy should have that flagship sticker on it and since it didn't that I was gonna get a phone call back that never happened I never have received a phone call from Sony they must not care about their customers because they don't care about me at all They never even called. Thankfully Best Buy and the Magnolia team handled everything so well that made my experience so much more greater than it could be. I had major problems with both of my tvs (the Sony and Samsung) I went in there and Matt and the crew handled all the returns so well that I would recommend buying anything from those guys and if you ever had any problems with anything you can trust in the team there! Great job to the Bestbuy and Magnolia Crew for helping and being great at what they do.

I mean, just look at this picture. It looks that good, or even better, in person. When art is showing, I often just stop to marvel at how good it looks. This TV saved our marriage. I seriously didn't want some huge black square taking up this part of the living room. I wanted art instead. My wife, though, absolutely wanted a TV here. Technology caught up at exactly the right time. Our wall above the fireplace has a niche for the bracket. With this model, that actually isn't normally necessary because it comes with a flat bracket that mounts on the top center. BUT, our wall doesn't have studs in the right place. So the installers (who were amazing) figured out a way to use an alternate bracket that fits in the niche and can mount to the studs.

I researched this LG G1 for about 8 months before pulling the trigger. I'm already familiar with LG OLED as I have a 55" B8 that we wanted to replace (NOT because of burn in, but needed a bigger TV in a new house and wanted to put the B8 in a spare bedroom) I DO NOT understand many of the negative reviews I see regarding OLED on various Youtube channels. They always say OLED is "too dim" and rave about QLED brightness, etc... I don't know what they consider "dim" but this thing gets bright enough to hurt my eyes, and we have 3 large windows in the room. And don't watch TV in the dark. The blacks are, of course, stunningly black (which QLED can't match, no matter what those LCD zealots claim.) Mounting the TV in the correctly location was pretty easy with the included template, though my wife couldn't handle picking it up and mounting it with me, so I had to call over a friend. The effect of it sitting flat against the wall like a picture is simply stunning. In our room, when you enter from the front door you're looking right at the TV side-on, so a normal mount (even a "slim" one) that makes the TV stick out a few inches just looks bad. The G1, sitting against the wall with ZERO gap, it just amazing. If I hadn't needed the flat-to-wall gallery mounting, I would have gone for the C1 because I don't really see that much difference in brightness between it and my B8... at least in our room. Still, this was the only TV that fit the bill for my desired look, and I couldn't be happier with how it looks on the wall. I am not a fan of the redesigned WebOS. It's sluggish and in no way an improvement over the UI my B8 has. But, it works. I just don't prefer it.

Best TV we've ever purchased... also the most expensive! My SO is hard of hearing so I researched TVs with the best factory sound (not adding a sound bar or additional speakers) and this one made the list. The C1 was also on the list, but we decided to spend the extra and get the super slim gallery view. Ours is mounted a little higher so we had to have a 3rd set of hands to get it onto the wall.. it seems like it weighs more than the listed 65lbs, So far the sound and the picture are both stunning. We are able to watch shows without the closed caption and the voices are able to be heard. We have it on to the CLEAR VOICE setting. My husband is voting for the sound bar either way lol! The matching slim sound bar is also VERY expensive and I cannot justify the price... with only 3.1 channels, it does not have a center speaker for dialog so while louder and more immersive, the speech would not be any cleared. Even really dark scenes that would normally be almost impossible to see any detail are clearly visible. If paused, the screen goes into sleep mode pretty quickly which I don't mind witht the risk of burn in on the OLED. The magic remote takes a little getting used to and I still haven't figured out how to connect to Alexa for voice control... but I haven't spent a lot of time on it either. Overall, a beautiful SUPER slim TV with bright picture and great sound!

I compared and returned multiple tvs before deciding on the LG G1. The final two TVs were this and the Sony a80j as they were both on sale off and on for similar prices. Both have the atsc 3.0 tuner I wanted aka 4k hdr 120hz broadcast for free over the air. I don't even know any paid services offering live tv at that quality. I have this on a stand as I need the center of my tv at eye level. Picked up an inexpensive one at microcenter that seems to do well. Slight pain setting this up by myself. Felt flimsy, but I was able to get it done. Picture is good. Dolby vision doesn't pop like my old Vizio quantum x series TVs from 2018 and 2019, but nothing pops like those TVs. Blacks are amazing as expected. The main reason I went OLED wasn't just for the beautiful picture, I found out that they're better for your eyes than LED. One of my kids has eye issues. If I had known this beforehand I wouldn't have even looked at any led TVs. If you or your children have eye issues OLED is the only way. Sound is decent for a tv these days. When put on ai it is nice and loud, but I can hear distortion sometimes, so I put it back to standard. Anyone telling you to buy a c1 or c2 because of the tv stand knows nothing of the difference in these TVs. Main thing that deterred me away from even looking at the c series was no atsc 3.0 tuner. This tuner should be in everything even remotely decent. G series will give a better picture as well as it can get brighter. For the price difference right now I don't even know how the c series even sells, g series is the way.

First OLED TV and i love it! As some one who is a tv snob, I am extremely picky over which TVs go into my home. This unit has a great smart platform in WebOs and the unit has a sleek boarder and deisgn. It is one of the best cosmetically looking TVs I have ever seen. Wall mounting the TV was extremely simple and initial set up was a breeze. Picture quality and sound quality is the best i have ever heard and seen from a tv! Streaming content looks amazing! Overall, very impressed with this TV and I am now hooked on OLEDs! This was by far the best Open Box Deal I have ever stumbled upon and I am glad I took the risk!

The TV itself is a very amazing product, the speakers are okay, when compared to the speakers on most brand named TV's, but I would still consider getting at least a Soundbar if you plan on using this as a home theater. If you are gaming with it(this T.V is amazing for gaming, and checks off most if not all next gen specs, such as 2.1 HDMI, Auto low Latency, VRR, 4k, HDR, dolby vision, Do not buy this T.V if you plan on using it in a very bright room(I'm talking about direct sunlight on the T.V) Oleds work way better in darker conditions.

We've only used it one day. Colors and sharpness are excellent. We were also able to have it mounted flush with the wall because of how thin it is. We don't have any soundbar and won't need to . . it sounds great by itself. Perfect TV.

It’s been over 10 years since I’ve had to purchase a new TV, so I decided on getting the 65” LG OLED. I’m glad I did. The picture is nice and crisp the sound is great. I was considering getting a sound bar, but, at this point I don’t need it just yet. The smart feature is interesting. The TV and I are still working on the voice command, where I can just say, “LG…” and voice my command. If I could just add one suggestion, it would be on the remote control. It’s ergonomically designed so it fits comfortably in the hand, so, navigating is easy. I just wish the controls lit up. Other than that, great job LG OLED

I dont think i will ever step foot into a movie theater ever again. There is literally no point with OLED on a Sonos Arc, Sub, and dual One setup. Every detail is so crisp clear and clean with that pure OLED black. Theres so much stuff for me to rewatch on this beast. Definitely one of my best purchases ever!

I bought this tv after looking at many videos on LG OLEDs and others. The reason I got this tv over the equivalent Sony OLEDs is because of the gaming features. LG has done an absolutely amazing job supporting the latest and greatest gaming features (i.e. VRR, 120Hz) while also making them work extremely well. In addition, they have been quick to update their newest televisions with more features and fixes. The picture quality is incredible and everything looks fantastic. The tv itself looks great but at the moment I can't wall mount it. One of the negatives of this tv is that it comes with a wall mount but no feet, which are sold separately. It would have been great if they included both in the box. I was blown away to find out that the remote (which itself is great) works with my surround sound and my Xbox. I have a ten year old set and it is still able to turn it on and off and change the volume. Everything about this tv is fantastic, except one other thing. The tv has more glare than I would like but this is not a deal breaker by any means, just something to keep in mind. Overall, an amazing tv that I am glad I bought and try to show off as much as I can.

I have had a Pioneer Elite plasma for years; the image is top notch and nothing has held up to if until now. This OLED is absolutely amazing. The blacks are VERY black and the image pops. Wall mounting is pretty easy, plus it looks great being so thin. The OS is reasonably good supporting most things you want/need. It has integral speakers (I didn't realize that until I powered it on) and the sound quality is acceptable to get you going. NOTE: you can not see the speakers the the frame/rim is very thin. This may be expensive but it is definitely worth the cost.

Phenomenal TV. Big step up from my B7, which now lives in the bedroom. As other reviewers have said, this TV absolutely requires a friend to install. Best handled by a professional to get that gallery look with no wires. Its included mount sits the TV incredibly close to the wall. TV comes nicely calibrated. Only minor changes were needed on the Filmmaker mode for the inputs, but you could spend hours and hours fine-tuning the white and color values. Gaming is impressive, especially with 120FPS VRR titles on the Series X and soon the PS5. Make sure to pair this with an eARC sound bar or receiver. Only HDMI port 2 can be used for ARC/eARC. Last thing - LG has given the G1 and Z1 series a 5 year warranty that includes burn-in. They clearly standby the new Evo panel.

One of the best OLEDs out there for the money right now. Cheapest way to get an EVO panel. TV looks amazing, better than my 55 CX which was already excellent. The gallery design is great, I love that the TV only comes an inch off the wall, looks so nice paired with the matching GX soundbar, I sat there watching Dolby Vision content thinking about how satisfied I was with my purchase, it was almost indescribable.

This is my first OLED and I am blown away. The picture quality is much better than i expected. The colors are vibrant yet natural. The experience of watching Dolby Vision and HDR content is something to be experienced. Initially I was stuck between high end LED vs OLED, I am glad I made the right choice. So I would say spend a little extra and get this OLED, you wont be disappointed.

If you're buying this, you know the picture quality is reviewed as great. The TV doesn't fail to impress. Contrast ratio is great and the screen is bright for an OLED. The only annoyance is the HDMI-CEC doesn't work perfectly, but it's rare a TV manufacturer gets this right. You have to have LG's simulink on if you want to use eARC.
