I think that I bought more tv than I need for the space I was putting it. That is not a con. Picture quality requires adequate distance.

Worst Remote Ever, is a deal breaker!

Picture is as expected for a buget LED screen. Sound is very good, 20w speakers are the best feature IMO. So I checked LG site to find a better remote. Their magic remote is $50 more, and not sure it is compatible w 65UQ70. They say the exact replacement "projector" remote is for this TV, which are only $18... (shows how cheap this is) This TV remote is so light plastic, it feels like a childs toy. Also has 40 buttons that are so close together, good luck not hitting a wrong one everytime. Plus the D-pad buttons are not very responsive, require 2nd or more press. In comparing my new TCL with Google TV it has 20 buttons and is a nice "quality" remote. Heck I have a $200 40" Vizio with much better quality remote. Not going to experiment if the $50 magic remote works. Ill go buy another TCL for the same $400 this was. BTW had this LG home under one day, but see the TCL tv is ten times easier to use. No more LG for me.

The straight on view is decent but it does lighten up from the sides. 399 for a 65” 4K LG smart tv. It is a great value all the LG apps.

I have it above my fireplace in a fairly lit room and the brightness is good enough for me and my family. If you're looking for a mid-level TV that is cost efficient I would highly suggest this.
