Customers consistently note the 65" Class NanoCell 85 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV's high definition picture quality and excellent gaming experience. Many are also pleased with its reasonable price and easy setup process. While some users have expressed concerns about the remote control's usability and the TV's edge lighting, these issues do not appear to be widespread.

Excellent 4k HDR tv especially for gaming. Low input lag and great motion rate (120hz) even at 4k resolutions. My only issue is the backlight local dimming. It makes watching dark scenes look horrible. When there's a bright object that moves across the screen, the dimming zones around the object light up and it's noticeable even during real scenes.

Love - the color and sound is super! The smart apps work great! Remote easy to hold and read (wish voice & channel were different colors though) One major downfall - glare is bad. Be careful - when paying for the "set up" the guys would take out of box and put on stand for a "fee" Disappointing because I paid $25 already for this.

So I had big screen TV's before with a refresh rate of 60hz. I'm sooooooo glad I spent the extra money to get this TV (65nano85) with a refresh rate of 120hz. The picture is so much clearer and you can see every motion on the screen.
If you watch, let's say blue planet, you feel like your there. The movies from the 80s im so accustome to watching look like they were made yesterday.
The LG set up was very easy. Anyone can do it. We have a few apps and the TV recognized them. All we had to do was to the passwords in.
I know there were some fantastic sales this season on other TV's but I'm glad we purchased this one even though the sale was minimal compared others. You did get a $75 gift card while purchasing this TV though.
If you have the extra money I would recommend it.
Best Buy as always was a pleasure to work with.

First and foremost, I bought this TV with the expectation to view video content and play games on it whether it be console or in my primary case, my spare PC hooked up to it via HDMI. It replaced by 47" Sharp Quattron which moved to my bedroom. I will say, if you buy this TV, run the software updates first. I had to do this for the Freesync option to be come available to me.
With my current AMD Radeon RX480 in my spare computer for 1080p gaming, this display on ports 3 and 4 through HDMI can output 1920x1080 @ 120hz or 2560x1440 @ 120hz and works wonderfully. With Freesync enabled games stay nice and smooth with little to no tearing. Input latency is minimal just by basing it off of feel alone. I'm usually a snob when it comes to low latency and response but with Radeon Anti-Lag enabled on the GPU and combined with the Low Input latency option for games on the TV, the experience is near identical feeling to my 144hz 32" Monitor with Freesync and VA panel, except at 65" which blew me away and is awesome.
World of Warcraft @ 1440p 120hz capped at 120 fps ran flawlessly as well as CSGO uncapped ran just fine. I have more games to test in the future but as long as your PC can output 100+ frames and utilize the freesync option, it acts as a great living room gaming monitor and would recommend it over and over again. I still have yet to really watch any true 4k content on the TV but I plan on doing that shortly with more "weekend" testing.
Snag or build a decent mid ranged PC, a quality wireless keyboard and mouse, and a flat surface or cart to place them on and have fun in the living room! Definitely glad I made the jump to this television. Met all my needs and purposes so far!

By far the best TV I've purchased. I wanted to get a TV that is future proof for next gen console gaming with HDMI 2.1, and this did not disappoint. The TV has a game mode that is automatically recognized when your console is plugged in. The colors are vibrant with great viewing angles. Contrast is decent and the features are amazing, including Amazon Alexa and Google assistant. For everything you get with TV, there's no other offering at this price point. Great TV!!

Great size, features, easy remote and color!
The only down side is the complete blacks look strange. Like one stripe of the TV will turn on but the other panels will remain off. It's strange

I'm very impressed with the picture quality. I'm not nearly an expert as others but it looks great in our family room. We have a lot of windows and increasing the brightness is important and this one looks great. We have a smaller LG in our bedroom and so the operating system was familiar. I like the magic remote and wish I had that on the bedroom one. We also have a Samsung in another room and it seems more limited in the streaming options. The only downside we discovered was HBO Max App does not work on LG. We have Prime so can get it through that but it was a pain to figure that out. Some of the free channels through LG are quirky but interesting to browse.

Great TV. I also have a LG UN7300 series which is great, but this one is awesome. The only complaint from the family is that it is too realistic. I can live with that. Xbox One plays well on this and can't wait to try this with the series X.
One note is that the remote did not work. I contacted LG and they sent me another one. However you cannot initialize the TV without a remote. I purchased the insignia LG replacement remote and it worked great. My UN7300 remote would not work for the setup, but the Insignia remote worked fine. Hopefully no one else will have this issue, but this is good to know if you do.

So far this TV has been good. It is replacing another LG TV that all of a sudden went out. I didn't have a warranty so I'm saving it to check with a TV repair service. The picture is excellent. My biggest complaint is how noticeable the edge lighting is on a black background. I believe this is typical of edge lit displays but this is more noticeable than any other edge lit TV I've had. Not really a deal breaker since the picture is so great but it is somewhat annoying. The sound is impressive considering the speakers on TVs aren't much to brag about. The picture and audio settings are quite extensive.

I hate spending large amounts on electronics but with the Xbox series x on this tv, it’s an definitely game changing. The 120hz is amazing for someone who’s never experienced it before. Everything is smooth and super fast. Watched the super bowl and the GOAT TB12 win his 7th ship and the clarity made it so much more satisfying on the tv! Also my K/D on warzone went up since I got this tv. Definitely worth the buy if you want 120hz 2.1 hmi and not have to spend 5grand. 10/10 I’ll buy the same one for my bedroom. And I’m sure PH will look amazing on it too hahahah! Great tv.

So far this TV is performing as it’s suppose to. At first I had difficulty changing sources because my DVD player keep switching to it instead of changing to the source I wanted. I first thought the HDMI port was bad but I later found out that the DVD player was causing it to do that. I only hope this TV outlasts my previous TV which only lasted 1 1/2 years. Luckily, I purchased a two year extended warranty which Best Buy stood behind. This TV has a very good picture and the remote control has cool features.

I love this TV I bought it pre Black Friday for $899. Setup was a little more difficult than other TVs I owned especially when connecting my sound bar and the menus take some getting used to. The voice commands are bleh and were much better on my fire tv but that doesn’t really bother me.
Picture looks great for movies, especially if it is Dolby Atmos on Netflix. I bought this for next gen gaming and aside from setup issues with my Xbox (Which I resolved after about an hour going through online forums) it has been great for gaming.

Great TV. The colors are very vibrant and it's clear even in a brightly lit room. The remote takes some getting used to since it's like a pointer rather. The apps are also a bit slow to load, so don't expect to instantly load Netflix or anything, it'll take a few seconds. If it's not a native 4K source, there might be a little bit of blur, especially on compressed cable channels. Video games, YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon Prime video all look fantastic though.
Protip: Make sure you measure your stand because the two legs the TV sits on are pretty wide.

Great quality picture and sound. When watching Netflix or Amazon Prime, we’re just as satisfied as going to the movie. The remote is easy to navigate once we played around with it. The TV was easy to mount on our wall. We purchased the Sanus- Premium Series Tilt Wall Mount and it is really a huge plus when company comes and we can tilt the TV as needed. And it is so secure that we don’t worry about it not being strong enough to hold the TV and don’t worry when we are tilting it.

I am so glad I decided to go with the LG Nanocell tv. Our Samsung 65” just randomly had issues with us and we were able to get a store credit. I saw the Nanocell and was very interested in it. Let me tell you the quality is amazing in this tv. The smart remote is even better. The tv can come with Google assistant or Alexa as well. This is a great tv if you cannot afford the OLED from LG. The Nanocell has perfectly quality and your shows and movies look amazing. I highly recommend this tv.
