Seems like a great dryer with useful functions. Hoping it lasts 10 years!

First of all the delivery was very smooth. By far the washer and dryer is working amazing and efficiently. They look nice and elegant. Im glad i chooses these as my first washer and dryer appliances.

It drys my clothes, towels, rugs, and anything else I throw in it without any issues. The smart features are cool and it is nice to be able to download additional drying cycles. If it lasts 5 to 10 years, I'll be happy.

If you dry clothes that have strings, such as gym shorts or swimming suits, you cannot use this dryer without a dryer bag. The vent inside the dryer is designed so poorly such that the strings from clothes get stuck into the plastic vent. After two dryer cycles, I had 10+ pairs of expensive Reebok gym shorts completely ruined. When I contacted LG customer support, they sent me a support article suggesting I buy and use dryer bags. My previous dryer was 15+ years old and didn't require the additional effort. I highly regret buying this dryer. For $1,000+ you should not have to bag your clothes to avoid damage. I would have returned to Best Buy but I discovered the problem right outside the 14 day return window. Massive buyers remorse on this end

Lots of drying options and with using the LG ThinQ app. The multi function door is great. Love the light.

cannot program, or change settings. None of the controls shown in the first picture show up - are dimmed out. When operating the third pic shows what is active. Cannot change temp to medium for example.

Great unit, I did read some reviews that people are saying that big things like comforters or large items were still damp. So I tested mine. Works better than my old ge Dryer. Plenty of steam comes outside the house and the cloths are nice warm and dry. Under 1 hour dry time. I have to disagree with the reviews that this doesn't dry as well. Most of the reviews are positive, again I tested it for this purpose , I even felt the temperature of the vent and monitored the back of the drum to see how hot it got, after opening the dryer. Works like it should. Feel confident that the 1300 dollar dryer actually works.

*Have owned this dryer for just about a year when writing this review* After far too many bad experiences with the "new" style laundry appliances, I tended to stick to the bare bones ones, until my last dryer decided to die after just 2 years. This dryer greatly exceeds my expectations. Handles king-size comforters well (occasionally have to throw it in for a few more minutes). The steam is excellent for freshening attire for the day, I've found you need a few articles of clothing to have them come out dry. Less ironing = more free time for me. Have not downloaded any programs for drying, but maybe some day. Pet owner, average of 10-15 loads of laundry per week.

I love the steam functions on the dryer to sanitize un washable items (pillows for example) and freshen things that just need a little pick me up and not a full wash. The 2-way door is also very convenient for loading and unloading laundry to keep things off the floor (note it does not open completely flat but at an angle). The 7.3 can fit a lot of laundry without it being crowded so it can dry and laundry does not get wrinkly.

The 7900 pair are great machines. I love being notified on my watch that my loads are completed. No more running downstairs to check! Full featured washer and dryer - one of the few that offer allergen and steam options. The washer drum is masssive; it may be too deep for a petite person (I am 5’8”). I like the dual open door on the dryer (we have the electric). Much quieter washing, filling and spinning than my former whirlpools.

Love the design of this dryer. Efficient, quiet and matches my washer. The two way door open option is great. Very happy with this product…washer as well as refrigerator. I guess I’m a believer in this brand.

ease of use, door opening option, large capacity and quietness

I love this dryer! There are two ways to open it, which is convenient. I use the steam fresh feature often and it does a great job of getting wrinkles out without having to iron. The only thing I am having a hard time getting used to is the dry sensor that stops the cycle if I re-run it to get sweatshirt sleeves or pant loops dry. The only way around it seems to be the timed dry setting. Other than that, I love this dryer and the wifi settings that alert me when the cycle is finished. I would highly recommend it!

Got this dryer at a fantastic price well worth every dollar . Has so many functions easy to set up and use . We wanted a dryer with permanent press and this one works perfectly so good that savss on ironing. Havent had the opportunity to use all functions so many but certainly meets our needs perfectly. The reversable dryer door means you can its easy to put in any tight spaces and not have to worry about room. Highly recommend this dryer wont regret it.

Extra large drum and easy two-way door for loading and unloading. Have to put it on extra dry to get clothes fully dry.

I really like my dryer. It is drying items more quickly than my old machine. I use the pull down feature on door when loading machine, very convenient-someone had a really good idea with that. I use the swing feature to unload, very happy with steel drum. Easy to use and looks great!
