Loved it at First; Now not so much

Purchased my C7 in September 2017. Loved the picture. Within 2 years, though, the TV started to develop "burn in". Not as bad as the plasma we used to have, but bad enough for a TV they claimed was immune to the problem. So i complained. LG service was terrific and they replaced the display even though it was past its warranty. (A clear acknowledgment the TV does not live up to the no burn-in claim.) Hoped that would be the last of my issues. But now the power supply is on the fritz. Just 3 months after the display was replaced. I realize their stated warranty is only 12 months, but really? This is a $2000+ TV! So, I've been on the phone with LG all day. They can't/won't help. All they do is refer me to authorized service companies who either don't answer the phone or won't make a service call to NYC. (Even though I'm prepared to pay for it.) Sorry, i don't have a truck to lug my 65" TV to teh repair shop. Not happy. I will keep trying both with LG and more service centers, but am beginning to feel like the proud owner of a $2500 brick. Oh, by the way, LG recently announced a recall in S. Korea of this exact model TV due to power supply over heating. Coincidence?

This is everything that I've ever wanted in a TV. Perfect blacks, infinite contrast, no blurring, no blooming, beautiful 4K picture, upconverts 480p to 1080p great, just amazing! WebOS is smooth and well designed. If this TV is in your budget, you should definitely buy it, you won't be disappointed.

We went with the smaller bezel model and I'm glad. The picture so far is very good for TV shows and movies. We just picked up the xbox for streaming 4k shows from Netflix, so far so good. Have not played a game yet, still downloading the included Assassins Creed. I was a bit nervous about the possibility of burn in but the associates assured me it wouldn't be a problem.

I returned a Samsung 65 inch due to poor picture quality "off-axis". This LG is view-able over a nearly 180 degree wide field with no loss of clarity or color. The detail in a standard HD picture is outstanding..I can even read most of the small disclaimer print at the bottom of most advertisements. It is everything I needed in a larger screen (it replaced a 52 inch).

This TV surpasses my dreams of a home viewing experience. The images are sharp, clear and uncannily life-like. It's as close as I've come to a movie theater experience in the comfort of my home. Microwave some popcorn and settle in for a new level of television in your home with the LG OLED65C7P. .

I have owned many TV's over my lifetime. This has to be by far the best to date. The TV is awesome in every way. The color, the user interface, the style. I am holding judgment on the remote control, not sure I am a fan of the on screen pointer, but I do not use the remote much, I use another.

Upgraded from a 2015 OLED to the 2017 model. I didn't really think it could get any better, I was wrong. The black level is even darker on this model. LG did away with the curve and the 3D on the 2017. That was not a deal breaker for me. The web OS is fast.. Streaming 4K on Netflix and Amazon is incredible. Extremely satisfied with this purchase and the help I got at Best Buy.

I can’t say enough about the C7. I waited quite awhile to make the purchase (due to price and other factors). The picture is as phenomenal as advertised and as reviewed by many others. I have only had the tv for a month but am well satisfied so far. Had the Geek Squad deliver & set up. Well worth the price. Michael with the Geek Squad did an outstanding job,

    Poor sound!

This first thing that I do not like about this unit is the sound. I have to crank it up to hear very quiet dialog. I am about 15 feet away and my unit in a corner at an angle touching two walls and very high ceiling. I have no sound bar or AV set up yet. I hope that will correct that issue for me. This unit is crazy filled with many settings that are customizable and I love it. If you are a videophile and you calibrate your own tv-get this now. Yes, the blacks on this set are amazing and it made my plasma look very weak. Peak brightness is not there but that helps to provide details in white light.

I have watched 4K tv develop from it's early days. Pretty impressive. And then it continued to grow and grow in quality. Eventually the price was within reach and the desire continued to grow. And then I experienced the LG OLED 65" creation. It was desire at first sight. And I was right to wait- I was right to purchase this most amazing receiver. It is truly wonderful.

I finally upgraded from an old 2012 Sharp flat screen TV to this amazing LG OLED. All I can say is wow! The detail of the images is spectacular. My old TV could never replicate the images at this level. Not even close. You can see the blemishes on a bad makeup job its so good. If you want to get the best image you can get in 2018, this is the one for you.

Just upgraded from Panasonic's last flagship plasma tv from 2014. Wanted something that would be good for years and OLED is the way to go. This is a great TV. Once paired with a proper sound bar it's all I need. Get the 2017 model like I did and save a lot over the 2018 model which isn't that much different unless you have plenty of money to spend.

We could not be happier with our LG OLED TV. The colors are very true and the blacks the best I have ever seen. Sports and movies are very enjoyable and we have become the go to house to watch these events. A nice plus is the little amount of electricity it used vs our Plasma TV. A cost savings on top of everything else.

So far I am very happy with my new LG television set. I purchased this TV based upon the review I read by Consumer Report. It was very easy to setup and the picture is fantastic. You have to see it to believe how thin it is. I didn't know they made TV sets so thin. I must admit that I look forward toward coming home to watch my new LG television.

This television was not on our list as we have been a Sony house for over a decade but the picture is outstanding and we could not see an appreciable difference in Performance between this and the comparable Sony in the store. At home we love it more than we thought and with the exception of some glare in sunlight the TV have not a bad word to say.

This LG TV is rated one of the highest by Consumer Reports, just one reporting publications. The color is vibrant and jumps out at you. No matter how close you get, the picture stays the same. The viewing angle is spectacular no matter where in the room I am sitting. From the sides, it still delivers the picture that you see from straight on.
