This is only a problem if opening top/down. You can still use SWING open for tradition use. I wish they showed a video of the EASYLOAD to show it does not open all the way. Kind of misleading. Also app doesnt work but thats whatever because its not a big loss, just something i figured would work seamlessly. Got it at adiscount for buying matchign washer/dryer.

Rear Control Electric Dryer with Built-In Intelligence. We took delivery of the dryer in December 2024. The lint trap is plastic and open and closes. As such it will eventually break. It should have hinges are another type of open and close design. This does not trap lint any better than the LG model we purchased 12 years ago. The top of the dryer is slopped so you cannot place folded laundry or anything else on the dryer as it will slide off. The drying time overall lasts 10 to 15 minutes too long (even when set on medium for dryness). The light stays on when the dryer door closes. This is not useful and is an energy waist.

We like the color and the ability to put clothes in after the cycle has started. Would give it five stars, but haven’t had it long enough.

I haven’t had any problems with the machine doing its job. My problem lies with the lint filter. One, it’s poorly made and difficult to clean. Most importantly, the strings on our clothes keep getting stuck under the filter and it’s ruining all of the clothes because as they spin,they get all knotted up. It has done this with almost every load. Even tying them doesn’t help. Somewhere there is a design flaw because it’s ruining the clothes with drawstrings.
