If you're buying this, you know the picture quality is reviewed as great. The TV doesn't fail to impress. Contrast ratio is great and the screen is bright for an OLED. The only annoyance is the HDMI-CEC doesn't work perfectly, but it's rare a TV manufacturer gets this right. You have to have LG's simulink on if you want to use eARC.

I bought this over the C1 because I buy TVs every 7 years or so, and wanted a solid top of the line to take me into the future. The standard panel warranty of 5 years has value to me, as does Evo panel. I do not wall mount, I use a Sanus pedestal table mount instead, it lets me raise the unit enough so the Samsung soundbar is cleared. It also swivels and tilts, great for access to the back. Picture quality is amazing. Night and day from my 2015 LG LED unit. Read the reviews online about picture qualilty, it's true. What is annoying is that the TV just won't work with my cable STB and LG says it must be because it's incompatible. It's Verizon Fios ARIS VMS4100 unit, and it didn't work with 2 such boxes. So I am unable to use their magic remote to control the cable box. LG support is not bad, they do get back timely and I'm waiting on a new remote (but it's not the remote's issue, I think it's the software that sets up the remote that's the issue). And they have offered to send out a tech. But I've had it in my house just 8 days, so maybe it gets returned and we try a new one? I mean, you cannot control the cable box with the included remote? Watching Finding Nemo in DolbyVision with Atmos sound was amazing. It's a beauty, but the issue with the remote is a big PITA. I still have faith this will be handled. I can return until March 5 :)

I was the proud owner of a 55" LG C7. This TV replaced it and I do not regret it. The picture is stunning on anything on it from 4K down. Wall Mount is small so I hit one stud on the left side but had to use wall anchors for the right. It does not come with Hardware you need to mount it to a sheet rock wall. First power on setup was easy, it found everything hooked to it on it's own, it has more features than my C7 had. Plus more steaming services built in. Sound: It is very weak and not up to the standard of the TV. Either buy a good soundbar ($1000+) or hook it to your Home theater. That is what I did, I have an LG SJ9 but it had HDMI issues connecting to the ARC port so I was constantly having to change the input on the soundbar. The TV ARC is connected to my Marantz reciever, turns it on and off when the TV turns on and off. I had my C7 professionally calibrated. Now this TV comes with preset video setting from ISF for both light and dark rooms! The C1 is a great TV for the price but if you want to go a step up then get this TV. It is worth it and you will get a lot of enjoyment out of it. Feed it a good signal!!!

Prior to purchasing this TV I did a lot of research. Looked at the Sony‘s went looked at the newest Samsung and hands-down by far the picture on this TV was excellent quality. The picture is crisp, clear, very detailed when you’re looking at scenes that are mountainous or with grass. If you are looking for a TV that’s going to have superb picture excellent bill quality this is the TV for you. The flush mount is unbelievable it looks like a picture frame on the wall. As with anything you get what you pay for and definitely with this TV you get exactly what you pay for superb picture excellent quality build and the TV that I think will last you quite a while.

Fit perfectly over the fireplace and the wife acceptance tight install clearance to the wall with hidden surge protected power and the Apple 4K 64 box is special. The LG G1 77 and 65 oleds are the closest near black I’ve seen since my Pioneer Elite 60” Kuro display.

Expensive but very happy with the picture quality and sound.

There is the LG G series, and there is every other TV out there. Don't bother with the rest - there's no comparison. If you don't mind it sticking out of the wall, or are just standing it on a console, you can save a lot on the LG C-series and get the same quality, but if you want flush-mount (which is great for a smaller room), the G-series is the way to go. When I first saw this TV on display, it stopped me in my tracks and I'm incredibly happy to own it. It's stunning and has the best picture I've ever seen. The art display is incredible, too - the paintings look beautiful. Mounting notes: when they say flush-mount, they MEAN flush-mount - you will 100% need a recessed outlet box for this, and I recommend professional mounting. There's maybe a couple millimeters of space between the TV and the wall, that's it.

The LG G1 OLED is an excellent TV. I had the C7 OLED prior, and this TV gets brighter. The thin profile and included wall mount makes for a perfect installation. I had some hesitation in purchasing this TV in fear of the compatibility with my Sonos Arc. There are a lot of forums out there that have people experiencing issues with sound output (Atmos) from their TV, when trying to use the Sonos system. I will tell you that the install was seamless. I have used (3) of the available HDMI ports. My Sonos Arc is plugged into the eARC port. I plugged my Xfinity box and Apple TV 4K in two other ports. The TV connected to everything without issue.

My old Sharp Panel died and my wife and wanted an OLED that could mount on the with low profile. This LG does the trick. Excellent picture quality and looks terrific on the wall. Best picture I have even owned. Geek Squad did install and it is perfect.

I really LOVE this TV. great picture quality and functionality. Regarding picture, I’m a gamer w/ a switch and PS4. I had been playing FF15 on the PS4 on my old TV. After we installed this one I turned on the HDR feature and was blown away by the difference in picture quality and color vibrancy. A couple of points - this TV does not come with a stand. You can buy the LG legs to put on the bottom but given the size and how thin it is, I opted for the back mounting stand that Best Buy sells which is compatible. I recommend that, as it is extremely sturdy and heavy duty. I also recommend professional installation, even on the stand. I also recommend a sound bar. The sound isn’t bad with the native speakers, but I guess as a function of being so thin you can only pack so much oomph inside.

At first, I was a little hesitant to go for a OLED, since our room is pretty brightly lit. However I must say that I am happy with the purchase. The daytime viewing is not an issue and the sleek finish of G1 makes it look amazing.

I have been really happy with this t.v. The picture is amazing, and gaming has been a blast. They even recently released an update to make it a bit brighter, and it's noticable. There is an issue with flicker on VRR 120HZ, and it isn't fixable, but playing on VRR 60 is great with no issues.

Top notch TV fantastic picture. Sound quality is not the best but I could care less, always use a external sound source anyway. Didn't come with stands but that was no big deal had to buy an extra stand. Does come with wall mounts which I might do someday. My only complaint about the LG OLEDs is not a big fan of LG's remotes. The buttons are undiscernible with your fingers and they're not backlit. they should either better define the buttons or put a backlight on them.

Hello I had this 0led g1 for 3 weeks I did several performance tests image does a good job in native 4k and image scaling lg oleds are all terrain for movies, series, sports and games the only problem is that the screen brightness does not compensates in a well-lit room it is recommended to use it in a dark room. The difference to the c1 model is the design and construction of the screen to resist more time of use.

This OLED has an EVO panel. It is significantly better than a non EVO panel, my last TV was a Samsung QLED 8500 series. I thought that nothing was as good for picture quality and brightness in my sun room. This EVO panel is better in color depth,, sharpness, and contrast, even in a sunny room! My son has a non EVO c1, and my TV is significantly better. I needed adjustments to get the picture quality to be a s sharp as the Samsung, but with the blacks and no bleed thru of the whites, this TV Rocks! I Highly recommend this unit for any application, but out of the box setting will not give you the picture quality that you have paid for. As a note: this is the same EVO panel used on the C2, but the C2 has a faster processor, that I doubt gives any more picture quality,

Had the 2nd gen LG OLED which still works and was moved to the bedroom. This model is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend for 4k movies and next gen gaming.

The picture is AMAZING and the setup is easy. This 4k OLED TV is INCREDIBLE because it allows you to adjust the settings to satisfy your desires. If you have a family that plays video games like the PS5 or XBOX it does have the HDMI 2.1 port I suggest you do two things. Although it comes with its own mount I would 1. Get it PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED 2. Get a QUALITY MOUNT (Mounting Dream TV Mount with Sliding Design for 42-70 Inch TVs, Easy for TV Centering on Wall, Full Motion TV Wall Mount Fits Most Smart OLED TVs - Easy to Install on 16"~ 24" Studs, Extend to 19")

What can I say it is OLED. I can only compare to a B model I had I think it was the b9. OLED is getting even better and if you want the best picture quality you have to go OLED

This is a great TV! The color just explodes and the sound is fantastic! Our old TV was 12 or 13 years old so you can imagine the difference. It is worth the price. The old movies are new again. I don't have any 4K movies yet or a player so we are anxious to get them.

Great picture. The blacks are outstanding. The sound is also much better than other LG OLEDs that I’ve owned. I’m very happy with my purchase.
