I contracted a TV mounting service to put TV on my wall. I watched the TV for a couple of days and then noticed a light filament issue at the bottom right of the television that was very noticeable when dark scenes were shown on the television. It was very annoying. Never had this problem before in a television. So I had to take the television down and take it back to Best Buy. I decided to go with the 70in insignia 4k TV. I am waiting on delivery now. Doubt if I will ever consider a LG television again

screen issue

If the screen is not dark/black you can't notice it. I first reported this on a previous review. I had received a call, that I missed, and a voice mail was left. I tried several times recalling the number and left a message once. I also tried calling the store I purchased it at and it just rang I tried this a few times and finally after several rings it was picked up. I told the person who answered the details and she assured me the message would be sent that I needed information on what I should do.

This TV went black on within 5 months of purchase

When I called the LG support to report the problem, I was told that someone would call me to schedule a repair. The TV is mounted and I was also told that I would be responsible for unmounting prior to a repair person coming in. This is a 65 inch TV which I paid to have mounted. I should not have to pay to have the unmounted and then again remounted because on an inferior product. I explained to the customer service person that I was not able to unmount a TV. I have a Sony TV, several Samsungs and a Toshiba - some that ranging from five to over ten years old - none of which have had a blank screen issue.

Horrible light bleeding on edges

Great TV

We use streaming services along with antenna TV and Xbox One. HD movies, games and shows look great. Some antenna channels look more pixelated on such a large screen but we got used to it and it may partially be due to our antenna not supporting 4K. The remote is a bit clunky and only works when pointing directly at the TV (you can't face it up like most modern remotes.) Was a nice surprise to see that it came with "LG Channels" and Pluto TV which is a free internet cable service with a decent selection of channels. Worth noting that at the time of this review there are no HBO streaming apps for LG smart TVs. Would recommend if you're looking for a large quality 4K smart TV for ~$500.

Impressive clarity of picture, great sound, ease of use/options, includes several streaming options and presumably supports all. Haven't tried yet. Easy set-up. It's as if you are there, in the picture. All for an amazing price. Wish I'd taken advantage of the free 3-month AppleTV included but I missed the rather short window. Read there're problems even redeeming it. But, never mind, this TV is awesome! Thrilled.

( and I'm picky and wear glasses) The built in channels and apps made me forget about my fire stick. I have a lower internet speed and the tv runs like a champ on it. I've had it 9 months now... and when I'm not watching it my dog watches it while I'm gone. Best present I could have gotten myself:)

Very happy with both these sets. Easy to setup. easy to use. Rather good sound. Recommend to anyone. I retired and price was one of the selling point. I think the price is right for such a good TV.
