Do not trust LG wit their warranty

Need to change it

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I installed it at home, I would say I see it smaller than I thought due to the distance to the sofa. I would ike to change it for a bigger one but apparently I just had 14 days to do that when you normally should have 1 or 2 months. I tried to communicate with Best Buy through the live chat but never got an answer.

The best of this tv is remote. The bad for me: - dark colors has no details - too black - very small view angle. You have to seat straight in from it. - smart tv but very limited on the apps. need to use streaming device.

Really solid TV, I purchased in store
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cost: My roommate and I pooled our money to get something for our dorm--we're huge movie lovers so we wanted something good, but that we could afford. The Best Buy rep in store was really helpful. We told him we needed a smart TV that was at least 4K, and asked him what he could do for us. He wound up directing us to this model, and even knocked off a few dollars since he understood that it was slightly above our maximum cost. Picture: I think the picture is pretty good--not HDR 10 or anything, but still, very good. Again, you aren't spending eight thousand dollars on a TV, it isn't going to change your life, but it is exceptionally good for the money. Remote: The remote works well, but I wish it had a backlight. Setup was really simple. The pointer function is really intuitive, and you can change the sensitivity to whatever you want. This is definitely a huge boon to smart TVs with all the menus they have. Sound: The speakers are really, really good for a TV. I'm probably going to try to go for some kind of atmos home theater package once I get a little more money together, but as of now the tv speakers work really well. I never have issues understanding voice or anything like that. They are well up to the task. Cons: I really wish there was an analogue audio output. We didn't know that at the time and had to get a $30 optical audio to analogue audio adapter, but it really isn't the end of the world. Takeaways: If this is within your budget, I cannot recommend it enough. I really do think you get what you pay for, but this seems to break that rule. If I could have, I would have payed one or two hundred more for it.

Very Happy with this TV.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This TV replaced a perfectly fine 55" LG LCD TV that we have had for 13 years. We wanted a bit more functionality now that we have "cut the cable". Great picture and decent sound though we use a sound bar for movies. The Magic remote works great and controls my Roku Ultra right out of the box. When I set up the TV and told it we don't have cable, it automagically went out to the internet and sucked in all the free content into a guide called LG Channels. over 700 channels. We use this a LOT when just browsing. The only thing I have found that I don't like is the lack of a "input" button on the remote (at least I haven't found it yet). To change inputs you have to navigate the the home screen and select the input you want. Overall, we are very happy with the TV, Love the "Chrome" web browser when shopping together and would definitely recommend. My only regret was that I didn't splurge on a larger screen.

Love The Size - Affordable - Quality A Bit Lacking
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We purchased this TV in order to relocate the previous LG 46" to the bedroom downstairs. I am very pleased with the size of this 65" TV. It fit perfectly on the wall mount we used for the previous 2 TVs. The size is awesome and really is a great fit for our living room. I have been an LG product fan for years. My last 3 cell phones, sound bar, BlueRay DVD player, and 3 TV's all LG brand. So, this is not me being picky about overall quality. It really is very good and maybe it will just take me a little bit longer to get it adjusted to my liking. Audio syncing with the internal speakers and with the sound bar are very tricky. With the last TV, we ended up just turning off the sound on the TV itself. I am finding this a little be better, but am still experiencing that audio echo when using the Optical + Internal Speaker feature. Also, there are more selections for audio on this TV, but I'm not too familiar with how they work. Picture quality is good, especially for streaming in 4K HD. Don't even bother trying to watch anything less than 1080 pixels, though. If it's a TV show airing in SD or 720 pixels, and because of the size of this TV, everything looks blurry to me. Maybe I need to adjust the Picture settings or I'm just not used to it yet? Other than that, I really like it. Overall, a great TV for the size and price. Just a tad off for audio and picture quality. Otherwise, I would've given it 5 stars. Still love LG and would definitely recommend this TV to a friend.

Took this model back for a Samsung 8 Series
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to deviate from Samsung (have 3) and give this model a try based on the ratings and 4th of July sale price. The saying of 'You get what you pay for' applies here. Picture looked great in the store but once we got it home, completely different story. Dull. Dark. Lack of sharpness. Watching sports was like watching a non-HighDef broadcast. Went through all the settings to try and adjust the picture and none really made a difference. Granted, we are streaming through a month old, 4k Firestick but the other Samsung TV's don't have a problem and we have a high end Fios connection so not lacking for bandwidth either. For gaming, the picture looked ok but nothing 'amazing' or worthwhile to make me want to keep it. I will say, the setup was super easy and I liked the 'pointer' feature with the remote but that's it. Boxed it up and took it back for another Samsung. $300 more but the picture in the Samsung is what I would expect for a 4k TV. In the end, you get what you pay for. Lesson Learned.

Cheap, don’t buy

This TV feels, looks and IS cheap. The 2 legs that clip on wobble, the picture is comparable to my old Samsung I was replacing... spend an extra 100 bucks and get the affordable TCL QLED 5 series. 2 star because it worked
