After a recent move I needed to get a new TV and I have always been a fan of LG TV's so naturally I started looking for one by them. At first I thought I'd jump all in on the OLED game but the idea of paying $2000 for a 65 inch OLED repulsed me because, well, I'm cheap. Enter the Nanocell 90! After reading many reviews and watching countless YouTube videos about this model I made up my mind. I walked into the store and told the lady exactly what I was there for. While she went in the back to make sure it was in stock I took the opportunity to check it out in person and I knew then I made the right decision. Within 20 minutes I was on my way home with my new TV. First off, don't be me and unbox and set it up on your own. Recruit a friend. While not terribly heavy considering it's a 65 inch TV it is a 65 inch TV and a bit awkward to unbox and install the feet on your own. After getting it on it's new TV stand in my living room I connected my Spectrum tuner, AppleTV, and the Bose TV sound bar which was an impulse purchase when I got the TV. I connected it via Ethernet to my network and proceeded to power up and get it all ready to watch. This is where I ran into my only complaint about the TV, it's remote. The LG Magic Remote is great in theory but not so great in implementation. My main complaint with it is the on screen cursor. Royal pain in the rear if you ask me. And I cannot find any setting to disable it. When a menu comes up I click on the D-pad on the remote so that is my work around for now. The picture on this TV has to be seen to be believed. The local dimming zones in the right room lighting makes me almost believe I'm looking at an OLED screen. The LG hype is real, this is a truly amazing screen. Colors are darn near perfect and if you enable cinema mode you'll love watching even boring movies. One of my key buying factors was Dolby Vision HDR and this TV more than delivers. The 4K picture is simply amazing. With the right content you'll see details you never thought you could. Inclusion of eHDMI-ARC is nice and another buying criteria as I was trying to future proof as much as my budget would allow. I feel. I'm set for at least five to seven years before even needing to think about upgrading again.

The LG NanoCell does not disappoint. It is considered a midrange TV with a very reasonable price. LG's WebOS is easy to use and very intuitive. We've watched movies on BluRay, nature documentaries and TV shows on streaming, everything is upscaled and improved by this TV. I will say, any older movies on disc or Wii games (which are over 10 years old) will not look as good but that's to be expected. As others have mentioned, there is a slight learning curve with setting the picture how you want but otherwise we are thrilled with our purchase.

With the release of the PS5 is was time to replaced my beloved Panasonic Plasma TV. I decided on this TV because of the 4K/120hz option that some PS5 games can use. I really like the picture, I was not a fan of early LED TV with high refresh rates, but this one looks very natural. Movies and TV shows look great at all resolutions and gaming is great. For around $1000 its hard to beat this TV. The LG webOS and app store are great. Apps are generally quick and work well. Remote works but is kind of oddly shaped.

Upgraded from a 1080 dlp tv. And this thing is way better. So let’s start with what is cool and good about this tv: tv has free sync for gamers which I am and it works better than my omen monitor on omen gaming computer. So that’s a lot said there alone. In Dolby vision Dolby atmos movies look so fake that it is so vivid. Or should I say real. Not sure. I with that said I really like how this tv looks. No doubt that this tv is impressive. Now, cons: does not receive antenna local channels on its own. You’ll have to buy a separate antenna. But it does get like 200+ internet channel for free without download like Pluto some world news stations and some other types of channels. The programs on these channels aren’t really anything I’d sit and watch. So doesn’t really matter. Now when it’s on wifi these channels take a little while to adjust and something with internet browser. I plugged mine in directly to internet via Ethernet and there is a big difference. This tv will not be able to do ESPN app or HBO max app. Which to me is whack. But you can get both those on an Xbox so it’s fine by me. Tv will do Disney plus and Netflix Hulu and much much more. This tv is great! I love this tv so much I am planning on getting a bigger one for the main living room. It is impressive. Oh and the remote is cool too. It’s easy. Makes things go faster. Hope this review helps.

Did a lot of reach into buying a new tv to replace a Sharp 65 inch LCD. This one surpassed my wishes for picture and sound. Great TV with solid blacks and no blurs. The price at Bestbuy was also critical. This TV went on sale and I picked it up immediately. I have not been disappointed. Very happy. My first LG and will now stay with the brand.

This is my first LG TV purchase and I'm very pleased. The picture is great and even in our bright room with sun pouring in, the picture is clear and details pop. I was considering the 65" OLED LG, but decided to save the money on the TV and add the LG sound bar as well. I've been very pleased and recommend this set up. My kids love the magic remote because it works like the Nintendo Wii remote!

In my opinion, you get OLED quality in a TV that doesn't break the bank. The WebOS system is also super easy to use. I've owned both Sony and Samsung top of the line models, and I don't think I'll ever go back.

Love the picture quality of this TV. It was easy to set up and the built in guides for the streaming channels are quite worth the money for this TV. All the movies are in such high quality and at our fingertips that we have saved on subscriptions and using our home server for movies.

Beautiful picture, great contrast, true black. The remote with the cursor is very helpful even though it tends to misbehave a bit at oblique angles. Great LG store app selection, which saved having to buy an external streaming device. The Geek Squad installers did a great job of installation over my mantle too. Best television I have owned.

I replaced the Sony 900h with the nano cell 90 due to the Sony not supporting VRR and ALLM in the 900h. The lg is amazing the picture is amazing and colors really pop. The OS is easy to use and I love the magic remote. This is an IPS panel which means it has great viewing angles and there is almost no reflection on the panel. I have a fairly bright living room so works great. This may not be the right fit for viewing in total darkness.

After 5-6 months, we've been very happy with the quality of the NanoCell TV. In addition to the quality of the TV, my faily is very comfortable using the LG "Magic Remote". It was also easier to control the Verizon FiOS cable box, Polk sound bar, and LG Blu-Ray player with the LG remote as compared to some universal remotes we tried.

Straight out of the box the screen was cracked. It was not visible until you turned it on. The store did not have a replacement, or ANY of the 65” LG they had on display, so I drove an hour away and paid $200 extra for the only model they had available. I ended up with the Nano 90, which had some design differences, but that’s about it, not a $200 difference in my opinion. As far as the tv itself, it’s aesthetically pleasing and has an art display feature, which my wife loves, being an artist. The tv is not 3D but the art frames looked real, with depth and definition. If you like LG, you’ll like this TV.

I’ve had a couple other LG TVs and loved them, last year I decided to try a Samsung curved 65”, well almost exactly a year later that Samsung decided to stop working, so went with another LG and could not be happier. The magic remote is awesome, the picture and sound are awesome, and with LG I have the peace of mind that this TV is going to LAST.

I was hesitant to buy this tv because of the IPS panel. After returning several VA TVs this one is the one I am keeping. We use it in a light-controlled environment but it still outperforms the other TVs. The clarity and color are great, HDR is good and motion is great. The contrast could be better, but for me, the pros outweigh the cons.

I purchased this LG for my son for Christmas. This model LG 90 series is way better than my Sony. It seems to have a built in sound bar. The picture quality is great for the new play station (240 motion rate). Has all the built in apps and and magic remote control. LG has really stepped up there quality and iam impressed.
