Best TV yet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been a Samsung guy for a while but when I got their QLED home I was disappointed. I went and exchanged it for the LG OLED. Man what a difference! Ultra clear picture from all angles, unlike LED tv’s. Great sound. I purchased a Samsung 9500 4k Blu Ray player along with Carbon audioquest HDMI cables and man this thing looks great. I highly recommend this. I still can’t believe how thin the screen is.

Best of the Best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I feel like this review could help a lot of people out with deciding whether or not to get this tv, I just wish I would've posted this before Black Friday. I recently had a 55inch LGB6 that I bought last year on Black Friday and it was amazing picture quality, my first 4K tv blew me away. The only problem was I wanted bigger. I can't afford $10,000 on a 77inch OLED so I went with the Sony X940E. Great tv as well, unless you have had an OLED before purchasing that tv. I couldn't help but notice the absolutely horrific viewing angles and how the picture quality did not match my OLED of last year. For my situation, the 75inch was not worth losing OLED picture quality. So the sales manager at my local Best Buy really helped me out big time because I was past the return period but he didn't want me to be stuck with a 75inch tv that I didn't enjoy. So he exchanged the tv for a 65inch LG OLEDC7 and I am so much more satisfied and perfectly okay with losing 10 inches if it means I can have the best picture quality possible. To sum up, if you haven't bought an OLED before and want the 75inch screen, go for the Sony X940E tv. If you have had an OLED before or want the very best picture quality possible and don't care to miss out on the extra 10 inches, don't wait, get any model of the 2017 OLEDs as soon as possible! They all have about the same picture quality so you're paying for the design of the stand/soundbar. Hope this could help someone and save them from getting themselves into the situation I was in!

Great Picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had a Sony Bravia. After 2 years of not getting the signal we should have we returned the T.V. and purchased the LG. Best move ever. The price may be higher than average, but the picture quality, ease of use, and advanced tech more than make up for it. The OLED makes the picture so clean. Just blows away any T.V. we have seen.

Spectacularly Vivid Picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I began the search for a new TV, I just assumed that I'd be buying a Samsung. I already owned four Samsungs, and I was thrilled with the quality. So, I started reading reviews to basically determine which model of Samsung that I should buy. That's when I came across the reviews of this LG OLED. They were universally gushing, and CNET rated it the best TV on the market at the time. I had never purchased an LG television before, so I went to Best Buy still needing to see it for myself. Well, the reviewers got it right. It's stunning!. There are few purchases that actually exceed expectations. This is one of them. The picture is so life like, so clear, it's truly remarkable. It's so vivid it actually changes the TV watching experience. You can see blades of grass. You can make out lint on suit coats. You can see hair follicles on tight camera shots. I also was surprised by the quality of the audio. This TV has the best built-in speakers of any set I've owned. Even the menu is well thought out and easy to navigate. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Best 4K TV for under $3K
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Out of the box this LG OLED has vibrant colors and no imperfections. Purchased the Planet Earth 2 and was totally blown away. The picture is the best I’ve seen! It has Dolby Vision, HDR 10 & Technicolor capability! Very little tweaking out of the box. Hooked up to a Denon AVR-X4300H & XBOX One X this TV rocks!

Amazing picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easily the best picture I've ever seen. The blacks on this set really make the picture pop in way I've never experienced before. 4K and HDR content looks incredible, but even old BluRay rips that I stream through Plex are upscaled beautifully. If you're a videophile then I'm not sure how much better it gets.

Beautiful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything about this TV is beautiful. The picture is stunning, especially with 4K HDR movies and streaming content. PS4 Pro games are gorgeous. Even the TV itself is slim and very good looking. Highly recommend this TV to anyone.

Amazing TV for everyone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did my due diligence prior to this purchase and everything I read or viewed put this TV at the top. This is absolutely the best picture out there bar none. The black level is what sets this TV apart from most other 4K TV’s. Granted there are other manufacturers who use this same panel but in my novice opinion, none quite as well as the LG. Sony is close but what gave the edge to LG was motion handling and brightness. I watch a lot of hockey and this TV handled the speed of the game better and the picture was brighter, not as bright as an LED but plenty bright. It is truly amazing and if you have the extra money it is well worth it. I just wish there was more 4K content out there to take advantage of this TV’s capabilities. Go see this for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. One last thing... get some sort of sound system to bring this TV to life. Best bang for your buck I could find is the Elac Debut B6.2. Amazing sound for both music and TV. Big money sound for a mid range price

Good, but may not be worth the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The color on this TV is unreal, and the TV itself is super light and thin. The box did not come with the 6M size mounting screws so I had to wait to mount it until those came. Moving from a 1080p plasma to 4k OLED I'm still struggling to get used to the frame rate difference (which I believe is caused by upscaling/HDR processing). The LG OLED is not very smooth in comparison for fast motion. I had read that this year's models had improved their black/grey point but it still seems like dark images go to complete black and lose all texture fairly easily. The brightness on the TV seems perfect, I haven't had any viewing problems in bright rooms. WebOS makes for super easy setup of the magic remote and connecting it to all peripherals.

Great picture and sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well let me start by saying this , I waited a long time to by this tv . I opted for the C7 cause of the sound and cosmetic improvements . so two things happened here, First came the sale and than came my birthday for an additional 10% I could not say no to the best price I have seen to date for this TV. The wait was well worth it cause this tv gives you a BAM picture and great sound quality also the ease of tv streaming . I ditched my satellite tv service and now I have Hulu,Amazon,Youtube tv,Netflix. for the best all worlds with high quality viewing in Ultra Hd , For less than $125 a month including Internet, I was paying $240 a month and than they wanted more for a couple of channels in Ultra HD that price did not include the internet . I am extremely pleased with this tv and the exceptional Service from Best Buy making it great Birthday gift for me. as well as saving $150 a month ,,Please cut the Cable

Best TV I've ever owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is a bit of a premium here in what you pay for this panel but it is the best panel on the market at this time June 2018 in my opinion and is well worth a bit of extra cash. I heard and read a lot around concerns with burn in and I suppose it is too early to tell but as it stands right now having used the TV for a couple of months I really don't think the concerns are all that founded. In normal at home usage it seems really doubtful to me that the image would be static enough to cause any burn in. I think if you are using this set for gaming then perhaps you might be more concerned about the possibility because of health meters and what not but just using the TV for...well TV and movies...I don't think it is a concern. Meanwhile, the quality of the picture is just plain amazing. Can't really comment much on audio as I have a Bose sound bar I'm using so we don't use the audio.

Top level TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me say I'd rate a 4.5 but ratings wont allow for 1/2 stars. Thought long and hard before making the switch from LED to OLED. Overall I am pleased. Colors are a clear step up from LED. I replaced a 55" Samsung 240mhz 8 series with the 65" OLED C7. I was however expecting to see a greater improvement in clarity. Don't get me wrong. There is no issue with clarity just that I was hoping for greater separation with the OLED. Some have said it is more difficult to maintain same levels of clarity as you go up in TV size. I should also admit that I've done a little customizing of the settings but haven't dove heavily into it yet. I'm not a gamer or blue ray. Watching cable (ATT GigaPower), Netflix and sports (NHL and eventually NFL). Fort what it's worth I've find the HDR setting to be the best for NHL as the other settings seem to have trouble with puck blur on high speed shots.

What a fantastic TV set
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My LG OLED65C9 is remarkable. The first thing I watched was Star Wars IV Blu-ray. The color black is a true black, not a grayish black; it made a big difference. 4k with Dolby Vision and HDR has amazing detail. WebOS is very useful. For example, I can quickly switch from Netflix to Amazon to my cable box. I have it hooked up to a good sound system. I can play iTunes music and photo libraries from my PC. There are other things I haven't even tried yet.

Gorgeous
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv is absolutely gorgeous to watch. The colors are amazing. The detail is amazing. And the black levels are perfect. And the tv is so thin too! I absolutely love this thing! If you want a real treat, play the new God of War on it with a PS4 Pro.

Great upgrade from the Panasonic plasma
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant to upgrade from my 65" Panasonic because I wasn't sure I would notice much of a difference in picture quality. I did a lot of research and decided to buy this model since I already had a surround sound set up and didn't need the added sound bar features of the other LG Oled models. I'm very happy with my purchase. I hooked it up next to my plasma and watched the same movie and it's definitely better, but if you're not ready to upgrade, it's not imperative that you do it. I was impressed by how well the VT25 Panasonic stood up to it, but in 4k content, this TV is definitely sharper and blacker.

Absolutely Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After much research and quite a lot of comparing, an Oled is easily the best TV you can currently get. This thing (while watching 4k content) is literally perfect. A lot of people are afraid of burn in.. I can tell you right now, unless you leave your TV on for hours at a time with a still image you won't have to worry about it. If that's not enough, Best Buy offers a geek squad protection plan that does cover burn in just incase you want to be safe. I matched this tv with an Oppo 4k player and an lg Sj9 so i can get Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos which is something I also recommend you do some research on. Atmos gives you the best sound available and dolby vision gives you stunning color, sharpness and overall a beautiful image.. couldn't be happier with my purchase and I strongly recommend this tv.

Perfection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV is effing amazing but I'm sure you already know that. Black levels are perfect. I had to subscribe to online services to stream 4k and HD movie rentals. Comcast HD rentals looks like garbage on this screen. My last TV was a Plasma so I was skeptical on upgrading, plasmas are rich in color and the black are perfect so I thought. When this screen go black you think it's off and the colors are ridiculous. I turn off TruMotion because I hate the soap opera effect.

so far, so good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so far, so good. picture looks great, HDR settings are solid. Doesn't get as bright as my ks8000, but it's still plenty bright, and now I have zero flash lighting from the edges.

65C7
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When paired with 4K content, this tv is mind blowing. Especially when watching something in Dolby Vision. The black level is perfect and the colors really pop against the pure black background. I haven't had an issue with the brightness level or screen burn in. Problem is..there is very little mainstream (cable) content in 4K, making the picture less than admirable when watching 1080p. I bought an Oppo 203 4K player to go with the tv since it also supports both HDR and Dolby Vision and couldn't be happier with the setup. There are also some shows on Netflix, Amazon Prime and Vudu that are 4K and will use this puppy to its fullest capabilities.

Better than expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been very pleased with this TV. I bought it for the OLED picture that looks good in the showroom and sounds good in reviews. The picture is as good as I hoped for. What pleasantly surprised me was the simple logical user interface, and the excellent performance of the smart features. This is my first LG set after 5 Samsungs. The Samsungs get better each year but the speed, features and ease of use on this set are much better than the 2 year old 9000 series it replaced. If there is a problem it is that now my wife tends to frequently use the TV for basic web browsing instead of her high end desktop computer.
