We purchased this with the LG washer that goes with this model. Large capacity dryer has no problem with a queen size comforter. The dry sensor works best when all the clothes are very similar in material and drying time, otherwise, there will likely be one or more items that requires additional dry time.

dryer works well. easy to use. only problem was installation. installer moved washing machine in order to install dryer and dislodged the drainage hose which resulted in water on the mud room floor the next day when we used the washing machine.

Seems to be working well, if you want to have your clothes dry faster and more thoroughly, turn off energy saver. Also there isn't a light inside, if that is a deal breaker for you. I got this on sale, so was a good deal for me.

I bought this about a month ago and really love it! It's quiet and holds a lot of clothes at one time. The spinning cycle does a great job removing a lot of the water for easy drying. Great investment and will definitely buy more LG products.

My wife, who nicely does the laundry because I screw it up, very much likes this dryer. It is quiet and totally effective/efficient compared to our last one. Installation was a breeze, even with our venting complications and dryer door reversal. Good value.

I purchased this dryer as a match for the LG 4.5 cu. ft. top loader. Pros: easy to use; useful and customizable features; no static in laundry after cycle ends, so one doesn't have to use dryer sheets. Cons: dry times may need to be extended for thick or heavy items. I put a set of twin flannel sheets and pillow case into the dryer and set it on "heavy duty." After the cycle ended, I discovered that the elastic and surrounding material on the bottom sheet was still damp even though the rest of bedsheet was dry. The dryer has a sensor but it may not always be accurate. I had to put the bottom sheet back into the dryer for another 20 minutes. The dryer does have a feature for "more time". So one may need to make adjustments in dry time for thick or heavy items.

This dryer is great! Extra large capacity more gives more than enough room to dry even the largest wash loads. I like all the features I've used so far and can't wait to see if I do get the alert to clean the vent/duct when it's clogged. Only complaint I have is that it plays a little tune when done instead of a loud buzz like previous dryers I've had. This makes it difficult to hear on the first floor when the dryer is in the basement. Now instead of relying on the alert I just set the timer on my phone.

My 1st dryer in a new home. I bought it as a bundle with the washer. This machine is steady & does the job. I learned how to install & I did it myself. It wasn't as hard as I thought but you really do have to be careful when dealing with a gas line. I ended up going to home depot to get threading tape to make sure that gas line was sealed tight. What's provided wasn't enough. I just purchased it but I hope to get a lot of life out of it. I'm very satisfied & would recommend this machine.

These LG appliances are terrific - efficient, quite and clean and dry well. Very grateful to own them. Many other machines were much more expensive, but did not have better ratings and repair records.

This dryer works very well. It is easy to use. The estimate of time to dry can be misleading. It is a max time to achieve the level the dryness chosen, not the actual time needed.

Definitely not my favorite dryer. Never realized how much I like the drop down door so clean clothes don't fall on the floor. Now, that's not a flaw of the machine, just something to think about. This $800 dryer doesn't have an interior light and the inside is quite large inside - again, something I didn't even think about before purchasing, but I kind of assumed since I have never had a dryer without one. I want to be able to have high heat and very dry on the manual setting, but I am unable to do that as well. I usually have to add time to the drying as there are usually damp items at the end of a cycle. You also have to turn the machine on and then select the cycle and then push "play" to get it going. Who turns on a dryer...usually set the cycle and go! You must think why in the heck did I buy this dryer;I didn't see it in person, I bought it online - that part was simple enough! It is a nice large dryer, but it certainly leaves something to be desired and I would not purchase it again.

We were looking for a larger capacity dryer and this one seems meet the criteria. It does does the job ok, decent drying times. It is a little challenging to figure out how to change some of the cycles. The lint filter does not seem very effective, and there is a lot of lint on the dryer exhaust. We had hoped to eliminate this, as the one we replaced did not seem effective either. One annoying feature is the lack of a light inside the dryer.
