Good Picture Quality Not So Great Design

Let me start with the bad. The initial set up "script" was very nearly stroke inducing. At some point as I was hitting buttons like a pigeon trying to get a food pellet I set off this voice assist thing that I could not stop that described everything the remote mouse pointer went over. The remote does not have buttons with the standard icons or labels like you know Menu or back and this remote has a lot of functions. I do not know who designed it but I hope they die a slow painful death. Lastly, the farthest screw holes to attach the mount are only about 10 inches from the bottom of the TV. So now I have roughly 10 inches of mount bar hanging out from the bottom of my TV and a sinking feeling the TV will eventually come tumbling off the wall. The layout of the HDMI connections was also not well through out at all. There are two HDMI connections on the side making them easy to get to easy to use. The other two are right in the middle of the back of the TV. Which meant for me it was a three person jog to use them. Two people to pull the TV off the wall and hold it while a third person plugs in the HDMI devices ... again slow painful death. By the time I got the TV on the wall and set up I was very close to boxing the TV back up going back to the store with it I was so angry and frustrated with the User Interface and the design. The good. Once you finally master the remote it has a whole lot of functionality that does come in handy. This is a proper smart TV so you can put Netflix and Amazon Prime and other apps right on the TV with is nice. Having four HDMI connections is a nice upgrade for me. I have an Xbox, a Fire Stick, a DVD Player, and the Cable Box to hook up to the TV so it is nice to be able to have them all connected at the same time. Lastly the thing that did keep me from boxing the TV up and taking it back. It does have a very nice picture.

This is an excellent TV, but be aware, that there are some odd nuances with OLED tv's. I will tell you that the picture WILL retain. If you sit too long on a image such a logo, which all channels do, it will retain. It will most likely go away, but OLED tv's have to be handled with care unlike LED's which can be left on forever, be held with a static image. I had the TV for 2 weeks when I noticed some retention, and it scared me into buying the warranty, only because the BB warranty covers burn in, which retention can turn into. But if treated properly, the picture is incomparable...

65” oled lg is a great tv, remote is like a Apple product very user friendly. Sound quality is poor but I knew it was gonna be and needed a sound bar. Went from a 50” Pioneer Plasma to this and I’m happy with it altogether I might have been satisfied with a 55” and save some money because the 65” is crazy big. One negative about remote is no illuminated buttons.

The depth of color is fantastic. I honestly had reservations when looking to upgrade my TV to 4K thinking that 1080 was good enough, but when I set my new TV up and actually got into watching movies and playing video games I knew I had made the right choice. Best television I have had by far. The picture proves that LG knows what qualities consumers want.

I spent a lot of time doing research before making this purchase. The deciding factor for me was when I went to the store and asked them to put the exact same 4k movie on three different models running the same content at the same time. The comparisons were not ever close. The Best Buy in my area was awesome and even helped me with extended financing

Been a Samsung tv owner for decades, and planned on buying a new large screen QLED. Got to the store and resisted what I saw, which was a superior picture from the LG OLED, for hundreds less. Have the tv mounted in a 13x13 room and the quality of picture is phenomenal, and the tv itself with tons of smart functionality is easy to use. Love it.

We searched and searched for a tv that met our expectations all around (picture, quality, price) and this is definitely it. We were debating between this and Sony Oled. The two TVs are pretty close in comparison however this one is 1,000 cheaper. The picture is clear, the sound is decent, and it’s aesthetically pleasing. I would buy it again.

The LG B7A is everything you expect from a premium television. It's not the brightest television but the OLED PANEL is superb. The tru-motion settings are not refined yet. Web OS 3.5 is user friendly and the content store is easy to navigate. The on board player does well with an assortment of media. It can process hardcore 4k video and up convert highly compressed video files. The onboard sound is ok. But really. Who spends this kind of money on a TV without at least a sound bar if not an all out sound system. I would highly recommend this televion for most viewing circumstances. The only exception would be areas that get incredibly bright direct sunlight areas .
