  • Clusters of defective pixels (TWICE)

    This model seems to have a pixel defect issue that appears as clusters of PIXELS STUCK RED. From a normal viewing distance the clusters of stuck pixels appear as lighter blotches on an otherwise dark background. Up close you can see the individual red dots. First TV delivered had three clusters of defective pixels (see first photo). Not the end of the world, but it was covered under warranty so I requested a replacement. Best buy quickly scheduled a second delivery to replace the defective TV. Unfortunately, the second TV I received was significantly worse - it had about a DOZEN clusters of defective pixels (see second photo). The red blotches are widespread and impossible to ignore. Not sure if this is a manufacturing issue, shipping issue, or just my bad luck... I have requested a return/full refund, and will restart my search for a new TV. I wanted to like this TV and brand, but this has been a disappointing experience.
