Great Dyer with lots of room, and love the hopper door feature.

The bottom door had a br9ken peice once i opened it but LG serviced it quickly and fixed it.

This dryer has been excellent. Its has several setting it functions well and has options based on my needs . It doesnot make the entire area hot when running. I have had a year now and it is running great.

I was skeptical at first, but now I LOVE them! It’s hard to part ways with an old washing machine, especially after having them for such a long time. All you hear is “how bad the new ones are, how delicate they are, how fragile they are, and how easily they break.” Well ours went out after 15 years. It just so happened to be around July 4, which there were many sales going on. We finally agreed to purchase a new set and after reading alllllllll the reviews I could possibly read about this product, we came to the conclusion that the 5.3 with the agitator was the one for us. I don’t like the impeller style, and wanted the old school, mom washing clothes at home, feeling that I used to have growing up. Mom always said, the agitator is the way to go. Finally, having found the model that has an optional agitator, on sale, and had great reviews, I felt like we found our washer! So far so good.! Live the wifi option and ABSOLUTELY LOVE that it works with Alexa! Alexa will announce over the kitchen located monitor that the washer/dryer are done! No more guessing how much time is left! Or being too early by 2 or 3 minutes and then leaving the wash load in for another 3 HOURS because my ADHD got the beat of me , again, and began another task, finally coming back to a stinky load of laundry 8 hrs later! The wash used to take all day! NOT ANYMORE!!! :-) Save time AND money by not needing to wash the same load again and get the job done the FIRST TIME! I hope these last another 15 years! Thank you best buy and thank you LG! - one happy customer

It is easy to use. It dries really good! The clothes doesn’t smell bad.

The LG dryer had been delivered previously, but the hose was too stiff to allow it to be placed close to the back wall in the small laundry space. The original installer who delivered the dryer said to purchase a flex hose, to contact Best Buy Customer Service to arrange for that installation, and also to have the door swing changed, as they were not trained to do that. I had requested the door swing change at the time of purchase. This is the first dryer I have had that has been too large to use with a heavier hose. It would be nice for Best Buy to offer the choice of a flex hose or a heavier weight one. I have read that the lighter flex hoses trap lint more easily, so that is something for me to remember to have the hose vacuumed out more often. The original installer did install the dryer with the larger hose so that we were able to use it. We were never without a dryer. Very important. A second set of Best Buy installers came and replaced the original hose with the one I had purchased elsewhere. The installers arrived on time, replaced the hose, and changed the swing of the door, again, due to the small space. Changing the door swing was complicated, but the technician knew exactly what to do! I had just recently purchased a washer from Best Buy and received the same professionalism from the sales personnel with both purchases. As for the dryer itself, I find I need to use the Heavy Duty rather than the Normal dry cycle in order to completely dry some loads; especially ones with some bath towels included. The Normal setting works well with lighter weight clothing. I would definitely recommend Best Buy for appliance purchases and installation. Sales personnel and installers for both appliances were very professional and knowledgeable.
