Fantastic experience from purchase to setting up the TV and enjoying its stunning picture quality. Highly recommended for folks looking for an OLED that provides superior picture quality even in well lit rooms. Love this TV, would purchase again.

I’m obviously going agaist the grain here by giving this TV only three stars. Actually, I had considered only two, but then thought better of it. My main gripe is the brightness. Both my wife and I agree that the picture can be far too bright in certain circumstances, and this is even with the OLED Pixel Brightness set at zero ( on a scale of 0 to 100). I did everything I could in the Picture Settings in order to dim the picture to an acceptable level. It’s now passable. And don’t get me started on LG not allowing the customer to override HDR and keep the picture settings they input. Luckily, I was able to stop both my TiVo and Roku from passing HDR content that would override my settings and make the picture so incredibly bright and saturated that it was unwatchable. Yes, I contacted LG and they told me there was no way in the Settings to accomplish this. Really?! It appears to be only a small software fix on their end, but no, they want us to be held hostage by what someone else feels the Picture Settings should be.
Yes, there’s more. My HDMI 2 port doesn’t work. If you do search, you’ll find it’s a known problem with some of the G4 TVs. I also get a message every once in a while that is quite random, telling me that there’s a problem with the TV not complying with HDCP 2.2 copy protection. I couldn’t find anywhere on LG’s site or in the User Manual that the TV conforms to the spec, but there was a site that informed me that the G4 actually has HDCP 2.3 on all four of the HDMI inputs. Thanks LG, for making me search for quite some time until I found that.
I also dislike the remote. Personally, i don’t like the layout or feel of it. Obviously, that’s going to be a personal preference. So, would i buy this TV again? Certainly not, not even if it was a thousand+ dollars less. My guess is that I would have been just as happy with an LG model in the B or C series. However, after experiencing this travesty, I’m rather soured on LG TVs altogether.

As expected, this OLED is top of the class. However, there are some ongoing issues which LG has recognized. Most important is a problem with HDMI 2. Specifically, when switching between HDMI 2 and the other inputs, HDMI 2 weather does not have a picture, or shows a blurry picture. LG has stated it will be addressing this with a firmware update. Still waiting for it.

This TV delivers in all aspects. The picture quality is crisp and bright enough to watch in a bright room with no issues. Gaming is incredible and smooth. If you purchase a 55 or 65 inch understand it doesnt come with a wall mount. Theres a specific LG mount required with this tv that can be found online

Wonderful service from Best Buy! One of the best tv’s ever owned. Ryan Heroux was extremely helpful. Knew exactly what receiver worked best with our Polk speakers. The technician who installed the tv and components stuck to the installation because it was a difficult task. Lucky to have the the most talented people to make everything work beautifully.

Amazing picture, one of the best tv’s out there. It’s very thin with multiple hdmi ports. The remote is very good and I’m able to use it with Apple TV. Best Buy had advertised free install with the purchase of every tv but this one, it shouldn’t have had a sign next to the tv if it didn’t apply to that tv.

I have an older C-class 55-inch LG TV in my living room. I bought a 65-inch G4 for my mother-in-law's apartment. I still can't believe how good the picture is on the G4. I like it so much that I'm thinking about replacing my C-class 55" with a 55-inch G5.

This tv is incredible. Theres not much else to say. Incredible hdr, incredible contrast, incredible brightness, incredible highlights. It had ruined going to the theater/watching movies on any other screen. Its amazing.
The only down side is the built in speakers sound like built in speakers. Get a sound bar. I got a cheap LG S55TR for about $220 and its great for the bedroom theater setup.

The difference in picture detail is amazing. The setup had no problems and attaching/connecting all devices (cable box, sound bars, PS system ect) was also without problems.
I have only noticed some pixel blurr when a quick scene change is done in the scene being displayed. This has not occured very often.
I have only used for a few days but have been very pleased with the purchase.

We were very pleased with the sales person. He answered all our questions. He was very knowledgeable about all the TV’s pros and cons. Very patient, professional and didn’t not try up sell to the most expensive. We are very happy with our purchase and installation.

Such a great tv. It looks great out of the box but after calibration it was just that much better. This is my 3rd LG OLED and it just keeps getting better. Highly recommend

Great TV. It has a beautiful picture. Be aware that the 65 inch G4 DOES NOT come with the mounting bracket. In Nov 2024 the bracket was backordered at LG and other sellers. The mount is very nice and results in a flush mount that is very closed to the wall - looks great.

Takes time to learn all the menus and what the features do, but not bad. Great picture. I ended up abandoning my Apple TV because it would not pass through the video properly with my receiver. I'm using the LG WebOS to stream and eARC for sound to the receiver. TV sound is okay, but not great.

When purchased the first time, the tv did not turn on and just had a blinking red light. Called and went ahead and exchanced the tv. The second worked perfectly and looks amazing. First oled tv and im more than happy with it
