First, please understand that I have not owned or even had a chance to view a OLED TV - other than what is on demonstration in the stores. I did some research, and I knew the amount of gaming that took place - most likely a OLED was not the smartest decision. I budgeted myself and started looking. It was time to upgrade from my Samsung. This teamed up with my Panasonic UB820 really makes for a pleasant movie experience. I think I'm still going through the settings and finding what works / looks the best in my room -- but I'm using RTings settings for the LG B8 as a reference point. Right now movies look great! Cable even looks really good ... and just as importantly, Games look fantastic (Xbox One X & PS4 Pro) Setting up the "Magic" remote was a snap and everything works perfectly with it. This is a great TV and getting it on sale makes the experience even more enjoyable. If your concerned that gaming will cause "burn-in" on an OLED, this is the perfect middle to consider.

I walked in to get the newest '65 Sony TV, when I was shown the LG Nano '65. I was blown away by how clear it was. I've had it for a month now and I love it. They got this one right. Nice colors and very sleek.

I came in for the Vizio p-series and walked out with this LG. I Love this TV. The Smart features have allowed me to cord cut with ease. The picture is awesome (you do need to adjust settings and maybe turn off the local dimming for dark films like horror films). The picture is beautiful though.

I did a ton of research on every tv within my price range and I got this one on sale two weeks ago. This is my first 4K tv, but my previous tv was very a expensive Samsung from a few years back. The jump in picture quality was huge to say the least. It has beautiful colors, and can produce some very deep blacks. The webOs works flawlessly and I'm confident that it's better than what other companies offer. Gaming on this tv is super smooth and will be even better with hdmi 2.1 technology coming soon. This tv has one flaw which is light bleeding (hallowing) in certain scenes, but the overall picture quality makes up for it. I love watching Netflix and Hulu, but I've yet to calibrate it to make cable look better. My family has been very happy with this tv, so I don't regret this purchase at all.

Good TV, but too much blooming for me.

I think this is an fair TV for most people. Colors are vibrant and natural looking. Brightness is very good. Contrast is very good. Blacks are reasonably deep with Local Dimming turned ON. SDR playback is good. HDR playback is very good. Input Response (playing video games) is just ok. Motion handling (playing video games) was sometimes blurry. Overall I liked the TV, but that being said, I still returned mine because the blooming was too distracting to me. I watch a lot of horror movies with dark scenes so it kinda makes for a less than desirable viewing experience. Even after calibrating the screen using the guide from RTINGS, I could not get it to my personal liking. When running a local dimming test, the transitions are very abrupt and the dimming zones seem few and quite large. I could only detect 4 large vertical columns. The blooming is far reaching and creates a hard line of light along each edge of each dimming zone. I also noticed some dirty screen effect (DSE) on the right side of the screen when playing a Red Dead Redemption and Madden 19... To sum it up, If you use this TV in a well lit room I think you will be happy with it. If you use this TV to watch horror movies in the dark, you may find that the blooming is too distracting.
