I was skeptical at first, but now I LOVE them! It’s hard to part ways with an old washing machine, especially after having them for such a long time. All you hear is “how bad the new ones are, how delicate they are, how fragile they are, and how easily they break.” Well ours went out after 15 years. It just so happened to be around July 4, which there were many sales going on. We finally agreed to purchase a new set and after reading alllllllll the reviews I could possibly read about this product, we came to the conclusion that the 5.3 with the agitator was the one for us. I don’t like the impeller style, and wanted the old school, mom washing clothes at home, feeling that I used to have growing up. Mom always said, the agitator is the way to go. Finally, having found the model that has an optional agitator, on sale, and had great reviews, I felt like we found our washer! So far so good.! Live the wifi option and ABSOLUTELY LOVE that it works with Alexa! Alexa will announce over the kitchen located monitor that the washer/dryer are done! No more guessing how much time is left! Or being too early by 2 or 3 minutes and then leaving the wash load in for another 3 HOURS because my ADHD got the beat of me , again, and began another task, finally coming back to a stinky load of laundry 8 hrs later! The wash used to take all day! NOT ANYMORE!!! :-) Save time AND money by not needing to wash the same load again and get the job done the FIRST TIME! I hope these last another 15 years! The washing machine looks nice. It works well. It is easy to use. The clothes come out clean. It is not noisy.

We've owned this LG drier for over a month now and it's been great. Our laundry room is in the basement, so my wife really likes the "smart" feature that lets her know when the drier is done via the LG app, so that she doesn't have to make a trip downstairs needlessly. I swapped the door hardware, so the side hinge is on the left. This was a lot more complicated than I expected, since the manual covers multiple drier models, the instructions are shared, and the illustrations are sometimes a bit cryptic. It took me over an hour and a half. I reassembled it 5 times, and I still had 2 leftover screws, which I could never figure out where they went. I should have made a video of the disassembly, so I could have referred to it during the reassembly process.

My LG dryer is quiet and dries everything quickly.

my old dryer stopped working so i had to get a new one and pick this one! i love that i can open it like a normal door or open it from the top of the door especially since my laundry room doesnt have alot of space. also like that i can turn the sound down since the song is loud and my kid wakes up to any little noise
