replacement for on damaged by a baseball
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased one of these about a year ago as a gift for my son and his family. was working great and had a beautiful picture.. until my exuberant 5 year old grandson got carried away with a baseball. It didn't hit the TV hard but apparently the electronics behind the "front glass" are so sensitive that the hit with the ball made the TV worthless. Just use caution near the screen. Apparently even a hit from a Nerf ball or dart will cause damage. The TV is great but they need a bit more screen protection.

I’ve used Samsung in the past and I was very hesitant in purchasing a different brand but I’m not disappointed. My parents bought an LG for over 1500 and for the price and quality of this one I would have recommended them to purchase this on instead- very clear and sharp. Mostly used for Netflix and apps. If I have to say something they can improve it would be the stand. I don’t love it

Ended up having to purchase an LG remote to work certain smart features. We bought the smart remote that is $50 and is better than the one that would have come with the tv. It is in the basement and when you turn it up it can be heard throughout the house (two story). Good buy for my husband's birthday. I just hope he doesn't expect an even better gift next year!
