This dryer is great and we love it. The door opens either from the top or from the side (the door hardware can be adjusted for the door to open from either side).

We had our previous LG dryer for over 10 years without a service call or hiccup. We decided to upgrade and move the older units to our lake cabin. We liked the steam setting on our previous LG, but you manually had to add the water. Now the hose connects directly to the washer water line, so it handles the addition of water automatically. Plus, I admit to being intrigued by internet connectivity. It has exceeded my expectations. The dryer sends a notification to both my cell phone and iWatch automatically when a drying cycle is complete. Plus, you can check the amount of time remaining on the LG app. This is a terrific dryer. TIP: It tends to go on sale every few weeks.

In terms of drying clothes, the dryer performs well. However, the flow sensor is the WORST ive seen on any appliance. I constantly have issues with the dryer telling me the lint filter or duct needs to be cleaned when they are both clear. It got so bad I had to turn that sensor off. Even after a light load that had no lint the sensor was still triggered. Had I known about this issue, I likely would have not purchased this model. Also, the metal piece above the drum and below the control board is really flimsy to the point leaning on it too hard will cause it to dent, which shouldnt happen in a dryer that costs this much.

This LG dryer is outstanding, this is our second one. I our first one last 9 years and probably could have gone longer, but we decided to go ahead and purchase a new one.

This dryer is easy to use, but I often have to add minutes to the end of a cycle to get everything dry.

Excellent machine. Quiet. Fantastic drying options. Superior capacity. One of the things I like the most about this dryer is the fact that the door can open from the top for easy loading directly from the wash machine. A great engineering design. We’ll see if it stands the test of time…

Every time I use the washer and drier , it’s an amazing experience, the clothes come nice and soft. Large loads are no issue at all

Works well although the dry sensor could be better as it sometimes stops with a small load and some clothes are still damp. My 13 year old dryer I replaced didn't do this as much. Also, the "Normal" cycle includes "Energy Save"r which just runs without heat for the first half of the cycle so I use other settings as I don't see much benefit for drying my clothes and it takes longer.

I love the way it looks. It is still a bit to big for my space, but it gets the job done. I also love the app that lets me know when it has stopped the current cycle. The smart diagnosis is also an amazing feature. When it was delivered and installed it was pushed too far back and crushed the vent. When I ran the dryer cycle it dried a bit but it went off and the flow sense light came on. I was able to use the smart diagnosis feature to learn what to do with the dryer. I have not used all the cycles and features yet but so far I am a satisfied customer.

Love our new dryer! It is so quiet! Dries clothes super fast. Love all the fancy features. Matches my LG washer! Love the app so I can control both on my phone.

I went back and forth on a few products for hours. originally i was considering a less expensive unit because i thought it had the same features for less money. Then enters the guys working in the department.. They discussed that the option i wanted, steam, was not the same between the bands. at first I felt like maybe I was getting "sold" on an more expensive unit but i walked away, did some research and found they were 100% directing me to the product that would do what I was asking for. There's a huge difference between less expensive and "cheaper". The other unit I was considering was cheaper and I feel i would not have been as happy.

Works well.... no static cling on the clothes. High capacity to hold even a cal king comforter.

Excellent dryer with a lot of features even tells you when your dryer duct is clear. A lot of space a d dries clothes perfectly

So far, I am extremely satisfied with the dryer. Large capacity helps to have only few laundries per week. BestBuy customer service is great. Installation was done well.

Pretty Nice! You don’t have to wait for complete cycle to finish all the time. When clothes are dry the machine shuts off! It Has a Sensor!

Works great no issues, great pricing. Prefer this size and old model shape vs the newer ones.
