Picture: no issues, looks pretty good, DVDs upscale and look fine (obviously this depends on the DVD's original quality), Blu Ray videos look great (I don't own 4K movies so I can't comment). The LED local dimming seems to operate in vertical bands, not obvious at all during any movies I've watched, but if you go to a black screen and turn on the remote pointer and move it around the screen you can see the vertical bands turning on and off to back light the pointer; I'm not sure if this is standard for all local dimming TVs, but it looks funny and annoying in this scenario (again not a problem when watching video). Smart Functions: TV often fails to connect to wireless when turning on. It seems like things work okay if I wait (sometimes several minutes) before launching apps. If I launch the built in Amazon app before it is connected to the wireless it seems like the app will NEVER launch. I have found two ways to get the Amazon app to work again: 1) restore to factory settings and reinstall and setup everything again (quite annoying) 2) one time I unplugged the TV for about 30 seconds and then restarted and it seemed to work (I haven't tested all variables yet, but this hasn't worked every time). I've had this TV for about 2 weeks, count on problems if you expect to use this as a smart TV. Physical Setup: the instructions appear to have you lay the TV (on the front screen) on the cardboard box it is shipped in to install the stand legs, interestingly however it shows to not wrap your fingers around the front as you do this. I'm not sure how they expect you to carry the load of the TV as you lower it into this position without having any features to hold... seems like handles our something should be provided for moving the TV if you can't touch the front at all. Best Buy Sales Force: apparently Best Buy is not equipped to actually demonstrate their televisions. They were unable to demonstrate Smart Functions, unable to play video beyond what looked like an LG demo, and unable to connect a DVD player (they said they don't have one, seems strange in a store that sells DVD players and DVDs). They told me I had to buy it to actually see any features, and that I could return it within 15 days if I don't like it: in my opinion, this is ridiculous. My 4 star review is not 5 because of the problems with the Smart Functions as described above. I would give the picture quality a 5 for this price range of TV.

There are a lot of reasons not to get this television. If you're looking for the best local dimming or you care about moire artifacts or some other such geekspeak statisitics... this isn't going to be the tv for you.. However, if you're looking for THE absolute lowest hdmi input lag on a 4k television, this is it. If you're playing games where twitch speed is the thin line between quick and dead, accept no substitute. You'll want to disable power saving right away -- For the first few hours the screen was painfully dark. Some people like motion smoothing, I hate it -- it turns off easily enough. I don't care what the AV squad has to say about it, the image quality is good for movies. I mean... It's still 4k. Is it the fanciest? no. Would I be able to tell the difference? Also no. That's my experience -- your mileage may vary. I's up to you to decide what your television priorities are.

The price point of this tv was great. To get a hdr tv at this price was great. The picture is great.

I’ve always preferred the out-of-the-box colors of LG TVs to other brands so when we wants to upgrade our conference room TV at the office, this was the right choice. 65” means that everyone in the room can see what’s going on without squinting. Connects to a computer for use in meetings (use the ‘Just Scan’ setting to adjust for a computer’s video card aspect ratio) and also to our streaming services through the SmartTV apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify etc.).

Got this for our living room and overall it's been great for general/everyday use. The colors are bright and vibrant but not the best for depicting deeper blacks as they are a bit gray in darker conditions. However, not very noticeable for general viewing (or anyone not as immersed in the category or aware of HD picture differences/quality). I will say unlike most TV's in the same realm, the IPS Paneling does make the picture quality perfect from any viewing angle and with the HDR actual 4K is flawless.

Did my homework before purchasing and it paid off. TV is superior to the rest and has quality display and sound. Was easy to setup and program. The remote is unique and well designed (works as a mouse). Directions were a little confusing as far as removal and mounting, but you can work through that with some patience.

I am simply amazed at the picture quality of this LG 4K LCD TV. It's incredible detail and clarity takes my breath away. Watching/listening to a Rock Musical Blue ray connected to an external sound system is like being at the concert. Love the Magic remote with the cursor control, simplicity and terrific design.

After looking at several different options, and prices, the Best Buy salesperson suggested this TV to give me the features I wanted at a price that was in my comfort zone. The picture is unbelievable and the High Dynamic Range is something that I would recommend to anyone looking for a 4K TV.

It was amazing to upgrade from a 45" to a 65" screen, especially with UHD and excellent sound quality. The picture is truly amazing and the colors are especially vibrant. Installation by the Geek Squad made it easy to start enjoying the new experience right away.

I’ve had this LG 65” tv for just over three weeks and I am very impressed with the picture quality. Setup was fairly easy. The only quality concern I noticed was the refresh rate when watching Football.

Excellent picture quality (if not happy with factor settings turn off energy saver), Love the mouse like remote and connectivity choices. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the remote batteries were dead. Not that I care about replacing batteries but it caused concern something else was wrong during set up.

This TV is pretty amazing, remote is a little difficult to operate at first but once you get it, it is fine! Tv seems a little bit more unstable than the ones with the middle type mount style! This tv has a amazing pic quality and lots of color adjustments

The SmartTV features are great on this LG set, I like much better than my Samsung ones. Picture quality is extremely good, and set operates at very responsive rate. Use this as primary gaming TV, and the black levels are amazing.

It has a nice bright picture and good sound. However the flow of motion during gaming and watching sports is a little blurry due to the slower refresh rate. IF these are your two main uses for the tv like mine.. spend the extra money and get a better tv.

Easy to set up out of the box. On screen promos to connect cable and internet. My cable not offering 4K yet, but the smart app allows me to connect to Amazon and Netflix and the 4K is incredible. Without 4K cable, the picture is still incredible compared to my old 1080.

Recently purchased this LG 4K tv and couldn't be happier. The backlighting and color look excellent while watching movies in HDR. The Smart tv apps also make basic user functions and navigating a breeze. Love it!

This TV gives a great picture. The smart TV is easy to interface with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Uses WiFi to find your Network then uploads your data from your router, so E Mail, Local Weather etc is usable from the first time you logon to your network.

Have had the TV for less than 1 month, but so far we are very happy with it. TV has excellent picture. Very impressed by the "smart" capabilities of the TV.
