The lint trap says it needs cleaned after 10 loads with water, but I’d say every 2 loads. The lint trap still lets lint fall to the bottom and to clean the bottom, you have to take off the spring attachment that says “replace filter before drying” and it broke the first time

For this model, one helpful step you can try is removing the lint filter and rinsing it under warm water, even if it appears clean. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets can create an invisible film that restricts airflow, which can lead to longer dry times and more frequent cleaning alerts. After rinsing, make sure the filter is fully dry before placing it back in the dryer. Superior Dryer Design

I actually have owned this model for over a year and now buying another for my Mom's house. She loves it. Great features, dryes clothes perfectly and love the door that can be opened from the top or side. The design of this model is superior. I love LG and had superior longevity from their products.

Good Quiet Dryer

It runs so much quieter that my older dryer. I really like the 2-way opening door which is unique.

Would definitely buy it again, love the multiple ways to open the door and very easy to use, gets clothes perfectly dry overall a far superior quality to the old Samsung dryer we used to have
