This tv and mount is fantastic. It’s so thin and doesn’t compromise performance at all. You will not regret the purchase.
Its surprisingly heavy though, so plan on hiring a pro to mount it if you’re not handy with a drill. And If you don’t plan on mounting it, save the money and buy the CX model.

Amazing television but as far as the evaluation I been waiting for a response but the person that came just assumes I guess I’m going to just blow 3k plus on what needs to be done and I’m going to be ok with it when all I am asking is for a revaluation so I then proceed to put in the order.

Loved this tv. TV being so thin and flush mount on wall gives a very clean look. Mounting was a bit challenge and will strongly recommend a professional. I used a licensed electrician to have recessed box behind tv as directed and tv mount.

Stunning Picture Quality!

This is the first OLED TV that we've owned and we are so glad that we got the LG OLED. The picture quality is exceptionally stunning, deep black, beautiful rich colors. The LG OLED65GXPUA 4K TV has lots functions to offer
Picture Mode - You can pick and choose many different picture mode (Standard, Cinema, Sports, Game, Vivid, Auto Power Save, Filmmaker etc.). It also allows you to customize and tweet the colors to your own personal preference.
The internal speaker on this TV - I notice that the audio sound that came out from this TV is crisp and clear, it also has many different types of sound mode (Standard, Cinema, AI Sound Pro, Clear Voice, Sports, Game and Music),
Useful Functions - It has a screen saver built-in, so when you hit pause, the screen saver will start after few seconds or you can select the "Screen Off" function from the side manual and when you need to turn the screen back on, you just simply wave the magic remote and the screen will turn back on. It will save the TV from any burn-in shadowing.
I also love how the magic remote works, you can just point the remote to the TV and select the function you want, much faster than clicking the up, down, left and right button on the remote control.
We installed the LG GX65 OLED TV Gallery Design in our living room on a standalone wall that separates our living room and kitchen. The TV sits flush against the wall which makes it look just like a piece of artwork. It hangs on the wall exactly like a painting and there are no wires protruding from the TV which is SO nice! The lack of wires and cables showing makes your home space look clean, streamlined, and uncluttered. Really pleasing to the eye.
I can turn on the "Art Gallery" function which is a bit like a screen saver which is included in the TV. It provides a selection of old master paintings in frames and the picture looks 3D, it's amazing! The TV measures at 56.9" W x 32.7" H x 0.8" D and about 65 inches diagonal.

Superior High Tech 4K OLED TV

I had the 65" Gallery Design 4K TV installed today. It is wall mounted so that it sits flush against the wall - the way artwork would hang on the wall. Because the mount bracket is inside the wall, there is no gaggle of unsightly wires hanging out from the TV. There is also hardly any bezel on this model so all you see is gorgeous colored pixels. Honestly, this TV itself is a piece of art. It is high tech, smart, sleek, and sexy.
My living room has never looked better than with this TV on the wall. The OLED screen provides superior contrast and true black colors. The OLED colors on the screen are extremely impressive - they are truly rich and jump out at the viewer. There are many options in the setting for the television including different viewing modes other than standard, such as cinema, vivid, HDR effects, Expert (bright room), Expert (dark room), auto power saving mode, sports, game, and film maker.
This 4k TV has fluid movement for watching sports and for games so you don't miss any action. I have a whole host of movies lined up waiting to be watched this weekend. The sound from the TV is incredible. I never thought I would say that about a television, but there you have it....I am hearing wonderful rich sounds from this TV before even hooking up my sound system. They have different sound modes other than standard which include AI Sound Pro, cinema, clear voice IV, sports, music, game. The TV sound output can connect to Bluetooth, internal TV speakers, WiSA speakers, optical, HDMI Arc, audio out line out, wired headphones. Any of the output sounds can also be used in conjunction with the internal TV speakers.
The remote control is great - it also has a pointer and you can see a red dot and point to what you want to select on the TV. It's voice activated - so much better than finding the buttons on the remote in the dark. The remote control / TV is preloaded with several streaming channels including an LG channel.
As soon as this pandemic is over, I am hosting a movie night to show off my new toy to all my friends. I love my LG TV and my friends will to.

This television is beautiful inside and outside. It is a stunning black flat panel with the buttons discreetly located on the bottom of tv. When wall mounted it is truly a flat screen tv that is flush to the wall. My living room is not very large and even at 65 inches the tv doesn't take up space. It literally looks like it is part of the wall. It adds a sense of sophistication and richness to the space which I love. My living room is very bright due to having many windows but the picture quality is not affected. This tv has Dolby Vision IQ that evaluates the light in a space and adjusts the picture accordingly. The OLED picture quality is amazing! It is very crisp and bright with true blacks and bold colors with no "halo effect" no matter which angle you look at it from. It has an A9 Gen3 AI 4K processor that upscales most non 4K content into 4K. Even when I'm watching animated movies with my kids the picture looks very realistic. The tv comes with many popular apps preloaded on it and has an impressive amount of apps that can downloaded. A very generous 4 hdmi cables can be connected so having multiple devices hooked up is not a problem. The magic remote can be voice activated and comes with a Netflix, Amazon Video, and Movie button on it. The movie button has proven very useful to me because when you press it all the movies come up with the apps that stream them underneath. Movie nights are definitely better because we no longer waste time trying to find what's playing on all the apps. The tv also has a pixel refresher feature that prevents image retention as well as a screensaver. It gives me a sense of security that I won't damage the screen by binge watching my favorite shows. Overall I am extremely happy with this television. I would highly recommend it to anyone as it is an enhancement to any room and offers enhanced viewing.

I've owned the LG 65" Class GX Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV for three years now, having bought it refreshed at the Best Buy on La Brea. Over this period, it has consistently impressed me with its outstanding performance.
The most remarkable aspect of this TV is how it handles black levels. The blacks truly disappear into the screen, providing an infinite contrast ratio that makes every scene look incredibly lifelike. The depth and detail in dark scenes are phenomenal, far exceeding what I’ve seen in other display technologies. Cameras, in my opinion, haven't yet reached the level of detail and color accuracy that this TV can project. Everyone who comes over gets lost into whatever is playing.
The overall picture quality is superb, with vibrant colors and crisp, clear images. The 4K UHD resolution brings a new dimension to viewing, making everything from movies to sports look stunningly real. The Smart webOS platform is intuitive and user-friendly, offering a wide range of apps and features that enhance the viewing experience.
In conclusion, the LG 65" Class GX Series OLED TV is a fantastic investment for anyone looking for top-tier picture quality. Even after three years, it continues to deliver an unmatched viewing experience that truly sets it apart from the competition.

Finest Display with Aesthetics

I have heard OLED has best display technology in the market. I did not know how much difference it makes until I own it. I want to share my experience on LG OLED GX for three main standout aspect.
Picture Quality
I had Samsung QLED and LG UHD TV and thought it was good enough. However, The OLED really makes the difference. This is absolutely the best display available in the market. True Black cannot be imitated in other display type. It really improves the contrast and picture quality. Also, I think it is easy on your eyes. I had blind test with QLED and OLED side by side with my family and friend member and everyone chose OLED. It attest to the quality of the display.
User Experience
Another thing I am impressed about is the UI/UX. The magic remote is way much more convenient to control than any other TV platform. The internet explorer is way much more computer like than Samsung TV. The remote having direct button for netflix and amazon prime video is another plus. The alexa feature enable me to control the lighting with the TV. Kudos to LG for developing such a nice user experience.
Aesthetics
This is the thinnest TV package with display, chips, and speakers all together. You don't need to have separate sound bar near your TV. This enables true gallery like experience just like frame in the museum. This upgraded my interior and my friends always ask how this is possible. If you are looking for a aesthetics this might just be the best investment you can make. Complete your living room design with LG OLED GX series. Included bracket let the tv to adhere to the wall which makes it feel like TV is actually inside of the wall. I would also recommend this to any office lobby if you want clean and welcoming feel.
This is the TV of the year and the most innovative product I have ever seen.

The picture quality is amazing. I was able to put the TV in "gallery mode" and display beautiful pictures of fine art that appeared to be actually hanging on the wall. Although this TV needs to be professionally mounted since there is no other way to display it, it is less than an inch from the wall and looks gorgeous. The inputs are on the back of TV and there are no visible wires so there is a clean look. There is a always-listening microphone and virtual assistant that uses ‘Hi LG’ as a wake phrase and includes a built in tuner with bright saturated colors and very dark blacks with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 making contrast levels seem more vibrant with ambient light sensor to optimize the content for your room. I have had the opportunity to test all the LG available apps and I absolutely love this ability. I have used my TV for streaming and watching regular TV. The picture quality is mesmerizing and the audio is cinema worthy.

Beautiful technology!

My TV was professionally installed by a local Home Theater specialist company. It took 3 guys about 4 hours to remove the old TV & bracket, install a large recessed box and new wall mount, then mount the TV to the wall. At one point, there were a total of 5 guys at my house working on this. I have since looked at the work done, and I can see that it is more work than just mounting a regular flat screen, but I would still say it is something that I could have done myself. However,I am very glad I didn't have to do it! It is a true flat mount design. My wall isn't perfectly flat, but the TV still sits almost perfectly flush, and unbelievably slim.
The picture quality is impressive. I had a 9 year old plasma screen that was very good for it's time. I swore I would never buy an LCD set because the technology cannot provide very good black levels. OLED was definitely the right choice. Black levels are so dark, I cannot see any light emission from the areas of the screen that are black, but the remaining image is bright and clear. Take a look at the picture of the earth at night to see what I mean. Another benefit of OLED is the viewing angle. You can still see a clear picture over a full 180deg of view.
I had a Shield streaming TV box connected to my old TV, but decided that I would try using the built-in apps on the new TV to see how well they worked. The Smart TV functions (Apps such as Netflix, Hulu,, Disney+, etc) work very well, I have had some issues with Netflix where I have to force close the app and restart it to get a video to play. This is annoying, but thankfully, it is a simple task to close all apps and start over. So far, I have not had he desire to return to the Shield. Great job LG!!
My biggest issue is with the external speaker setup. I have a Yamaha speaker bar and I wanted to have it controlled via HDMI, so that the TV could adjust the volume. I can configure the speaker as HDMI connected, but I can only sync power control. I don't get any sound. I also tried optical, and I can get sound, but no volume control. My final attempt was through Bluetooth. Finally, I can get volume control, but now I cannot control power and I have to enable it so the bluetooth connection will start.
I did find some guidance from LG to help with my speaker bar issues. Unfortunately, the information did not fix my problem. I am now looking for an alternate speaker bar that will work correctly.

This review is for the 65” LG Gx oled. This is my first oled and the picture quality didn’t disappoint! I chose the Gx series because I preferred the flat back with no bump in the back. The Gx series also includes the Atsc 3.0 next gen tuner, which was a must for me. Why Lg doesn’t include this on their Cx sets is beyond me. I’ve always been a Samsung fan, and still am as I own a Qled 7. The led tv’s just can’t deliver the black levels and shadow detail that oled does with its infinite contrast ratio. The Samsung does get considerably brighter though, which is my only problem with oled. The Lg didn’t include a tabletop stand as it’s designed to be wall mounted. Best Buy included them for free as part of a promotion. The Lg’s build quality is superb, and the picture is fantastic! We shall see how it holds up in the long run. Thank you Best Buy for a great buying experience and delivery!

This OLED TV does some things very well and others, well, not so well. The picture is very nice ( as advertised) but there are times when I feel it is a little lacking in brightness. This is not always a bright room thing as it can occur at night as well. I am not a fan of most parts of the user interface. One hugely inconvenient thing is the fact that one person can listen on a blue tooth device but others can then not hear at All. So do NOT buy if you plan to use this TV for Hard of Hearing Folks ( unless they live alone) Super easy to mount and is this TV sit close to the wall?... yes sir it does. Unbelievably tight to the wall. Great looking TV, with the tiniest bevel you can have. It really floats on the wall. Overall great television with crappy remote and IU interface but all else makes up for those defeciencies.

For several years now I have wanted to upgrade our venerable Sony XBR4 (look it up) with an OLED. I always looked at the LG B series. The B6, B7, B8 and then it was definitely going to be the B9. As I have a surround sound system, I didn't need the improved sound of the C or E series, and the picture on glass was "meh" all the LG OLEDs use(d) the same screen so, why worry about that? My wife really liked the W series (wall paper) but the cost was a bit too high, and, again, we already have a sound system.
The I saw this. I didn't even know it was coming--and I knew that it was exactly what she would like (or that's what I keep telling myself).
OK, the whole "hangs on the wall thing" is awesome. Installing the included mounting bracket was much easier than expected. Laying out the wires so that it would lay flat on the wall was a bit tricky, but not too difficult. For the record, if you need to get to the wires after it's hanging, the whole thing can be tilted out on the left side(as you look at it) to gain access to the ports.
You will definitely want to hide your wires in the wall, because...it just looks awesome.
Picture quality: Is great. I don't even think it's worth going into much detail here.
The sound come out of the TV is surprisingly good. I've never had a TV that sounded that good on it's own.
Getting used to the LG Magic Remote is not so magical to me. But that's my preference. But within about four hours, I had the GX mounted, and working with my existing equipment.
One of the (other than the 2cm full depth) differences between the GX and the CX is the voice control. Yes, it's there, and "Whatever."
If you are looking for a fantastic wall mounted TV (Remember, this doesn't come with a stand), This is a great option, albeit a slightly more expensive option which will please your wife because it looks great. (Which I will keep telling myself).

Best TV I've ever Watched

This TV is simply amazing. The picture is incredible. The ultra-high def movie scenes are so bright, colorful, and realistic they jump off the screen at you. You almost instinctively duck when shots are fired, bombs go boom or cars go crashing into things.
It may be a bit on the expensive side but worth every penny. If you can afford it then buy it. If you cannot afford it then save until you can. I wanted OLED so I compared two of the best, this one, and the Sony A9G Master Series. I bought Sony first based on reviews and the fact that I have four other high-end LCD Sony TV's in my house that I love. I have to say the Sony got a lot right on the OLED set. The picture detail is fantastic. It rivals LG, no about it. And I've always like Sony's color schemes. However, I was extremely disappointed in the Sony A9G when watching movies that were shot in low light or in ultra-high def that are to be viewed "as the director intended". The picture is just so dark you cannot make out the faces of the actors. I do not think that is how the director intended it to be watched. No matter what I did to adjust the picture, i.e., backlighting, contrast, RYMCG colors, etc. it never got better. It was infuriating and so disappointing. After a week of struggling to manually adjust the settings to improve the dark scenes I could not take it anymore! I took it back and brought home the LG GX Series.
Wow. What a difference right out of the box. I did not have to adjust a single thing. The scenes are bright and beautiful even in when the casting is purposely dark for affect. And the colors are so intense and vivid its breathtaking. Sony's attention to detail is as good, but that is meaningless to me when the scenes are so dark, or it takes an engineering degree to find the perfect combination of adjustments to the settings. A TV this expensive should not require a lot of work. You will not be disappointed by the LG GX Series. If you bought the Sony maybe it is not too late to get your money back. But if it is, don't go view the LG, you'll want to hit your head against the wall.

All I can say is WOW!! This TV is absolutely stunning! The quality is unmatched. The installers did an amazing job, everyone who has seen our TV can't believe how flush it is agains the wall. I absolutely love that I have instant access to Netflix, Amazon, Youtube, etc without having to switch back and forth between inputs. I've watched news, movies, reality TV, comedies, and more and every thing I watch is better than the last. The quality is amazing and really feels like the show is right there in front of me. A feature I really love is being able to airplay directly from my phone without having to change a bunch of settings like I had to on my previous TV. Another great bonus is the masterpiece setting- the works of art are amazing and the frames look practically 3D. I would highly recommend this TV to everyone!
