Good picture, poor reliability for streaming
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Network card issue forced us to disconnect the network card within 2yrs, so no longer internet connected, so no firmware updates can be done. 5yrs from purchase the TV randomly turns off when streaming from an AppleTV or FireTV. Picture is great though…

Not a great picture for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this TV now for four days and have been fiddling with the picture settings non-stop and this TV just doesn't look great. If you watch a 4K nature video on YouTube it looks awesome, but try to watch any regular TV program or movie, or a sporting event and you will not be impressed. The color, clarity and resolution are barely better than my 8 year old 37 inch LG. I'm returning the LG and will probably buy a Samsung.

Software is Terrible, TV is Good

My tv has had software issues since the first year of ownership. It randomly turns on and goes to max volume on its own. This problem is random and pretty much renders the tv useless until it decides to fix itself. I’d give this tv 4 stars if I didn’t have that issue.

Great picture but several component problems

I had it for approximately 3 weeks and then the whole screen went out. After much hassle with Best Buy I was able to return it for the same model, but a new TV. The new TV I received I had for approximately a month and then a purple vertical line appeared in the TV. A yellow line followed soon after. Best Buy was absolutely no help but LG fixed the TV for free. Since the fix I haven’t had any issues. The repair person who assisted me told me he has fixed several of these TVs with the same issue. The TV itself is awesome and I would love to rate it 5 stars but unfortunately two completely separate TVs have had issues. For the price I paid for this TV I am not satisfied with the product LG has developed. Also I would like to point out that Best Buy’s customer service in helping me figure out what the issue for this TV was a terrible experience. I would recommend LG TVs but I would never recommend buying from Best Buy because of how bad the experience was in dealing with them.

Great TV but problems with HDR
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Whenever I put HDR with either my Xbox One S or PS4 Pro the TV glitches during random scenes. The screen pops in and out of a black screen and sometimes it errors like if there wasn't and HDMI hooked up to the port. Its very frustrating since the TV is specifically made for 4K HDR.

Called Geek Squad it was told screen went out and would be 2 months before part would come in to repair screen. My option was to wait the 2 months and be without a T. V. or return to store for store credit and lose my 2 year warranty.

If I could give it no stars, I would
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so excited to give this TV to my husband for Christmas and it's just been downhill since we got it. We are four months in using it and the screen started going black for a week in and out. Now, the whole thing is totally broken and we have to have Geek Squad come out and "look at it". We don't even know if it will work! Also, it's SO loud. There's no way to turn down the bass and if you have it over a certain point (level 10 which is LOW) our neighbors think we're having a band over to practice and we're just watching TV. The picture isn't so 4K ultra either. Ugh, so disappointed. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TV!!!!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Supposedly this is a smart tv, it is its main feature, this is totally waste of money, because this product fails a lot in its connection to the internet, since I bought it, it has that problem, as a repair, the internet card was changed, six months later it has the same failure, the TV detects the signal strongly but constantly connects and disconnects even if your internet service is the best, the problem is the TV, it also randomly loses the sound, that failure has not been fixed.

Bad but

I thought it was my internet but my friends tv is a Samsung and it doesn’t have this problem. I have 25mps internet which should be good enough to deliver clear picture. Any adjustments to settings have no effect.

Never buy LG TV's

The circuit board died after 6 months of use and although it is still under warranty, I can't seem to get a replacement part to fix it. I have been waiting 6 months already. The TV is a huge paperweight in my man cave.
