I was on the fence between this TV and another from Samsung...I love the way the colors pop on the LG and the user interface is top notch...lots of customization options for picture and fits great with my surround sound system....this tv supports dolby vision and is full array with local dimming...it was a great purchase!

I recently upgraded from a 51” to this 65” TV. The LG SK9000 has the best picture I have ever seen Many adjustments allowing it to be tweeted. I’ve connected it to a separate sound system. Excellent sound as if you were right in the picture. I love the magic remote control which automatically connected to my cable box and sound system. A great TV for the price.

LG SK9000 Series : The picture quality is very good. I like all the features of the smart TV especially the remote control that can work as a pointer on screen. Very easy to set up and use out of the box. Only complaint is that some streaming apps (Amazon prime, Hulu, Vudu) lock up periodically. I also have a Roku and it's apps never lock up. LG sent me a checklist to ensure a good connection to my router. My router is <25 ft away and in direct sight of the TV. I've tried all of the usual items to ensure a good signal/connection including keeping the TV software and apps up to date but still have problems. I will use my Roku rather than the TV's apps.

So far so good....I bought this as open box at Bestbuy for 877$ and very pleased with the purchase. Not a bad price Super Ultra HD with Dolby atmos sounds and vision. Could not get the Magic remote to work initially but working without fail as of now. So easy to switch from one function to another with just your voice. Watched Game of Thrones battle scene on regular HD and was throughouly impressed and was awed by the scenes. Go get one

If you want to see the TV at its full potential you have to watch UHD! Tv is so smooth and easy to operate with the smart remote. The sound is actually surprisingly almost as good as my Vizio sound system. If your thinking about it, you won’t be disappointed. I have my 65’ on a full motion mount and I couldn’t be happier for movie nights.

Great picture and lots of awesome features to play with. Beautiful colors! The best option to get close to the OLED quality. Would not recommend for a room with lots of light or windows because it does have a bad glare. If the lights are off though, it looks amazing! The 1st one had a white light coming from the top of the screen, but I called Best Buy and they were awesome about bringing out a new one and picking up the original.

Although the LG was not my initial first pick it's far exceeded my expectations. Love the picture especially while watching 4k content (netflix is my fav). Very vibrate colors and the LG SK9000 features are beyond what we expected. Set-up was a breeze with the voice commands built in and I absolutely love the interactive remote which works like a Nintendo Wii. LG knocked it out of the park with this one!

Awesome TV! Great colors, movies look awesome! The built in OS is a lot better than Samsung! The remote takes a little bit to get use to, but it’s not hard. Thanks to Best Buy for their awesome customer service and price matching! Just make sure you have a vehicle that you can stand it up in otherwise they won’t let you return it and won’t help you load it. SUV or pick up truck and strap it down!

So this TV is great. Its not an OLED but the blacks are black and the colors are vibrant and rich. There is minimal if any screen tearing, the processor is amazing as well! It works with my alexa, it has all the features I wanted like Full Array Dimming, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. I love this TV so far and I am glad I purchased it. The only thing is, and this goes for the OLED's as well, the TV is really sensitive to glare. If there is any light coming from it straight on you can see glare, HORRIBLY. I had to make a couple of adjustments at my house to alleviate this issue but it was minor. Aside from that i recommend this TV. Also the main reason I chose this TV over the OLED is because the OLED runs the risk of burn in. Meaning if there is an image that stays on screen too long it will stay burnt into your TV screen. The LED tv, this one, doesn't have that problem.

I love this TV. The colors are bright and even though many reviews say that this TV is not good in a dark room, I find it really good. I'm not a TV expert, but I've enjoyed a lot watching 4k movies on this TV. I got the 65 inches. The webOS is great to use as well. I would recommend this product.

This is a really great TV for the money. You can spend A LOT more money and get a better picture but for everyday use, this is an incredible compromise. Voice command is easy to use and very handy. I have it in a room with a lot of natural light and a wide viewing angle and am very pleased with the picture.

I must admit, i'm a samsung guy, but we bought this as it was easier to use for my wife. The internal speakers are great, and I haven't had to use my soundbar yet. Picture is great, and this is really simple to use. No regrets

I wanted to get “local dimming” technology, and this was reasonably priced. I could easily see the improvement in contrast compared to LG’s regular L.E.D. TV. I didn’t try comparing picture quality to other brands. I figured that any minor differences would only matter when side by side. Figured I’d make use of the return policy, and return it if I didn’t like something about the picture quality when in my living room. The sale price & $200 gift card were the main reasons I didn’t look very hard at other brands. Consumer Reports shows LG has same reliability as Samsung & Sony. I love the point and click remote, and it controls my Direct Tv box as well. OLED is obviously better, but would rather wait for that technology to come down in price. Also, OLED can have some issues with screen burn in. I don’t know how sensitive to that it would be, but another reason for me to wait.

It’s been a few years since my last tv purchase. It was a premium Samsung plasma at that time and I spent a pretty penny on it. Seeing how much the prices dropped on tvs I was about to settle for a tv around the 1k range. After seeing the TVs in person, I fell in love with the colors and contrast of this LG. I didn’t plan on spending twice my budget but I am glad I did. The colors on this tv are phenomenal. My only complaint about the tv is LGs live channels app lag a lot. But that is an lg issue? Not the tv itself. Other apps like prime video and amazon do not have this issue.

I really wanted the OLED but I've had this for a year now and I really like it. Great picture and some of the best sound (Atmos) I've heard straight from a TV. Easy to set up and the smart TV functionality is great.
