    I ask the sales rep for the best picture possible for under $1,000. I have another LG that I bought 4 years ago and it is awesome, but this one has dull resolution and color. I would have paid more for a wonderful picture. When installed no instructions. I'm an elite member and so I purchase lots from Best Buy..my first disappointment.

    TV quality is good, remote is terrible. Perhaps over ambitious, it is certainly not intuitive nor efficient. Never expect a guest in your house to be able to use this television with that remote. One confirmable experience was that I had the geek squad come over to install a sound bar and Blu-ray. The wiring would be a snap, easy for me to do, but I knew programming the remote would be impossible for me. It took the technician over one hour to program the remote for these two things after about 15 minutes of actual installation.. His comment was this is a 10 minute job with all major brands except LG. If you admire Apple corporation for making digital devices user friendly, think the exact opposite with the LG remote.
