This was my first OLED tv purchase, and while I had high expectations of the picture quality (and trust me, you’re gonna like the way this tv looks), what really struck me was the internal speakers on the television. The tv’s native speakers onboard are the best speakers I’ve heard in a tv. Very much a pleasant surprise. The onscreen menu is a point a click where the remote doubles as a pointer, making navigation quick and easy to set up sleep timers, speaker and display settings. 10/10 would recommend!

This TV is excellent, great picture, a little darker than an LCD so if you have sunlight aimed directly at the TV that might be a small issue, but even in the daytime it is fantastic. Colors are rich and deep. No LCD halos (which is definitely something you notice after using this TV and then going back to watch an LCD screen). And I have noticed reduced eye strain as well, which may possibly be attributable to the fact that each pixel is lit individually. Overall, highly recommended.

I wanted to try an oled tv and saw this at a great price. It really is a great tv and the colors are amazing. I am still trying to figure out a lot of the functions this tv has because I spend little time at home due to work. The only problem that I have is not with the tv but with the apps that are on this tv. My last tv had twice as many apps and is 8 years old. Maybe someone could inform me about the apps. The main app I normally use is watch ESPN and I cannot find this app on this tv.

While shopping for a new TV, OLED's were out of the picture because of the price. After viewing one however, our minds changed. The upscaling on this set is fantastic, and makes all my Full HD DVD's look incredible. The actual width of the screen is no thicker then a piece of glass (no backlighting). The blacks are actually black, and the whites are actually white. OLED is an incredible picture. Go see for yourself, you won't believe the quality...

This TV is loaded with extras and is excellent picture quality. You feel like your in the movie! HDR makes the picture look crisp between bright and absolute black. Is working with my old surround sound system. With built in Netflix and Prime plus allows me to use Alexa for volume and turning off our changing channels on Ota TV.

I'm too early I using this TV to give a complete review. So far, so good, however. Great color, great picture. Easy stuff is, well, easy - turn on/off. Find a channel or the directory, go to NetFlix or the web, etc. Many Smart TV capabilities that require effort to learn to use.
Using the full capabilities of the remote is like prepping for and taking the SATs. LG has a complete manual for use on line. It can be downloaded as an HTML document. It's not really printable. What is really needed is an old fashion printed manual that can be used in front of the TV to practice with the remote. This user would pay for such if LG offered it.

This is a beautiful TV with the most amazing picture with vivid colors and better than usual speakers. I dinged it a star because the unboxing and setup paper is pictural only without a written instruction whatsoever and it isn't completely intuitive. There is no user manual really, even online so takes some hacking at figuring out what/where settings are. Lastly, I noticed the lip sync was completely out of whack. $3k for the only TV I've ever owned that can't sync the audio??? Searching found some videos on YouTube of people that had encountered than problem and the fix appears to be to turn off the Dolby Atmos. There is some kind of adaptive control buried in the settings too.

Great screen, like the OLED a lot. The blacks and dark colors are much better on this TV. Slight quirk... the TV seems to take a long time to attach to my wireless network, and sometimes I have to go into settings and make it connect. For the money this TV cost, I would expect it to quickly and automatically logon on to my router every time the TV is started up (it’s just a big standard AT&T router, so there is nothing special or weird on that end). Still the picture is great & that’s why I bought it. The picture is so good, I wish the TV came with standard wallpaper or screensavers. I would problem leave it on 24x7 if it did...

The picture is spectacular, black is really, really black! The dolby app with the blossoming flowers really shows the color and clarity of the pictures. The 4K sports broadcasts look like 3D, real depth to the display.
I really liked how the TV and Roku just started working together. I can turn the TV off and change volume from the Roku control.

Beautiful TV! Not recommended for rooms with lots of light due to glare. OLED has true black with you can see, but glare could be an issue with background light sources. This is because each pixel is the light source on the TV with no side or backlighting.
Very happy with the purchase and I recommend buying. Find it on sale, got mine for $1950.

I’ve been going back and forth between the B8 and the C8 and I have no regrets going with the B8, especially for the $700 difference ($1,999.99 price week before Super Bowl).
You can talk about specs all day long but the picture differences are not as big as every review sites makes it out to be. Perfect blacks, contrast. Perfect!

The LG B8 OLED Rocks

The image quality on this television is outstanding. The resolution is razor sharp, the color spectrum is full and accurate with calibration, and the black levels are absolutely bottomless. Less important but also good is that this television is also a piece of minimalist art. If you care not only about image quality but also want a great looking product hanging on your wall, this set ticks all the boxes. Two things to be aware of. First, this is an OLED set and if you have a lot of windows in the room where you would place this set, it might not be the ideal choice. This television is not as bright as many others. Second, you will definitely want to augment the sound system with either a very good sound bar or a full on amplified surround sound system. The audio this set produces is not on a par with the visual quality, but that is true for nearly all television sets. Hope you like yours as much as we do. ✌️

Excellent 4K resolution, color depth, contrast, and clarity. Using the on board tuner for free High Def local channels and network TV. Major streaming services are already built in and ready to activate. Color and picture quality is excellent. Best picture I've ever seen for under $2000 in a 65" set.

Unreal TV! Picture quality is amazing. This is the first TV and technology that compares to the picture quality that Plasma brought. I definitely would go with OLED over QLED technology. The WebOS operating system and streaming features is great as well.

We have had this tv for almost a month and are really enjoying it. It has a lot of features we didn’t have on our previous tv, and it has wonderful color and great sound. The size is just right for the corner of our living room. Picture quality is superb with rich blacks and the clarity is also great.

If you enjoy watching movies in a darkened room, you will love the picture produced by an OLED TV. Beautiful colors and deep, endless blacks are the most prominent features of this display type, and this particular model from LG is a great example of the state of the art of this technology.

Extraordinary picture and surprisingly good sound on this TV. Was delivered and installed by Geek Squad when promised. We have been very happy with it.
My only complaint is with the salesman who sold it to us. I told him I wanted to connect a VCR which only had yellow, white, and red RCA cables. He insisted I needed an adapter that would convert the signal to HDMI for $49.95. Not true! I discovered afterwards that the RCA cables could have been connected to the back of the TV using a plug adapter that came with the TV! That adapter accepts yellow, white, and red plugs on one end, and has a single plug on the other end that can plug into the TV.
As if that wasn't bad enough, the salesman added $19.95 to the order for Webroot Internet protection which I did not ask for and wasn't even discussed with me.
