    Lg dryer works great. Easy install. My only complaint is the fact that this one didn’t have a full stainless barrel. The one on the floor was the next model up with ai. We opted against that one but didn’t realize we lost the durability of the stainless.

    Have dryer for 5 months - working as expected Needs better written directions on use. Especially about child lockout button. Also start icon hard to see on black background

    Right off the bat, the first load of laundry we dried had clothes get torn up by getting caught near the lint trap. This area constantly catches strings, thin straps, or fabric softener sheets. Unimpressed by this dryer but hey, at least it looks pretty. And as a bonus, because i bought the set from best buy, i wasn't eligible for the LG rebate i thought i was getting.

Please check the lint filter housing and drum seal for proper seating and sharp edges. If fabric is caught, the felt seal or filter frame may need adjustment or replacement. Running the dryer empty for a few minutes can help detect abnormal drum shifting.     This dryer is pretty to look at but it is awful at drying! I continue to get error messages about my vent needing to be cleaned and it stops drying. My vents are clean as a whistle as confirmed by the dryer vent company more than once. Super disappointing and frustrating! If you want your items to dry without having to continually walk in and turn the dryer back on, DO NOT BUY THIS ONE!

If you keep getting “Check Vent” alerts after cleaning the vents, check the internal lint filter and ensure the ductwork is rigid or semi-rigid metal. Flexible foil or plastic ducts may restrict airflow and activate the sensor, even if external vents are clear.
